We live close in Salt Lake City, so we are in Vegas a number of times a year. We frequent the bar across the street but on this particular day that bar was closed for a private event, so for shits we decided to check out The Bonfire and we are so glad we did!! We love dive bars, sports bars and video poker so this place was right up our alley! We love the online player's club so you don't need to bring a card every time and can just log in for points! And our bartender - Danielle - what an awesome, fun person and made our visits so much fun! We are now "besties" and can't wait to come back for the VP, and fun vibes and food! OMG, the food! We ordered their triple dipper with fresh made chips and the birria tacos... Absolutely amazing. So good that we came back the next day and got the same thing! If you are in the area and are looking for a fun, friendly sports bar with cool vibes, great bartenders and tasty food, this is your spot! The regulars were nice and the beer and shots are ice cold. What are you waiting for??

The Bonfire has some of the best staff. Attentive and fun! They have great food and great times. Come check them out when they have an open mic or one of there numerous events, like live bands. DESTINY was lovely and was very professional during our time at the establishment. Big butt too haha!!

Bonfire is a hidden gem worth every bite From the outside, you'd never guess what's waiting inside Bonfire, but once you step in...wow! We started with the Chips & Dip Trio, and let me just say: best chips and dips I've ever had, and I've eaten at some pretty high-end places, too. The chips were hot, crispy, and clearly just fried, none of that stale, bagged nonsense. The cheddar cheese dip was ooey, gooey perfection, the guacamole was bright, chunky, and fresh with big pieces of avocado, and the salsa hit that perfect balance of spice and tang without being overpowering. Then came the tacos, Birria and Carne Asada. The birria meat was tender and rich, the shell lightly crisped and not greasy at all. The carne asada tacos were loaded and seasoned just right. Jeff ordered the Smoke Show cocktail, and it lived up to the name, the cloud of smoke when he lifted the lid was impressive. You could smell the smoke but didn't taste it, just a smooth, well-balanced drink. The place itself? Spotless. You can tell they care about cleanliness, the menus were actually clean (I love when a restaurant gets it). The vibe is hole in the wall, relaxed, and the staff was genuinely friendly and on top of everything. Don't let the humble exterior fool you...Bonfire is the real deal. Exceptional food, great service, and attention to every detail. Absolute must-try.

Came for battle of the bands on Wednesday night and we enjoyed the vibe of the place. We started the night off with a midori sour and Modelo, took a seat, then waited for the bands to come on. The midori and Modelo were great. The waitress came by and asked if we wanted to order anything more and my husband ordered a budweiser and I asked for water. I saw other customers with cups of tap water and assumed this was what I was ordering. The waitress took our card, charged it, then brought back two water bottles. I let her know that I wanted cups of water like the customers at the table in front of us had and she stated that "after the bands come on we don't give out water in cups." What does that even mean and what would the reason for this be?? I found this very odd and wished she would have either brought the bottles of water before taking our card or let us know it would be water bottles. We ended up paying $3 per bottle of water that we will probably just end up taking home. It's not a huge deal obviously, but it's pretty annoying since I would have just went and got my water in the car if I knew we would be charged for water bottles instead of just being given tap like most bars do. We were going to order food as well but decided against it after this occurrence.

Early dinner - we beat the Sat night crowd lol! Two biker dudes opened this bar in May, just a few months ago and the reviews are SPOT ON! Rosie the bar manager was very cool - let us know this 24 hour restaurant has events 7 days a week and usually starts to get busy after 8:00 pm. Reservations accepted but not necessary. Plenty of free parking! Rosie mentions Thursday & Sunday nights sound like the best times to visit. Thursday nights with their house band Velvet Moon. Sunday's are great for Brown's games and Line Dancing. See the website for other events throughout the week. We ordered the Steak Sandwich and The Bonfire Burger. Both were delicious but let me tell you about that Steak Sandwich. Came toasted on sourdough bread but what they don't mention on the menu is there is some sort of MAGICAL BONFIRE SECRET SAUCE on it that will have you thinking whaaaaat is THIS?! 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place to have dinner before attending the Brad Garret Comedy Club, Brown's fans, bikers, first dates, and musical professionals looking for a place to chill after hours. Looking forward to coming back again someday!

Dee is a baddie and a sweetheart! She makes a bomb drink and keeps the vibes right. Great service, great energy, and she really knows how to take care of her guests. If you come through, make sure Dee is your bartender!

My favorite stop in Vegas! The happy hour is phenomenal. Four drinks for $12? Yes, please. The bartender was super friendly and one of the owners I believe came out and was talking with us for a minute. The overall vibe here combined with the drink prices and service is phenomenal. Came for an event and have to say, this was one of the best small venues I've seen in Vegas. Staff was courteous, attentive, and professional. Venue was clean. Service was great, especially with the event crowd. Although we didn't utilize the stage, it appears very competently equipped with sound and lighting (unlike (MOST) similar venues. I wish them well, and will look forward to shows that happen here. read more

Great venue, the wings were wonderful, the menu is very nice. I'm going to try the steak dinner next time. Wow. Went here for the 1st time today for Karaoke and had so much fun .The baretenders are so cool and the drink are so cool. Had a drink that literally had smoke in it. And very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun time off the Vegas Strip. read more

I had a birthday party in conjunction with their bike night. Wow, what a great time! They went above and beyond to accommodate. Chef did great job with off the menu appetizer buffet. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday. The sound and stage set up is great for a live band. While I am not a huge fan of country music, the set up was great. I liked how they had seating in different areas, close to bar, and close to the stage. It was also cool that they had pool tables and darts. Parking is a little tight when they draw a crowd, but we came on a motorcycle and didn't have any issues. Everyone working was very pleasant...they could probably use a little help on busy nights...but the food and drinks were spot on! They were even kind enough to modify some items to fit my dietary needs. I'd be happy to check them out on their other themed nights...Jam night, karaoke night...great place! read more

This is my new favorite spot. The owners and staff are all amazing. All the food I've tried so far has been really good. I love the jalapeño poppers. They have live bands on Friday for bike night and karaoke on Tuesdays. They have pool tables and gaming too. Really fun spot. Very cool upbeat crowds. Always a good time. read more

Do not sleep on this place. The food is fantastic the finishes are all nice. They have happy hour 7 days a week from 2-7p, as well as live music. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food blew us away. We had Erin as a bartender and she was so sweet and incredibly helpful. If you play $20 in gaming you get free drinks. read more

This venue came in clutch for us. I was up for an award, and the award show lost their venue at the last minute. The Bonfire saved the day and hosted the event. These guys were fantastic. So incredibly helpful and friendly. In addition to being up for an award, I was helping set things up, and photographing the event. These guys were Johnny On The Spot whenever I needed anything, like extension cords, etc., and they even helped us out with a doorman when ours flaked. The venue is really cool tavern with great food, great bar service, a big parking lot, pool tables, a stage (we needed that), clean bathrooms, you name it, they have it. We owe The Bonfire a debt of gratitude for helping make our event amazing. A couple of the staff even wound up coming to our afterparty. It was just amazing. read more

Walked by and got greeted by a nice guy telling us we should stop in. Glad we did, extremely friendly servers, pool tables, darts, stage so I assume live bands. Menu was extensive, a lot of good options. Once we received our food, it was decent. Wings didnt have much flavor/seasoning but came out extremely hot and fresh. We stopped in to The Bonfire for a quick bite. We ordered a burger and the chicken strips. We ordered our fries crispy - they were far from it and lacked any color indicating they'd been cooked. The chicken strips were your basic chicken strip with a mediocre dipping sauce. The burger was amazing- cooked to perfection! A bit under seasoned for me, but a quick shake of some salt took care of that. I'll trade under seasoned for cooked to perfection any day! read more

There's a small kitchen area where the menu is and where you place your order. Cooks are viciously making the orders that others are placing, and you can hear the constant sizzling of hot dogs on their grills. They have bar seating on the other side along with a bunch of tables close by but they were all taken since it was prime dinner time at 7:30pm on The Strip and people were walking all around the area. We decided to eat over at a nearby taco joint in the end. Both of us got their D.U.I. Dog, which has pastrami, carne asada, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, a ton of cilantro and chipotle aioli (a mayonnaise kind of sauce). Very packed with flavor with all the meats inside, and the cheese melts so well inside the hot dog. They even put this inside a relatively big carton container, the same kind I've seen the staff put their D.U.I. Fries in... holy crap those are some huge portions! For $18 before tax though, this hot dog was already slightly massive for its size, at just about a foot long. Very nice start to a great time in Vegas! MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to. Service: You order, pay, and they call your name to pick up your food. Straightforward.

Tacos were full of meat and tasted good...but certainly not near the best you can buy in this town...so I dock a star for that since the restaurant's name includes "Taco" in it. I will be back to try other things...love the location near Virgin when I stay there for staycations.

We had parked outside the main entrance towards Tropicana street. It was only a short walk from the main entrance and up escalators to the second floor to get to the movie theater. It was also next to a large arcade as well! We had already purchased our tickets through the Cinemark movie mobile application and ended up getting snacks. There is now a XL popcorn bucket offered by Cinemark and we ended up getting one of those as well as a few sodas. The checkout process was seamless, since I'm a movie rewards member, they scanned the QR code for discounts. Outside of the snack area was additional condiments, napkins, and even extra butter if you wanted! The Mortal Kombat II movie was in theater one. The seats were comfortable, reclined, sound quality in the theater was awesome, and the movie was great! I'm not sure the next time I'll be back at this movie theater as we usually go to the Santa Fe Century or the Suncoast Century since it's closer to our house, but if there is a limited showing, only available at Century Orleans 18, we would come back to this movie theater again!

I ALWAYS get anywhere from 5-10 hand pays upon a 2-3 days stay. I could hardly win anything; the slots just took your money, and that was it. Went to Bellagio and, within one hour, hit $ 1,250 and multiple other wins. Please loosen up the slots at MGM Park. What I witnessed over a 3-day interim was murderous.

MGM Grand Incident at Level Up…read more On Sunday, May 24, we came to Level Up at MGM Grand for Karaoke to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday and Memorial Day. We were enjoying ourselves up until the following incident with the bartender Ray. I've dealt with busy bars, stressed staff, and occasional misunderstandings before, but this was on another level entirely. The bartenders communication skills were lacking from the start. We seem to be bothering him when trying to place orders. Not once were we greeted, welcomed or even asked if there was anything that we would like to order we had to call on him from across the bar for any type of service. What should've been a normal interaction turned hostile when the bartender demanded my husband owed him $6 for my Coke. My husband explained that he was gambling at the bar for the last half hour, but the bartender insisted he owed him $6 because I was not sitting there when he came with the drink, that he would not comp the beverage. Then came the request for him to place it on a tab so that we could move to a table closer to the stage. He outright refused to listen with dismissive responses, and instead of letting anyone finish speaking, he talked over my husband and daughter and escalated the situation. Rather than being professional, he became aggressive and confrontational immediately. The most frustrating part was being falsely accused of using profanity when no such act occurred. When my daughter told him he was being rude he shouted at her that she was rude and that's when the false claim was made that her boyfriend swore at him when he looked up at the man shouting at his girlfriend and had not said one word. Instead of resolving anything, the Bartender Ray took the incident personally and took it to the next level by calling Security to have us escorted out of Level Up, claiming we were irate, aggressive and he felt threatened by our presence, refusing us service. Despite this we remained composed yet justly upset and being publicly treated like we had done something wrong over a completely fabricated accusation was embarrassing and unnecessary. The security guard apologized and said he didn't understand why the bartender was so angry and that we did not need to leave the premise but needed to leave the venue. I understand customer service can be difficult, especially in a busy environment, but basic professionalism, listening skills and respectful communication should still be expected, especially in a tourism driven industry. Unless management seriously addresses how staff interacts with their customers I won't recommend this place and will never return. My husband is a retired veteran and I have over 30 years experience, in executive sales & customer service. I currently work in the hospitality industry for the largest 4 star resort in North America here in Las Vegas. I completely understand working with unreasonable customers, and we were not that in this instance. Far from it. We are very supportive and treat all service workers with respect. We are good paying customers that also gamble and all we expected was basic common courtesy. Retaliation toward paying customers is unacceptable and any employee in any situation that abuses power because they're having a bad day should be held accountable for their actions.

Roy, one of the bartenders, tried to charge us individually for the sodas after we had asked repeatedly to open a tab and move to the tables. He then started getting frustrated and leaned over the counter top yelling in my face. I tried to communicate that he was being a pretty rude for a silly misunderstanding. He continued to scream in my face and called security saying we had used inappropriate language with him and that he felt "threatened". After repeatedly attempting to diffuse the situation, he got security to escort us out. Additionally, the MGM security also did not understand why he was so upset. After they had talked to us, they profusely apologized. Overall, the 20 minutes we were there, we weren't impressed at all and will not be visiting Roy again. Completely unprofessional and unwelcoming.

The Bonfire is a gem in Las Vegas, perfectly situated on Naples between Paradise Rd and Univ. Center Dr, just a block from The HofBrauhaus. Starting our night at the Virgin Casino, we had an easy 10-minute walk to The Bonfire. The establishment boasts a spacious, well-lit parking lot, but we opted to park at Virgin's free garage, which was also convenient. The big neon Bonfire sign is hard to miss. Upon entering, we were greeted by a "celebrity logo wall" perfect for social media photos. Inside, the place is impressively spacious with various seating areas tailored for different vibes. To the right is the sports bar area, complete with gaming machines and fantastic drinks crafted by Rosie. We enjoyed Old Fashioneds, Michaela's, wine, and beer. The "connection" room, linking the sports bar to the live band area, has high-top tables and offers a great spot to enjoy the music without it being too loud. Here, we ordered from a diverse menu filled with appetizers, shareable items, and entrées. I look forward to returning just for dinner! My only critique is the brown paged menus, which are hard to read in dim lighting - a minor hiccup in an otherwise stellar experience. Easily fixed with a lighter choice of page color. The live band area was a highlight, featuring a great lineup of well-established bands across various genres. There is plenty of room for a dance floor, and saw many enjoying the music and dancing. The opposite side is another casual sports bar area with pool tables and is another fantastic feature. Regardless of where you stand - sports bar, connecting room, live music area, or pool table room - you can see and hear the music, contributing to the lively atmosphere. However, the true highlight was the staff. From the bartender Rosie and lovely long blonde haired server (whose name I missed) to PJ (I think bar manager), everyone was incredibly attentive and personable. PJ made it a point to engage with every guest, remember names, and enhance our experience. The Bonfire is a fantastic addition to the area, and I can't wait to return to check out more of the band lineup. Highly recommended! read more

I came in for the first time on Friday night. My friends and I were instantly greeted by the security guy at the door. Upon first look he seems like a mean-mugging, tattooed, mohawk, muscle guy but he welcomed us and made us feel excited to be there. The staff inside were great as well. Everyone smiling, welcoming and attentive. A country rock band was playing and the sound was great. Not too loud, it was a great volume to enjoy the music and socialize as well! Our server was great, I think her name was Aggie. She was on top of everything making sure we were never without what we needed! The Ribeye Dinner at $18 was really a great meal. Drinks are reasonably priced for being not too far off the strip as well! When we left we got to speak with the security guy again on the way out. I went this morning for a quick drink before going home after finishing my shift. I would like to ask the manager, what are a bunch of black men dressed as "women" in the ladies restroom doing? I had to use the ladies room only to walk very uncomfortably into a women's restroom full of drunk, high, foul mouthed black men acting like men dressed in drag. They had drinks obviously served by whoever the morning waitress or bartender is that keeps serving them. This is inexcusable and after this incident (and it's not the first time) you have lost my business. And those men dressed as women who just hang out in the ladies room getting drunk and high screaming and yelling obscenities , will end up hurting your business. Disgraceful! read more
