Got the special and it was a tiny piece of sea bass. Like single person appetizer size and it was $45!!!! Also they need some sound absorbing material in there. They did a beautiful job redoing the place but it's insanely loud!!!! Wait staff and hostess were very nice. Not sure if we will go back anytime soon. read more

Employees did not have control of the patrons. People were allowed to hover the bar and reach between those who had a bar seat to order and get drinks. Not a good experience for those that enjoy sitting at the bar. I like the idea of people being allowed to get a drink while they wait, but it should have a designated spot at the bar for ordering and a specific waiting area for those people to have their drink. read more

Terrible customer service. We were on a 30-40 minute wait and a father and son came in who were "friends" of a lot of the staff and they bumped them ahead of everyone. The manager approved the seating because it was her sons friend and he said they had been here an hour (not true). Good food but definitely a "who you know mom and pop" Very disappointed in the customer service. **the manager did apologize and gave our party a free appetizer. read more

We stopped here for take out while on a boat, 10 of us walked in and quickly realized it wasn't exactly an order and take out place. The Hostess who seemed very young and polite went to go get the manager to help her out and let me start by saying the manager was absolutely phenomenal!! He took all of our orders, was funny, very nice, they also had a bar tender approach us and took our drink orders which we hadn't planned on getting drinks but knew we were going to be waiting a little bit for our food so we all got a drink. Drinks were in our hands within 5 minutes and the food was to us in 15-20 minutes, the food was excellent, the drinks were really good. I usually never write reviews (good or bad) but this was a great experience and the staff was very very friendly and helpful! I will be back because you don't get great staffing like that many places. read more

We were disappointed in this restaurant which is new to the area. The wooden chairs are incredibly uncomfortable, and the noise level is way too loud. You couldn't talk to anyone other than the person next to you and to do that you almost have to shout. What is the point in going out to dinner with friends if you can't have a conversation? The clam chowder was good as were the fried oysters. The duck confit sandwich was completely missing the wind reduction sauce it was supposed to have. The Cole slaw is excellent. The fries were tasty but not crispy - which may be the way they want it? If we go again we will bring our own cushions for the chairs and only go when it is only half full - may the noise level would be OK then. read more

Brand new place just opened recently in the space by the NH Marine Patrol. Pretty small so the wait in the summer is probably going to be pretty long. It is also extremely loud. Outstanding bar with a great view. Our service was excellent and the meal was good but not great. Solid four stars and we will return from time to time. read more

Thought we'd try this new restaurant. So lucky we walked in and got a high top at window with view! A Plus. Decor and atmosphere are fun. Our waitress was extremely curt. We were so hurried. Barely had a sip of our drink and our appetizers were out. Delicious oysters and calamari. Dinner followed as those plates were cleared. Had asked for water, waitress forgot and when asked again she was put out. Brought one water, didn't think of asking did anyone else want any. So of course when asked again, clearly aggravated with us. Food was fair. The place was busy appeared to have enough help. Bill came and had over 200.00 more in food on the tab. Waitress apologetic. Would we try again? I'd give it one more shot. But if your reading this, the point of going to dinner is to have time to talk, sip a cocktail and eat leisurely. read more

The service here was terrible. They seem only to cater to the Iocals they know. We ordered the seafood platter which turned out to be a French fry platter with a minimal amount of seafood. One shrimp and one scallop. The waiter said each shrimp cost $9.00. Really. The waiter paid no attention to us because we weren't locals. I'll never go back here again. read more

Terrible...noisiest place we've ever dined. Tables have no lake view....one can just see the lake from the noisy bar! New owners did a lousy job of renovating! It was a very nice place to enjoy a lovely meal and view for past 20-25 years. We will not be back and have told many local friends how bad it was. Sorry, it is what it is. read more

I love to go out to eat. The breeze has now become my favorite place to eat. It has a beautiful lake view. The Staff is more than help full when ask to taste a sauce they were right there with the sample. I have had 3 dishes and they were a foodie's dream. I have not yet been disappointed. read more

we decided to try the Bree's restaurant for anniversary. We are lucky enough to get the one table that is seated by the window to have the beautiful view of the lake. The drinks were very good and the service was excellent. We ordered the hot artichoke dip for an appetizer and it came out almost cold and the bread that went with it was very hard. I had the salmon which was over cooked and very dry with a little flavor the jasmine rice that came with it again had no flavor and we were served four pieces of over cooked asparagus. My husband had the duck and the sauce was very good but the texture of the duck seem like it had been frozen. He also had jasmine rice with no flavor and four over cooked pieces of asparagus. We also found the dessert menu to be very limited. Maybe will try it again in the future and just ordered the wrong things. We were disappointed because this restaurant is very close to our house. read more

Had lunch at the Breeze restaurant with great expectations today, I ordered the fried haddock sandwich which I ended up eating with a spoon. The roll was saturated with tomatoes and lettuce, and fell apart, only two bites of fish, the rest of the plate was filled with French fries. I walked away hungry. So happy we stumbled upon this gem! Our server Reese was wonderful and very welcoming. The food was fantastic, my husband got the duck and was very happy with it! I got a steak salad and was equally pleased. We wish we lived closer so we could come back more! Very pretty view. We liked sitting in the enclosed porch area as it was a bit quieter. One of the worst dining experiences in a while. After waiting 50 minutes for our entrees, the waitress stopped by and said our meals would be out in a few minutes. Another 20 minutes went by with no sign of our food and again she stopped by and said it would be a few more minutes. From where I was sitting, I had a direct view into the kitchen and could see that they were not prepping or plating our meals. We were one of the first tables to be seated and the last to be served. It was obvious that she forgot our food order or they sent someone to the seacoast to purchase the seafood! We ordered 2 seafood saffron dishes, panko haddock and mussels. A few more minutes went by and one of my dining companions complained to the hostess because at that point, our server was avoiding us. The hostess said she would bring us some bread, since we were hungry and would comp our meals. Then the waitress came over and plopped clam chowder in front of me like she was doing me a favor and I told her that I could not eat that. She then said, "What can I get you to make you happy?" I said, "How about the meal I ordered, where is our food!" She scurried off without comment and it was another 10-15 minutes before our meals arrived while all the tables around us were leaving. If I had my own car, I would have left. I was tempted to call Patrick's Pub to see if they would deliver! The food arrived exactly one hour and 35 minutes after we ordered (2 hours after we sat down). The mussels were bland and over-cooked, the crostini was hard as a rock, but I was starving after sitting there for 2 hours without food. The seafood saffron dishes had a different flavor and next to no lobster. The haddock was small, but OK. So disappointed in the whole experience (noise level, no view, service). Had the server just admitted she forgot our order (everyone makes mistakes) or they ran out of food we could have decided whether to stay or not. It's always better to under promise and over deliver. I could accept a mistake but detest being lied to and strung along. At least the hostess made amends by comping our entrees, but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth! read more
