Ambiance, check. Cowboy decor, check. Menu potential... check. And yet, somehow it just didn't add up to a great experience. We had the green chili cheese fries. Not sure about you, but I'm expecting.. green chili. It was red, so red. Red tomato red sauce red. It was regular chili. Strange, but not the end of the world. The chicken avocado wrap. Ok... So the thing is- when I eat a wrap I want fresh crisp lettuce, grilled chicken, sliced avocado, maybe some melted cheese and a delish sauce to top it off. That's just how this was described (in more or less words). But what came out was a tortilla, and inside it was literally a mushed up coleslaw mix of ingredients. It was like they took a pound of shredded cheese, threw in mayo, globs of squishy avocado and a few pieces of chicken. It was mushy at best. We had the brownie dessert, good flavor, but the brownie was more comparable to batter than to a cooked treat. Finally, while the waitress was nice, we had to prompt every step "could you please grab our plates when you have a second? Maybe a soda refill as we haven't had any in our glasses for quite some time?" and then had to wait an excruciatingly long time. The interior of the restuarant itself is pretty nice and service was good. I cannot say the same about the food. While I am partial to corn tortillas, both the prime rib and shrimp tacos had these dry crumbly flour tortillas and the meat was not very tasty. The Nashville chicken sandwich was also not very good. The chicken to breading to bread ratio was so off, it's like you were eating a bread sandwich. My parents got this dip sandwich and wanted to point out how much scum was in the jus. I was hesitant about eating here based on the old bad reviews but I was very happy that I had a much better experience. Shrimp tacos were amazing, my friend and her daughter had the American dip and beef stroganoff and loved it. Nice atmosphere and decor, friendly staff and quick service. Me and my friends came here for dinner during our Labor Day trip and loved it! We were told that it gets busy so there might be a line but we were able to get a table for all 6 of us right away. I immediately noticed the staff were super friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable of the menu. We all got various dishes but since I'm the fish and seafood lover I had to try the salmon. It was delicious! All of my food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and it was very affordable. I have to add that although they didn't have the strawberry lemonade on their menu, our waitress said that she could make one for me and it was one of the best strawberry lemonades I've ever had! I wish I could remember her name, but she was excellent with everyone at our table. Can't wait for another trip to Loveland just to get to Boot Grill again! read more

Food is good, especially the Loaded Buffalo appetizer. Unfortunately this restaurant likes to misrepresent its hours and close its kitchen without any sort of notice. My girlfriend and I had already ordered our drinks AND food (after waiting almost 15 minutes to be noticed by a server) when the waitress came out to say "we're actually not serving food anymore because we close at 11." It was 10:30; their website said they were open until 2am! Of course the waitress blamed Covid for this--who doesn't these days?--but Covid doesn't give you an excuse to provide subpar service. We were excited to spend a night at the Boot, but instead we left hungry after one drink because no one bothered to tell us they had changed their hours or closed their kitchen. From now on I'll go to a restaurant that will actually serve me some food--a low bar, sure, but one the Boot can't manage to step over. read more

So.....on Sat 03-02-24, my wife was invited to this bar for a friend of her's birthday. I am a professional Black man who doesn't drink alcohol or take narcotics....I was at the bar less than 5 mins when I ordered a drink for my wife but I was refused service by the bouncer who stated he had to protect the integrity and license of the bar. I was truly embarrassed by having to explain to my wife's friend and her friends why we had to leave so suddenly. I am not allowed by Yelp "guidelines" to express why I know I was refused service. Located off the main road in Loveland and close to the convention center, it serves okay bar food and have a great selection of local beer on draft and on bottles. I was staying at a nearby hotel and was hungry. With limited options in the area, the Boot caught my eyes. There is a restaurant side and a bar side, and I went to the bar side twice. The first night, I had the steak salad and the second, appetizers; both nights with local draft IPAs. Atmosphere is friendly, bartenders attentive, and affordable; notably regulars seem to frequent. The best part? As I was leaving, I eyed a special picture on the wall with some University of Southern California all-stars! Gotta love it. Fight On! read more

I came here on 6-21-21 at around 10pm because it said they close at 12. Turns out they closed at 10. The bartender was so friendly she got my order in right before close and I hate to be that person but she did not rush me at all and the service was great. *RACIST ESTABLISHMENT* DO NOT COME HERE. The security guard at this establishment was racially profiling one of my friends. There were 7 of us at the table and he only wanted to card our friend. The only difference? He wasn't white. Our friend asked if he was going to card the rest of us and he said no. Not only that, he didn't just look at his card. He throughly kept doing double takes of his ID, trying to find something wrong with it. Our other friend sitting next to him pulled out his ID and insisted that if he was going to check one ID, he needed to check all of ours. We all pulled out our IDs and he kept waving us off, he didn't want to look at them. We insisted. He finally left and then posted up right next to our table staring at us, when we were the only quiet group sitting in our seats. We started discussing how rude that was and the guard came back, laid his hand on our friend and Asked if there was a problem. This guard loved feeling powerful in this situation. Eventually he left again and went back to his post next to us, ignoring the other large groups of drunk people around us. Our friend felt so uncomfortable that he wouldn't order anything and eventually left. We had one of our other friends escort him out because the situation felt so unsafe. If you care about the morality of an establishment, then don't bring any of your business here. On top of that, the waitress was terrible. Had no idea what she had behind the bar. Quickly walked away after taking our order and never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or food. Spent 30 minutes waiting to get our tab. Eventually we had to go back to the bar to ask for it where she was standing flirting with some dude. After we asked for our tab, it took another 5-10 minutes to get it, and our waitress wasn't even the one to bring it to us. Been here for a group happy hour and thought it would be great to return. Service was attentive but I was surprised to be charged 75c for tartar sauce which came with my fish and chips. I didn't ask for it and why wouldn't this come with?! Fish was tasteless and even the fries were underwhelming. Meh. My friend ordered the jalapeño poppers which were impressively presented but I'm told they were tasteless if it weren't for the sweet chili sauce. Moscow mule. Obviously there are some folks who decide it's great to steal the copper mugs. So hand over your drivers license for them to keep if you want your drink served in the customary copper mug. $7.50 later. Well, I'll pass on that drink. Guinness. Maybe my taste buds are off but nothing tasted good. This just tasted flat and flavorless. When happy hour ends, the music is cranked up. Forget meaningful conversation. The food was fab, and the service lacked. But if you want a delicious huge burger and very tasty fries, do come to the Boot. The staff are all cute young girls in well fitting jeans and tshirts. I was the only girl eating dinner, and I was pretty much ignored, but I didn't mind. It was interesting to watch them with the other diners. One waitress took 20 minutes to get to the table next to me. Another waitress forgot to bring a table their appetizer (those guys were fairly offended). I had to request catsup, and had to wait and then haul somebody over to get a water refill. But I did get to enjoy my burger while watching the Olympics on TV and listen to another waitress trash talk the restaurant next door. Conveniently located by several hotels. read more

I really liked this place. Stumbled upon it because it's close to the sports complex and we had time between games. I'm not typically one for bar food, but dang... if more bar food was as good as theirs, I would seek it out more often. The four of us split two different items and they were kind enough to plate it that way. They even made two half portion nachos for us. The waitress was so friendly, ample parking and the the place is very clean. Kind of mixture between cowboy and biker bar. They have live bands and a nice stage. Wish I lived closer so I could check it out. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because nobody seems to be discouraging people from standing right in front of the entrance and smoking. Tonight I watched a female get shoved -hard enough in her face that she stumbled back a few steps and caught herself before falling- by a male and the bouncers and manager did nothing, after it was brought to their attention. Even after the perp admitted to pushing her, and the bouncers head him tell her to 'go fuck herself,' when she simply asked if he'd at least just apologize- still they did nothing, 'because they didn't see it happen.' However, they refused to look at the security cameras and even though people came up and said they witnessed it happen, still nothing was done. I'm in absolute shock that this is allowed to happen to anyone and nothing is done because the bouncer claims 'he's too busy to deal with it right now.' I for one couldn't imagine how I'd feel if this had been done to my daughter or sister. Granted the bar area was slightly busy due to a Daytona event but Sat for 30 minutes without a single waitress coming and asking if we'd been helped. It took another table next to us that we were talking to to tell a waitress that we hadn't been helped yet. Took another 10 minutes for a waitress to finally come take our order. I ordered their "prize winning" prime rib cooked medium with a twice baked potato and my husband order the 12 oz ribeye cooked rare with mashed potatoes and gravy. When our food was brought to us it was obvious that it had set in the serving window for a while as it was Luke warm and both steaks were over cooked. The cheese on top of my potato wasn't even melted any more. I asked for butter and waited long enough to eat my whole steak, I was hungry and didnt want to wait even longer for a new one so didnt say anything about how over cooked it was, and half my salad before the waitress even came back to see how everything was. When she finally came over I asked about the butter and she said she forgot. The prime rib I would not say is award winning either. Besides being over cooked it was very thin and mostly fat with no flavor. I've had a LOT better other places. Also the waitress never once asked if we would like refills on our drinks. I work in hospitality at a local hotel and am asked a lot for good restaurants in the area. I​ can honestly say I will NOT be recommending The Boot Grill to anyone and not returning my self. I made resos for a party of 22 weeks before Nov 11, 2023 reservation date. The Boot took $200 over the phone to pay for the space, not to go toward the tab. We arrived for the party and we're sent to our table only to find dirty dishes and only space for 16. I asked if we could get the tables cleaned and set up for our reserved party of 22 and was told they could only seat 16 and 6 of our party would either have to be seated elsewhere or leave. When I reminded them manager the young dark haired manager with glasses my reservation and $200 paid to have this space they just looked at me. another member of our party spoke to him as well and was told he would be calling me and refunding my $200 deposit as I paid for something they did not provide. It is now one week later and there has been no call or refund. We were clearly ripped off and lied to. Deposit money was taken for something they could not even provide.
