The Boot Grill has a promising concept as a cowboy/country themed sports bar, and its spacious layout makes it a good spot for large groups or catching a game. We came to the Boot before a show at Blue Arena. Our experience wasn't average at best. The food, while acceptable, is uninspired and generic, offering little to stand out from countless similar establishments. I had the Southwest wrap with chips. While the wrap was decent, the chips were greasy and so not tasty. My boyfriend had the chicken tenders, which as expected were just like any other chicken tenders, so nothing unique. Additionally, the service was a significant disappointment. The staff felt inattentive and unfriendly, which made for an unwelcoming atmosphere. While the decor and ample space might appeal to some, the lackluster food and poor service overshadow these positives. Not sure we will visit here on our next adventure to Loveland.

The hotel is nearly sold out, and there is one bartender, one hostess (also acting as a waitress), and a waiter. Over an hour to wait on food. This is truly unacceptable. Get rid of some tables or staff this place accordingly. It's embarrassing. Telling people at 8:50 they can't even take to-go orders. Once the food did arrive, it was very good. The staff was apologetic the entire night.

The servers did very well on checking in and keeping tge beverages filled. The nachos didnt look as good as they tasted lol. They were loaded with cheese, beans, pico de gallo and super tasty. The steak quesadilla was pretty good. It came with a chipotle cream sauce that took it over the top! The Margherita flatbread was light and fresh. The flatbread crust was not bad, a little cracker like and came with pesto instead of fresh basil. The fish and chips were the highlight of our meal. The fish had a beautiful crispy crust and juicy flaky meat. The dill tarter sauce was a great addition and the chips (fries) were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The dining area is really nice with an awesome mountain view. Chill vibe, great food--definitely worth stopping in and trying.

We were offered indoor or outdoor seating and we opted for outdoors on this balmy 80-degree evening. Wife N started with a mocktail: Summer Crush. Delicious and we didn't miss the normally included liquors in the spirited version. She ordered a make it yourself burger: just the bun, patty, some ketchup and mayo. Medium. Side of fries. Her way. Burger perfect medium. Fries were crispy, above average. I ordered the Mushroom Avocado burger, also medium. Burger was juicy, flavorful, and the tempura avocados were an interesting twist on the un-fried norm. First couple bites had some crisp but mostly the avocados got soggy halfway through. Not sold on the tempura frying but the sandwich on the whole was great. Got some local draft on the side. Well taken care of, food was great, will return.

We put our name in for a table, but then my husband noticed three adjacent seats at the bar. We popped up there after letting the hostess know we no longer needed a table. My husband and I were up for a good burger. My husband chose the Bomb Diggidy this he paired with a pale ale. A cracked black pepper patty with bleu cheese, arugula, bacon, onion crisps, garlic aioli and buffalo sauce. He chose coleslaw for his side and really liked their recipe. My daughter chose the macaroni and cheese. It had four cheese sauce, cavatappi pasta, tomato, chive, spicy garlic bread. She decided to add bacon. She was happy with her choice. She even had some to take home. I was up for something different tonight. I chose the PBJ burger. A fun creation with peanut butter, bacon, roasted jalapeño, fig spread and cheddar. This was such a fun flavor combination. I had tots as my side. They were crispy outside and tender inside. It all paired well with my pint of Sad Panda. Delish! There is not much sound dampening in this space. When crowded it becomes difficult to hear conversation. There was also a gentleman performing popular songs while accompanying himself on guitar. It all mixed together to be a bit much for me. Our service at the bar was attentive, even with the crowd. Great service, great food, tasty brews.

It was 105 degrees outside and the pavement just holding that heat and reflecting it back to bake all life outside. So naturally, when we arrived at the restaurant taking escape from the heat, another couple chose to sit on the unshaded patio. Martians! No other explanation. But from the cool cool inside by the window we had the most delicious dinner! First they had you a hilarious number of menus, I think there were no less than 7. However, appetizer, drinks, food all superb! The mussels were unique in like a sweet buttery teriyaki sauce. With excellent bread atop. For my cocktail I got the white sangria, and that was one delicious and stiff drink. Raviolli was the only vegetarian entree and though I wish I had more options, loved it. For dessert we ordered the goat cheesecake, and that was an experience... for one it was crustless and did taste very goaty, the sauces on it were the best part though. Should you get stranded in Loveland with aliens, I highly recommend Door 222! The whole area looks like it's going through a renovation and should the weather be slightly less than scorching, seems like a lovely area for a stroll!
