Great service authentic Italian food. Bring your appetite. Lots of options the chicken parmigiana is delicious and the duck pizza WHAT!!!

The better half brought me home casio cold cut sub/sandwiche from this so called pizzeria. When I opened the container I laughed.... what a disgrace to subhood (I didn't mention the fries yet). I could have made the same thing at home. No oil nor vinegar or spices... as you can see from the pictures it's a JOKE sub. The bread sucked too. Now the fries.... if Italians are this limp it explain why they're not ruling the free world. Greasy, cold, and SUCKED... I'll never go there nor order from there again. YOU SUCK... shut the business down.....

FANTASTIC!! We stopped in tonight, with a party of 12, and we were treated like family! The grilled meat selection (perfectly cooked and seasoned) and the fresh vegetables were AMAZING! It's always a lovely evening when we come to The Boot. They create such an intimate space, where you feel like you've known them your entire life, and the food is incredible! Additionally, we also love Love LOVE the cooking classes! Every single class has been an out-of-Huntsville experience that makes us feel like we are sitting in Rome, Italy!! Thank you for continually introducing us to savory and sweet Italian delights, and elevating our dining options.

Stopped in for a bite and left full and satisfied. The food was GREAT. Met the owner and quickly made arrangements to come back for a cooking class. The Bar Tender was cool as well. Definitely on my list of great places to eat in Huntsville.

The perfect place to enjoy an authentic Italian meal. The food is outstanding and the bartender is friendly and wait staff very prompt and engaging. The eggplant Parmesan is amazing. If you are looking for a great experience they also offer cooking (mostly eating) classes which show you the Italian way.

Very first visit to The Boot, and I Loved it. The atmosphere, staff and owner were super sweet and friendly. The food was delicious, drinks made made by Dre " Dre tini " was the best I had in a long time!! Will be going back with the family!

First, the service is outstanding. Melissa served us and she is a 5 star server. She is so patient and aware of the needs of her customers. I can't say enough good things about her. The food is average, nothing to brag about. I had the meat lovers pizza and there wasn't a lot of meat. It looked more like a cheese pizza. My wife had the lasagna and it wasn't edible. It was really bad. So 5 stars for service and about 2 stars for food.

Their pizza is made on SOURDOUGH! Huge points there! In the back of the restaurant, there is a small library for both children and adults; as well card and board games. This was helpful for us to keep our two children entertained while the best pizza we have ever had was being prepared by none other than the Pizza Master himself, Eli! We ordered The Rocket. It was a creamy base, topped with bacon, pear, chèvre, arugula, fig spread, and then ( drum roll, please) lemons! I have never ever seen anything like it. And it was so delicious!! out of this world. Along side our pizza, I have a chicken bacon ranch salad. So fresh, so good. We were grateful to also meet the owner Heidi, who is such a sweetheart and has passion in her product. We cannot to be able to visit this gem again.

There's street parking and several parking garages within a block or two -- I used the one off Jefferson St by The Moon, but there's also one on the corner of Holmes and Greene Street. It's not a bad walk at all so don't let parking scare you! The one on Jefferson is free for 2 hours and the one off Greene is cheap and free on the weekends. Anyway, now that I'm off my parking pedestal... Razzo fills a great niche for good pizza downtown. Perhaps better than that for me, it fills the niche of "place that is actually open and serving food from 2-4 PM downtown." I'm salty because of my frustration over finding adequate late lunch spots, but sincerely, I was so happy to be able to walk in and get a bite before an appointment a few weeks ago! They have specialty pizzas that you can order in whole pies, as well as a semi-rotating selection of specialty single slices. You can always get a pepperoni or cheese slice though, which is usually what I prefer anyway. They have a really nice weekday lunch special for two slices, a soda, and a small oreo calzone for dessert. They do have some craft beers on tap, and a few other dessert and appetizer-y options. The whole pies are a little pricy, but that's because... The quality is awesome! Chewy but not doughy sourdough crust, gooey, look-at-the-pull mozzarella, a healthy drizzle of olive oil, a gorgeous subtle tomato sauce, and nicely smoky pepperoni: that's how I'd describe the slice I got when I visited. It was so good! I'd say this place is definitely among my picks for best pizza in town. Service was nice and my slice came out quickly. The inside is approachable and comfy and has a few diversions for the kids if they come along. I also think they deliver over to The Dirty Olive just up the street, so if you'd like a pizza with your craft cocktail, well...you know who to call! Two small things I would change, if I could: the prompted tip on the tablet at the end of each transaction is really high for counter service (like, I wanna say starts at 25% high). I'm not personally too pressed about it as it's easy to change the percent and at any rate I believe the workers deserve a healthy tip anyway, but I can see how it could be off-putting. Second, more importantly for me, I wish there was real silverware for use during dine in. The individual slices are quite large and appropriately semi-floppy and very cheesy. In these types of situations, I much prefer to cut my pizza into smaller pieces and eat with a knife and fork. Plastic ones were provided but they really didn't get the job done with how chewy the sourdough crust was. Ultimately, these nitpicks are pretty small for me. I definitely look forward to stopping by in the future for a quick, simple, and delicious lunch or dinner!

Both of us think it's been at least 12 years since we ate at Big Ed's and they were located on the Memorial Parkway access road. The original location on Oakwood was there in the late 60's. We walked inside and it felt like walking into an oven about 10 degrees cooler than the outside feels like temp of 104. It was hot. There were 3 people at the bar and 7 sitting at 3 different tables. I ordered a large supreme pizza to go. We arrived home with the supreme and it was mostly warm. With all the people moving here, it takes much longer to get to many places these days quickly. Congestion is the norm. The crust was flavorful and chewy. The red sauce was good. As for toppings, they were good. I thought the pizza was light on toppings. I am used to Donatos pizza. They put a lot of toppings on more often than not. Between the two of us discussing the pros and cons, I determined 4/5. I could not taste pepperoni because it was thin. I could taste the sausage. I will return again since Dave has proclaimed Big Ed's his favorite.

Seriously tough call on the rating here. I think I'll settle on a 3 but it was super close to a 4,…read morejust several minor frustrations added up. I came here with one of my best friends who was home for Thanksgiving to have a girl's day out. BeeZr advertises a nice-looking brunch on the weekends so we thought we'd try it out. She wound up not being able to meet until later in the afternoon but I'm not opposed to a late brunch, so we got there around 1. It was a gray and dreary day on Thanksgiving weekend, so I get it being slow, but the restaurant was literally empty except for us and the servers. We joked it was because we'd rented the whole building to treat each other. The vibe is...fine inside. It definitely looks and feels more like a brewery than a restaurant, with large equipment and a sort of dimly lit atmosphere and a few large TVs by the nice bar. They have a small patio on the square which is REALLY lovely and definitely would've been my preference if the weather was nicer. Our server was okay. He was soft-spoken and not unpleasant, but did sort of have a knack for appearing at inopportune times during the conversation. I get that it's not always possible to avoid, but a little more discretion would've gone a long way, especially since we were the only ones in there. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. My biggest frustration was definitely the menu and item availability. I pre-read it and came knowing what I wanted (bananas foster French toast) only to discover that they were running a limited Thanksgiving weekend brunch menu and therefore it wasn't being offered that day. The first thing my friend ordered also wasn't available. I had my heart set on brunch so I asked for the breakfast burrito instead. Our waiter had to go check and make sure the kitchen could do it. Turns out they could - yay. But then I asked for potatoes to go with it -- and there were no breakfast potatoes available. I went with fries instead. When my burrito arrived at the table, there was no salsa or sour cream, which was supposed to come with it. Any component part of this experience is not a HUGE deal, but it all added up to be rather disappointing. My friend got the bulgogi tacos, which came in an order of two sort of small tacos. She liked them and said they were really good. She also got first a French mimosa and then a classic mimosa; I also had a classic mimosa. Both were generic but enjoyable. My breakfast burrito was decent, but I really missed the salsa and sour cream. The bacon inside was cut into tiny crunchy pieces, which I liked. The eggs were cooked very well but needed more salt and pepper. I enjoyed the bright burst of peppers and some were even a tiny bit spicy. It was a large serving but I wish it came with some side item instead of me having to order one. The side of fries was generous and they were really good -- super crispy but still fluffy inside. I thought the bill was a little high for 1 mimosa, a breakfast burrito, and fries -- almost $40. The burrito alone was $18, which seems like sooooo much for a brunch entree with no sides. Idk. Maybe I don't do mid-scale dining enough. Overall, I thought the quality of the food was solid enough that I'd consider returning, but I'd call ahead to see if they had what I wanted to avoid frustration.

We decided to check out Pane E Vino Pizzeria because me and the kids love pizza and we'd never been to this restaurant. Bottom line up front: this place was great! We were promptly seated out on the patio where we could people watch and enjoy the weather. Our drinks orders were taken promptly and we decided to order a few different pizzas. My daughter and I split the 16" Clemenza. It was was delicious -- the pepperoni and italian sausage pizza was great. I particularly enjoyed the thinly cut bell peppers (usually they are a tad raw and huge - these were very thinner sliced and cooked well). If you love sauce, I'd get some pizza sauce on the side to dip crust, that was the only downsides of the meal. The wife ordered the Da Vinci pizza which I was not a fan of; why would you order a pizza and then put a salad with balsamic vinegar on top? But she loved it and thought the pizza was very fresh. My youngest daughter got the kid's cheese pizza and it was awesome. It had great cheese pull and she scarred the whole thing. This was not one of those 'kids will eat whatever' meals, this was a great pizza in its own right. We got some Tiramisu to go and it was also delicious later at home. Our server, Danielle, was awesome. She was the only server on thr outdoor patio and she was super busy taking care of seven tables but our drinks never went empty and she was VERY attentive. If only all restaurants could have servers as good as Danielle I would be much happier when eating out. The pizza was great, a little on the pricier sode but worth it. Ingredients and food were good and service was excellent. Patio view in good weather was nice. Stop by and give them a shot!

Our waitress brought our menus, including a lunch menu! I love a lunch menu. My mom and I both ordered the lunch portion of the spaghetti carbonara. She enjoyed her sweet tea and I had a diet soda. The entrees come with a piece of garlic bread. I thought the portion size and price were both perfect for a lunch serving. The garlic toast was crispy and buttery. We enjoyed our spaghetti carbonara. It's not made with eggs and cheese in the traditional way, but instead uses Alfredo sauce, which is a little disappointing to me. I remain on the hunt for that kind of carbonara in Huntsville. Still, it was a good Alfredo sauce, the pasta was cooked well, and there were ample little bacon bits.
