This was a super cute place. I was looking forward to visiting for months and it didn't disappoint! The atmosphere was perfect with music and the perfect aesthetics. Service was amazing with very kind and friendly staff. The cocktails were delicious and presented beautifully. The desserts were amazing too. I got the lemon tart and my friend got the apple pie. Both so delicious. I did my math wrong and didn't leave a correct tip. I feel so badly. Next time I visit I will make sure the staff receive the tip they deserve. So sorry. read more

I've been here twice now, and to be quite honest, their non-alcoholic drinks are okay. Do yourself a favor and have the fruity cocktails! My friends and I came here on a random night and I had the Super Kitty, my other friend had the Picture Perfect, and there was another seasonal holiday drink (that I can't remember for the life of me what it was called). Super Kitty (4/5): This thing got me HAMMERED. There was rum, mezcal, yellow chartreuse in this thing, and I was sent (I mean, for $20, it better have me floored). Picture Perfect (4/5): It was pretty fruity. Tasted like strawberries and had popping boba in it. Comes with a polaroid! Super cute. Honestly, I wouldn't really come back to pay $20 a drink when I could go to other bars, but this was a cute experience that I didn't mind paying for the novelty of it all. read more

The Bow Room is pricey and will run you about $14-18 per drink, but it's worth a visit because the cafe is so unique! Reserve ahead of time via Yelp for easiest experience. Peak hours are tough because the Bow Room is quite small. Matcha Whiskey: my favorite. Not too sweet, comes with macaron! Bow Room Magic: so aesthetic, lights up! This is actually aesthetically pleasing. I'm a huge hello kitty fan and this was something I wanted to do for a while now. It is $60 per person. But you have to first check to see if there's any reservations for dates you want to be able to go, if not you can always put yourself and a waiting list to see if there any last minute cancellations. We went for afternoon tea and was pretty surprise in how good the tea was(and got the jasmine tea) and the little pastries they give you along with ur tea actually fill you up lol I do recommend it. This place is okay, if you are super into hello kitty then it's probably a must see, but if you're not that into it just go to a regular bar. The staff are super friendly, and I recommend making reservations for it. It's drinks only, no food, and they are all mixed, sweet drinks. They have about 15 signature cocktails, price range is $16-25 per drink. They have a couple drinks where you can take home a hello kitty mug, and one that lights up. I probably wouldn't go again, I'd rather go to Dave & Busters where it's cheaper and more fun. read more

This place is wonderful. I've been here twice now and have really enjoyed the experience. The drinks are very tasty and the staff is super friendly. The only unfortunate thing is the time limit they place on you. The first time I went, they weren't as strict about it, but they will ask you to leave after the time limit of they are busy. I think it's like 75 minutes or 90 or something. In any case, I think it's still worth a visit if you're in the Irvine area and are into speakeasies and the color pink. I can't remember if they let you enter without a reservation, but even if they do, I still strongly recommend making a reservation ahead of time as it gets pretty busy. read more

Definitely worth doing once but that's about it. It is a cute little spot to grab a drink and catch up with an old friend. However my boyfriend and I were expecting something way different. Staff was great though- very friendly, attentive, and professional. There is like "afternoon tea" here from 11-4 which is kid friendly. However, in the evening it's 21+ only, so bring your ID. I haven't experienced the afternoon tea yet. Drinks are overpriced but hey what do you expect? 2 drinks set us back almost 50$ (18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill). I didn't mind the 18% gratuity being automatically added to my bill because service was great. I ordered the picture perfect it came with the cutest little picture of my boyfriend and I clipped onto it. My boyfriend got the super kitty (it was definitely strong!). Sadly you don't get to keep the cute cups the drinks come in. Drinks were very good though. Overall it was a great experience I just don't think I'd do it again. This time around the food was at best mediocre. The server took our tea spoons after our starter and failed to replenish them so we had to stir our tea with forks . I had to ask for cream and the very limited selection of tea was served in tea bags . High Tea with tea bags . At a price of $60 a person for High Tea it was no better than going anywhere and having hot tea . This place is super cute! Found this by accident, it is in the back of the Hello Kitty Cafe. Don't let the atmosphere fool you - the drinks are strong and really good. I tried the old fashioned drink and it was probably the best I've had. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about their craft and very nice. We will definitely be back!
