We attended a benefit dinner here where 10% of all the sales goes back to the charity. I can start by saying that is awesome! I love community connection in all forms and was so happy to be a part of something like that. The space is open and the decor is BRILLIANT. LOVE LOVE LOVE, the boiler room vibes. We ordered the wings, so bomb. Crisp, wood roasted flavor, so delicious. And the gorgonzola sauce was perfection, creamy housemade, yum! We wanted to order the Chicken in a Blanket, and there were no more, which was so sad. I also ordered the brussels and bacon and that was also delicious. We got the kids pizza that was also big enough to share so of course I had some. Delicious crust, perfectly cooked, melted and awesome. My husband ordered the Fireball, spicy and he loved it. Our server never wrote anything down which is super impressive and intimidating in the industry. The only thing I didn't love was the fact that we ordered three things that they didn't have. Fantastic pizza restaurant bar. Their happy hour (3-5) can't be beat. We love to sit at the bar - everyone who works there is great!

My wife went there for a work get together, ordered drinks and a pretzel. She told server that she would be ordering a pizza to go. The server never returned. The food was fine but not special. We ordered the chicken wrap there was very little chicken and many large lettuce ends. I had a green salad they do not offer Ranch Dressing they had a Gorgonzola Ranch that was fine but not to my taste. I have never been to a restaurant that did not have Ranch dressing!! My last critique they had no sugar or any type of sugar substitute what so ever. We were given what they had packets of raw sugar that would not dissolve in my ice tea. I went there for the first time this evening. The place was maybe half full as far as table seats go. I saw a sign said seat yourself so I did. And I sat there for five minutes, and someone finally came by asked me what I'd like to drink and handed me a menu. I then sat there for another 10 minutes, and had absolutely nothing to drink, no one asked me any questions and several employees walked by in a very good fixed eye straight ahead mode so I could not catch their eye. Went for lunch. Had the single size Margarita pizza and salad. The pizza had fresh tomato, mozzarella, and basil. The sauce was a perfect blend of sweet and savory. It was delicious! Service was great too. The waiter greeted us right away, drink and food was quick to follow. I will definitely be returning! read more

Tried The Boiler Room last night because they were running their buy any pizza, get a pepperoni pizza for free. We got a carnivore. Both pizzas were decent, but the crust was burned pretty bad which made it almost inedible, which is a bummer if you like crust. Not sure if it just got left in too long, or that's their style. Biggest turnoff was the price. The pizzas aren't very big at all. If you have a decent appetite, they're basically personal pizzas. However, the cheapest pizza was nearly 20 dollars, with some exceeding that price. Amazing food, great customer service and phenomenal atmosphere! Didn't know this place was where it was before last weekend. Now I'm telling everyone about it. I got the Mac 'n Cheeza Pizza and it was seriously UH-MAZING! My husband got the blackened chicken wrap and that was super delicious as well. Great place for families, date night or girls night out. This a fairly new place, I like the open industrial feel, nice atmosphere; the staff was very attentive. We each ordered a beverage from the bar, and both were good. We tried the Cheesy Bread, house made dough stopped with herb oil, house cheese blend, parmesan and oregano, served with two dipping sauces; a marinara and what tasted like an herbed buttermilk; the bread was very good. Was there for lunch. Ordered pizza and salad. I have never been to a pizza place and been served cold pizza. It was undercooked, no char on it like the waiter said there would be and barely warm. Worst pizza I have ever had. The salad...there were several pieces that were very brown so picked them out and put on the side of my plate in hopes the help would see them. Will never go back. I ordered the double pepperoni and got about 12 slices of pepperoni on my whole pizza and the crust was burnt. We went to the Boiler Room on a Saturday afternoon at 12:15, for lunch. There weren't that many people in the restaurant; probably 7 tables of people were there. We sat ourselves, as is requested and waited for someone to come over. We observed pretty quickly, that there was only one server out on the floor. While it wasn't very busy in there, 7 tables is still kind of a lot, for one person to cover. I can only imagine how much slower the service would have been, if there were more people there. Anyway, slow and inattentive service remained the theme throughout the meal, but the most disappointing part, was the pizza itself. We ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza, sans red onion. When I read the reviews online and looked at the menu, I was excited to see that they boast 25% of the crust to be charred, which made me assume the crust would be something exceptional. I will start with a couple of the positives and roll into the negatives: Positives- -large chunks of chicken -lots of cheese Negatives- -the chicken was really dry -the pizza was luke-warm -the crust was not "charred" at all, in fact it was chewy (and not in a good way) -on the first two slices I ate, I barely detected any of the sweet/spicy BBQ sauce -the Kansas City Bacon, was very scant I did like the way that the restaurant itself was designed and decorated, but overall it was just a really underwhelming pizza experience, from the start to finish, with "meh" service and "bleh" pizza. Well, let's start with the good (and the great - the pizza!) AWESOME pizza. Basically as good as artisan pizza gets. LOVED every bite, looking forward to going back for more. I had some sort of Garlic pizza with feta & whole garlic chunks & peppers. SO GOOD! That's what will make me go back. Also, they had some great hot toddys that were different and tasty. I tried one with Chai Tea & rum I believe.....it warmed me up! Now, the not so good. We got there and seated ourselves (as the sign asks you to), but waited probably close to 10 minutes after that to be acknowledged or welcomed. Wasn't a fan of that. After the slow-start, our waitress (Emily) did come back and check on us regularly and at good intervals. Kept our waters full and asked a couple times if we wanted another beverage. The other BIG complaint I have is that it was FREEZING in there. Snowstorm outside, cool looking interior, neat lighting.....but metal chairs, concrete floors, lots of windows, and a low thermostat = keep your coat on for the entire meal. NOT what I like to do when I go out to eat. A fireplace would've been a GREAT addition to this space. I can see that in the summer, when they roll those big garage doors up and bring the outdoors in, it could be really cool. But until then....they need to turn the heat up a few notches. I also agree with another reviewer that the TVs were so high, that they almost seemed like an afterthought. I probably wouldn't go here to watch a game. Will I go back? Yes. What a great addition to little Spokane! I absolutely love the atmosphere and decor. It's a really neat place to hang out, and it's cool hat they stay open late. The pizza is amazing and I'm willing to bet there isn't better pizza in Spokane. I saw they were working on an outdoor patio, but something got messed up so now it's a little further out. I can only imagine how busy this place could be once word spreads around. I would hate to have to wait for a table here but I'm counting on this place to be successful and stick around. We stopped in early on a Friday and we're surprised it was super busy! The bartender was really nice and very open about wait times for food because they were a little understaffed for the day. We stayed and had wings and a pizza and both were fantastic. Half the pizza was a little more cooked then we would like, but still tasted great. We went here for dinner last night and it was great. They have a cool bar and it was super chill and comfortable with a super nice server. We started with the garlic flatbread which had whole roasted garlic cloves and pesto - delicious!! Then we ordered the Casa Blanca which had crimini mushrooms and prosciutto - this was really tasty but it was super rich and on the salty side so I'd probably try something else next time. OK, I would give this place another star and a half if and when the install some noise absorbing material in the ceiling and/or walls. The noise level here is like going to a rock concert the acoustics are so bad. Food wise, the pizza is amazing, caprese salad we split was awesome, could use a better draft beer selection. Great pizza. Cold draught beer and thr salads were good too, though I thought the house was awesome and the Caesar was just ok. Nice ambience too, brand new clean and fresh.
