Do not visit this location!! The service is horrible , I told the lady at the Togo window that I wanted the crab legs without spikes and she told me that King crab came without spikes. I then asked her how many crab legs came in a pound she told me 4-5. I come home and these are the crab legs I paid almost $200 for. I called them about the order and all they could say was it was the ladies fault but did not want to issue me a refund for the obvious missing pound of crab. Then to resolve the problem they offered to give me 2 snow crabs which is half of the price I paid for these. I'm really disappointed and won't ever come here again read more

Ordered from Uber eats. I ordered the king crab hoping for a special meal. Uhhh...no such luck. The king crab was soaked in inedible hot Cajun sauce to mask the lack of fresh quality. I was very clear in my order that I wanted medium heat (and I'm not scared of Thai-level hot) as I wanted to taste the crab. This was ridiculously hot. Costco crab legs had this place beat without question...by a mile. Over $100 out the window. Thanks for nothing. Lesson learned. Plus, the gumbo and Cajun chowder were poor representations of the real thing with one shrimp and a piece of sausage in each. I was super excited to see that boiling crab finally opened up a Plano location considering I used to drive 30+ min to eat other location. It took over where spaghetti warehouse used to be, I love that it has its own building. The interior is a lot larger and roomy. They're able to seat more people quicker that way whereas the one in Dallas is always a long wait. My shrimp and crawfish were overcooked and tasted mushy. The crawfish tasted frozen/ long dead. Corn was cold and my xxx shabang was not remotely spicy enough for my liking. It's a new location and they just opened. I'll give it another try in a few weeks to see if this was just a fluke before deciding on which location is worth going to. read more

BC Plano is pound for pound best in the area. I wouldn't waste my time with other places. Plano is The most consistent seafood joint in the area. Came in on and Sunday night and once we ordered they finally decided to mention that they had no snow crab legs. I feel like that should have been disclosed as soon as we arrived since that is their main item sold. Service was subpar. Food was tasty, however there were NO combo options available and everything else was alacart. I feel like they really nickel and dime you hear. Not to mention there is no bar. I had invited my parents, son, sister and niece to dinner to show them how much better Boiling Crab is then they're fav Shell Shack. They were not impressed at all by the smell, flavor, price or service we received that night. The food was not as great as it normally is, the catfish filet looked more like small nuggets, the chicken tenders were looking more like the catfish filet. The king crab legs were small clusters for the price we payed, the oysters tasted grainy and the shrimp tasted like it'd been sitting to long. The waitress took our order an dropped our food off an that was it we had to keep asking other people for things cause she was Mia. We ordered the king crab legs and they were really good. I recommend getting the lemon pepper wings and maybe just order food to go. No buckets were served at our table for all the trash so I thought their might be some pre bussing but that was as non existent as our servers desire for us to be there. The food was awesome yes. I feel like I only write reviews when I'm angry but this one is positive. Literally had like 3 different servers it felt like. Every person walking by checked on our table. Didn't even have to do that. Nobody does that. You ask for something they say let me go get your server. These were all servers not managers. And then when I'm leaving there was just a guy standing by the door dash window and said have a good night. What are these employees on? Crayfish were so overcooked that you can't even pull the tail meat. I ordered 5 lbs and stopped out of pure disappointment after a little over a pound. I can say after eating crayfish for over 30 years that this is awful. If you like Cajun style, this isn't it. They boil in a bag and it conveys the plastic flavor. I am a huge fan of Boiling Crab, I usually go to the Dallas location. I tried this Plano location since it was closer and was extremely disappointed. The sauce was bland and was basically pure oil. Everyone at our table experienced the same issue. So we ordered extra sauce thinking that would help, but it didn't. We literally had to wipe our crab, shrimp, corn and potatoes off because it was like eating pure oil. We left majority of the food on the table and left. $150 was wasted. This place has the best Cajun food!! As a Indian I know what spice is and my family loves spicy food!! So we usually get the Triple X hot and it brings tears!! It's sooo good and we usually get the Shabang sauce as it has garlic in it! Our usual order for seafood is their King crabs that fall perfectly out of the shell , their juicy shrimp/prawns, with their corn!! TIP: Pay extra to make it juicy!! You'll thank me later ! They had crawfish that were almost as small as a water bottle cap. I use to go to the garland location, but Plano is where it is at. The wait is much shorter and it is extremely clean! The wait staff is very attentive & the manager, Nhi pays attention to each table greeting them (from what i noticed). The food is pretty good same ole bc goodness! The service is better than most restaurants that I've been to, I haven't had to wait or continually ask for refills or assistance as there is always someone around willing to help. Came to dine w/ husband for the 1st time today in this location. We each had a lb of boiled shrimp in a bag. Disappointed that it barely had any sauce which tasted bland. It forced us to buy the sauce that was supposed to be there in the first place so that the shrimp has time to soak in the flavor. Once we poured in the sauce, it tasted so much better, especially when you can dip it in the sauce. We never had this issue before at other locations. In addition, my shrimp weren't properly cooked, they were a bit raw and gave me a mild stomach upset 20 min after leaving the restaurant and did the nature's call when we got home. Bathroom looked nice and clean, but smelled badly like back airflow from the drainage. Positive side: Calamari but small portion, Sweet potato fries and Cajun fries , Ambience , location , parking, staff Overall: Overpriced, hoping they will fix the sauce issue and bathroom issue. I never had to write up a negative comment for Boiling Crab, even if the wait was too long.
