Went on a Saturday night. Followed the directions that social media posted. Went to the secret door from the parking lot. Walked up the stairs, knocked on the door. No one answered. We only got in because an employee was exiting to replenish ice. Not sure why they would advertise that entrance if they weren't going to monitor it. Also, the service was HORRENDOUS. It took us 45 minutes just to get a drink. We would have left, but we had already paid for the drinks, so we waited for them. I ordered the smoked old fashioned. It did not come out smoked. As I was passing through the narrow isle to use the restroom, I tapped the shoulder of an older bald man and said excuse me. He turned around and loudly called exclaimed how rude I was. I said "EXCUSE ME? I was just trying to get by." Then someone at the table he was talking to said, "This is the owner" and they all laughed. I'm not sure if that was the owner or not, but he was extremely drunk and rude. Also, the overhead string lights flicker nonstop, so if you are triggered by flashing lights, this will bother you. I'm not sure if this is bad wiring or supposed to mimic the electrical issues during prohibition. Overall, terrible experience and I will not be back. This could have been such a cool experience.

Rolled in to the covered part of the outdoor patio with the pup in tow and were seated at a table in the corner. It was chilly outside and the heated towers and window covers were a welcome sight. We were greeted and welcomed by nearly everyone there (the pup is a cutie but still) and got a bucket of water for her and drinks for the humans. Service was friendly and personable and our waitress knew the menu well We had the turtle mound platter, steamed oysters, clams, shrimp (rock and pinks) and snow crab served with cocktail, horseradish, drawn butter and their version of old bay which was all delicious. We also had the steamed veggies with blue crab and cheese, we were kinda skeptical but it was awesome. The crab cake was also good, little filler and mostly crab and the dirty rice was well seasoned. It's a drive for us, but I think we will be back!

Took my friends from out of town for the 1st time. Great choices for appetizers, had the gator nuggets and lobster bites. Both were delicious and highly recommend. I tried Hogfish for the 1st time. .The crab spinach dip with homemade chips were fantastic.Perfectly prepared and Gouda grits were so Gouda! The tropical slaw was one of the best ever. My one friend had the Jonah crabs which surprisingly were difficult to crack and meat fell apart. Recommend getting a smaller sturdy fork. The other had the stuffed flounder which was excellent. Highly recommend this place, great food. Service and ocean view to boot. Also one of the few restaurants that take reservations. The mahi-mahi was so dry and the tacos hardly had any flavor.

They were all very good. I went to Chase's a few times. A couple times walking off the beach to have a beer at their beach bar that kind of dangles over the beach. There I met 2 excellent and attentive bartenders. Billy and Katie are great. Making sure everyone is aware of the specials with a quick wit and totally enjoying their jobs. I noticed that the food delivered to patrons around me looked really good. Good prices with a great view of the ocean. A great beach bar. Saturday night I came back for dinner at their inside restaurant. Excellent valet parking. Newly remodelled and bright upscale restaurant. Kayla was super friendly. My fish sandwich (sheepshead) was prepared perfectly with a good portion. We also had the bruschetta appetiser, it was also good. Service makes a restaurant great.

We had lunch entrees - I had the surf and turf tacos which were just okay, a bit dry with lots of a seasoning. The ahi wontons looked really creatively prepared. Service from Gabrielle was decent - she did have a lot of tables to handle on a busy Saturday. With tip and tax and drinks, pricing average about $50 per person all in. While the restaurant does have a parking lot, it does get busy on weekends - We parked directly across the street at a dirt lot. I'd recommend, and certainly go back when looking for a fun hangout.

The outside seating is lovely, relaxing, and wonderfully quiet--perfect for a peaceful dinner. However, the inside seating gets incredibly noisy and loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation. We highly recommend requesting a table on the patio to enjoy this phenomenal meal in the fresh air.
