Cozy place with outside seating and not too much inside seating. The bathrooms were clean, restaurant clean, the butcher side was nice. I don't like leaving reviews that aren't great, but I recommend not coming on a Saturday before 2pm. -they had ran out of a lot of things. We waited for so long to get a seat and when we finally sat we waited over an hour for food that was honestly "ok" All of our drinks were served in plastic cups, but other people had real glasses . It just seemed a little chaotic today for a Saturday and short on staff. Some of my party will probably Come back.

Had a great evening last night at the Boozy Pig in Tampa for a Wagyu & Bourbon tasting. This was the first event I've booked of theirs but I've enjoyed several meals here over the years and their fresh meats are always great quality. Tonight's Bourbon Tasting was put on by a local distributor for Bardstown Bourbon Company. This was my first time hearing of and sampling their spirits. We enjoyed an amazing welcome cocktail a Watermelon Smash made with cold smoked watermelon, lemon, lime, simple syrup, a splash of Topo Chico and Bardstown Straight Kentucky Bourbon. It was garnished with a piece of the cold smoked watermelon and I can say this is my new favorite way to enjoy watermelon. The smoke flavor truly elevated a summer treat. We enjoyed several pours of their different bourbons throughout the night, they sampled their Origin Series Bourbons including two Wheated and a Rye variant. We also enjoyed their Amrut release a wonder blend of 5 different bourbons aged between 8-14 years from Indiana and Kentucky. We were also treated to a couple higher proof single barrel releases that were a real delight. This was my first experience with Bardstown's Bourbons but if for sure won't be my last they were quite enjoyable. For dinner we started off with a great Charcuterie Board with house cured prosciutto, fennel salami and spreadable andouille, assorted cheeses and other tasty accompaniments. For the Wagyu sampling we had a Australian Wagyu with Japanese genetics and a local pasture raised Wagyu from RHN farms in Center Hill, FL both came out cooked perfectly and was accompanied by a ponzu & balsamic dipping sauce and a raw egg yolk. Each piece melted in our mouths and was such a perfect bite and the sauces just pushed it over the top. We also had an amazing Crab Mac & Cheese and Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus with a Hot Honey drizzle. To top off an amazing tasting and meal we were served dessert, Boozy Pig's housemade Bourbon Bread Pudding, with their homemade Icecream. This is one of the best desserts I've ever had it was amazing and I'm glad it's on their menu I'll be back for this again. This was an amazing event and we had a great time with some great people. This may have been my first event here but I will be back for many others in the future. They have a hog butchering demonstration coming up you need to check out.

A local butcher shop and kitchen, great place to pick up local processed smoked meat etc. from the shop side. The kitchen side I had the El Mixto their version of a Cuban, with house smoked meats. I am no purist, I am an old fat white guy from Pennsylvania. But this is one of the better Cuban sandwich renditions I have had in Tampa, it is a great mix of pig, smoke, and cheese, with some pickle and mustard to cut the richness of the Sandwich. Tucked away on a side street between Dale Marbury and the Bayshore in West Tampa, it nonetheless shows some of the good bones of Tampa. Is a place to stop on a bar crawl, no. But it has a good selection of house made sandwiches that reflect some of Tampa's character, and plenty of smoked pig; and a great lunch.

We've come here a few times since our first time and the one thing I wish is that they have other milk options for their coffee for those who are lactose intolerant and allergic to almonds. Other than that, service is always good and portions are huge. It can get loud especially when you get there later in the morning.

The most unassuming restaurant and butcher shop on W Cypress! They have excellent fresh meats, frozen sausages and cuts, fresh eggs, and more. Seriously obsessed with this place and the food from the restaurant portion has the most homemade feel to it. They do incorporate pork into a lot of the dishes, including beef tallow (hence the name), so be prepared for pork. The seating area isn't the biggest, but tables seem to turnover pretty quickly. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the food and the interior was cozy. Definitely an intimate space. Food: We ordered a cup of the soup of the day which was corn chowder. It did take a bit long for the soup to come out, but it was worth the wait. The Rocketman sandwich was delicious! From the bread to the pastrami and the kick from the kimchi. Overall a delicious sandwich. The fries came out super hot!! And crisp. But I did find the garlic Parmesan flavor to be underwhelming. Be sure to check out the butcher shop and all the other local products they source:)

Hillsborough Hash with brisket-so good - has potatoes and little pieces of platano. Also got a smashed burger with the best collar greens. It's called the Boozy Pig but it's BYOB. Definitely coming back.

We love the Boozy Pig, it has been a great addition to our midtown neighborhood. This is a family owned business that we love to support. We enjoy the weekend brunch. The Hillsborough Hash and blueberry ricotta pancakes cakes are delicious! If you are grilling the blue cheese burgers and steaks are far superior to any grocery store meats.

This is a foodie brunch spot. We ordered the double smash cheeseburger and the Cuban breakfast sandwich with chorizo and a french fries. It is a BYOB spot, which means you can bring your own beer and bubbly. They also have a butcher shop inside if you want to get any hand cut meats and they sell and whole pigs. What a lovely hidden gem. We go back.

The Boozy Pig 3255 W Cypress St, Tampa, FL 33607 @theboozypig The Boozy Pig is one of the top meat markets in Florida. This carnivorous hot spot is famous for its Italian Sausage, porterhouse steak, pork chops, and its weekend brunch. They currently operate their butcher shop and restaurant along with a Cafe. Everything there is fresh, grass fed, and natural. They have food selections that are local favorites, like the Mixto Cuban Sandwich and the Boozy Burger. Thier Chicharrón are Crunchy and Tasty. Come by and check them out and enjoy fresh cut meats and delicious food.

I can't believe it was my first time here and now I want to come back every week! The food is excellent and there are many other things on their menu I want to try. The fries are some of the best I've ever had. It was really busy there so service was a little slow. It's small inside so if you catch them at a busy time, then you might have to wait a bit. It's really cute inside and I like that they have bar seating as well. There's also a full service butcher shop. Check their hours because they're not open every day.

Knuckle Sangwich and Breakfast Burger with french toast bun!
    Isabella C.

Great service, great food, but unfortunately just a tad overpriced. They were out of a lot of menu items, including bacon for my breakfast sandwich, which broke my heart a little and I was charged full price for a sandwich missing a key ingredient. However the french toast bun was delicious! If your budget for delicious food is infinite I recommend dining here!

We decided to try The Boozy Pig for lunch today. The minute we walked in we liked this place. The Boozy Pig is a restaurant/butcher shop. They sell their own meats you can purchase at their butcher shop connected to the restaurant. We were quickly seated and served. I tried their cappuccino and really enjoyed it, they serve local coffee from a coffee roaster in Ybor which I love! We both tried their 'Knuckle Snagwich' and thoroughly enjoyed them. It was packed with flavor and juicy. One sandwich is big enough to share with two. We added a side of their fries which were delicious. We'd love to come again to buy some of their meats and try their breakfast. Highly recommend. The store is simply decorated, their focus is good food which I love! They did have a nice outdoor seating area too! @living.with.reg

Finally checked out Boozy Pig as I came here for brunch. The staff and server were super friendly and gave that cafe vibes. They also have outdoor patio seating too. I ordered the breakfast burger and thought it was okay, maybe because I didn't realize the patty was sausage instead of beef ( should've read it carefully). The side of chorizo gravy was really good! The burger was really good and the pancakes. The Smoked cheddar biscuit was okay. It wasn't a real biscuit as it was more like cornbread. I was expecting the typical biscuit but overall not bad. What I ordered: - BREAKFAST BURGER: 5oz breakfast sausage patty on a toasted brioche bun with a slice of bacon and a fried egg with smoked cheddar. Served with a side of chorizo gravy - BOOZY BURGER:4oz grass-fed beef patties with blue cheese and caramelized onions on a toasted brioche bun with housemade bourbon bacon jam and arugula - LEMON RICOTTA PANCAKES: 2 fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with homemade blueberry jam and lemon ricotta. served with maple syrup - SMOKED CHEDDAR BISCUIT: Freshly baked in house-made warm biscuit w/ homemade blueberry jam

Started with a dozen Massachusetts oysters served on a raised plate over a rack -- fresh, with a proper mignonette (not just cocktail sauce) and tiny precision spoons for dosing it. Small detail, made a real difference. The 7oz A5 Wagyu filet is the move if you're willing to spend. It practically dissolves. The waiter talked me into adding roasted Wagyu bone marrow on the side rather than on the steak itself -- no clear winner between eating it with or without, which tells you the steak alone was already doing the work. My friend's 8oz Prime disappeared just as fast at the table. Crispy Brussels sprouts and a smoked-carrot daily special both held their own as sides, though nothing was going to outshine the meat. Dessert: the Flaming Key Lime Pie, torched and tequila-flamed tableside. Genuine theater, and it actually tasted as good as it looked -- key lime custard, torched meringue, coconut gelato, passionfruit and white chocolate running through it. Bonus points for the manager who, when asked about their oddly perfect stay-cool teacups, admitted without hesitation they'd bought them off Amazon. No pretense, just good taste. Only real knock: it's loud. Great for a group, tough for a first date if conversation matters. Everything else here delive

While the selection was large, the quality wasn't there. For instance, the meat in the fried rice was overcooked. The pork belly tasted as if it was sitting there for a while. Shrimp salad had good flavor but too many shells in the salad. Roasted garlic was still crunchy/not cooked through. Few of the signs were mislabeled. The bacon covered jalapeño poppers were labeled as brown sugar bacon. That completely took me by surprise because it was quite HOT!
