Stopped in one evening mid-week after work (between 6 & 7). Had called in my order ahead of time for pickup. Food was ready when I arrived about fifteen minutes later. Everyone was nice and friendly. Location for pickups inside the restaurant is in a weird place, and you have to walk through the seating area to get to it. I imagine if they were crowded, it would be an issue. That evening, there were hardly any customers. I ordered lasagna which comes with a salad, and a cupcake for dessert. When I arrived, I was told they were out of cupcakes, so I ordered a slice of lemon cake with raspberry sauce. Price was $20-ish, which I didn't think was bad at the time. Food: The salad (with ranch dressing) was delicious! Extremely tasty. Unfortunately, it was only about 5 small bites. If you've ever ordered a side salad at Chick-Fil-A, that would make two of these salads size-wise. But again, taste was awesome. Lasagna was good. It tasted strongly of sausage--like you really noticed the sausage flavor in every bite. Size wise, it was about a 1/3 less than the size of the lasagna portion at Olive Garden. It was very cheesy, sauce had a good flavor, and the pasta was great...just too sausage-y. The lemon cake might have tasted good, but I couldn't tell because it was drenched/soaked in raspberry sauce. The raspberry sauce did not have a good flavor, and the bottom half of the cake was soaked with it. In addition, the cake container closed, but it wasn't made to seal, so on the way home, it leaked raspberry sauce over everything in the bag. The meal was okay, and I will try them one more time (I heard the pizza's are delicious). But my recommendations to the owner are: 1) Stop using styrofoam food trays (cake). They're bad for the environment and for humans. You order high quality produce, but ruin it by using inferior to-go containers. Plus, I didn't like having to clean all the containers of sticky raspberry sauce before I could eat once I got home. 2) Increase portion size. I'll pay more if the food is good, but I want to feel comfortably full when I finish eating. 3) Move the to-go pick up station. I shouldn't have to navigate through the seating area to get my food. If nothing else, have your hostesses handle the transactions. It's just a strange place to put it. A larger portion size would have increased this rating from a 3 to a 4 star review. But $20+ for a small entree/salad and a ruined dessert was too much. read more

I've had worse. However, if you brag about having at 950 degree oven why does your pizza come out cold and undercooked? Oh wait it's because it's really set at 750. Maybe cover the temperature gauge on the oven. The building is nice, servers are not so great. Our table had not been wiped off when we were seated. Half the menu is striked through with sharpie. Don't come unless you're willing to spend 2 hours waiting for your food and check. read more

Came here for the first time today. What a wonderful experience! Brickery salad which was phenomenal and white chicken pizza. Comparable to any food you would find for twice the price in a larger city. Salad had cuke, peppers, red onion, mozzarella plus seasonal fruit! Everything healthy in one bowl. Pizza had white meat chicken, bacon and red onion. Not "garlicky". Mom had a slice of pepperoni with 12 pepperoni slices! Prices are good. Service is pleasantly excellent! we have loved this place since early summer 2022 but something has gone terribly wrong! maybe they fired the cook?? last 2 times we went the pizza was dough and a little cheese. last night we got takeout so I went with their award winning lasagna. it was awful!!! So sad. read more

Today was our first time here. My son and I decided to try it for lunch. I asked for a slice of pizza and asked to add veggies. I was told they can't do that. I had to get a slice of cheese pizza which was good. I asked to substitute a Greek side salad for the regular side salad and they agreed. The Greek salad was very good. My son really liked his slice of pepperoni pizza. The service was not good at all. We had to ask for our drinks when we were halfway done eating. The place was pretty full of people. We will wait awhile and try this place again. I wish they would add vegetable options to their menu. I also wish they would add crushed red pepper to the tables. read more

We waited in the lobby for 15 minutes with several other couples and the hostess never talked to us or even acknowledge we were there. And we finally asked them to check us in it was if we inconvenienced them. Very rude front staff! Some customer service training for the staff would be very helpful. If could give zero stars for this restaurant I would. So here we the place looks very nice and clean. Everything we wanted to Order they did not have how in the hell do you out of macaroni noodles. There is a grocery store down road and this is at 5:00 pm when they open for dinner. No spinach dip so we ordered pizza and spaghetti and meatballs with a side of Alfredo sauce. Pizza was not bad. Meatballs were served cold like the Alfredo sauce . How do you let it go customers. I finally told the waitress to stop apologizing she did not cook the food or stock the place. Today my aunt and grandmother came down to Jackson to visit so I suggested trying the new pizza joint. The building is beautiful and new. The salads were a joke (but for $2.99 you get what you pay for) smallest little salad ever. Pizza was good it's not really NY style at all. But, I did enjoy the pizza and would probably come back for that. What I did not like was the service. They have hired young girls that do not know what is going on. Our server did not know anything about the menu when we asked questions. In fact to had to look at my menu because she did not know how to answer. All the servers were very young. Upon leaving my grandmother has Parkinson's and is in a wheel chair. The girl at the front was standing there twiddling her thumbs and another server was at the post. Instead of telling us goodbye, please come back, or you know being polite and helping us with the door while we push out the wheel chair instead they just looked didn't say a word and went back to doing nothing. Hire better staff! I've been in customer service for years and the service sucked. read more

I visited to get my child which has celiac a gluten free pizza. I was so excited to have somewhere close that sold it. After getting the pizza, walked out checked pizza. It was overcooked. I took pizza in. The cashier agreed and asked me if I wanted a refund or another pizza. So she took the pizza to the back. This tall white guy came out and was very rude. He told me the pizza is suppose to be like that I told him it was so hard on bottom. You cant eat it. He took it slung it on the table and told me they wasn't fixing me another one or giving me a refund. Couldn't believe he was so rude to me. I wasn't rude to him so why did he act like that. There were even customers in there eating. Don't know if he was the manager or not. But I will never go back as long as he is there. I lost $14 but they also lost a customer. Omg !! I love love love this pizza!! The story behind this restaurant and the decor is awesome!! I live in Florida and I am sad I won't be able to eat here again until the next time I visit you must check out the bathroom so cute. Oh, and there is a Koi fish pond too. First time patron born and raised on the east coast. I have had pizza all over the world and now in Jackson Georgia. I can tell you that this is not even close to New York style pizza. The crust was slightly doughy, the cheese was extremely salty. I make better pizza at home. The owners should travel to New York and compare their pizza to what they advertise. read more

Atmosphere was very friendly and nice decor. We were seated at 8:00pm and received our 5 orders at the rate of one every 20 to 30 minutes. Our waitress explained she was sorry and that somehow our last two orders hadn't gotten into the oven at first but should be ready in another 5 minutes. I noticed our waitress chatting with someone at the bar for about 15 mins, then after 20 mins when she brought out my Calzone it was barely warm inside and dried out, looked like it had been out of the oven for at least 20 minutes. Every other table in the room had eaten by this time. At this point I ordered a to-go box and the manager. Manager was very apologetic explaining that they were very busy in the kitchen, at which point I explained to her with lousy service like we had received after a few more days like that they would not be busy at all. In about 5 more minutes our last order came out and we got a to-go box for it and left. We will NOT BE BACK. Food was at best mediocre. Manager gave a pittance of a discount for our ruined dinner experience and we left NO tip. I hate leaving no tip, but the service we received was inexcusable. I predict they will not be in business long if they do not learn to operate properly. They need to call in Gordon Ramsey. read more

My wife and I have been here several time, and several times with other couples. We have experienced slow service but the food was always good. The servers are not well trained and have often forgotten part of our order ( on more than one occasion)) but again the food is good so we chalked it up to working kinks out of a new restaurant. Last night was the straw that broke the camel's back. We ordered our meal and the server started talking to a couple at the next table. After 20 minutes or so my wife said I think the waitress has forgotten about our order, the waitress continued her conversation and after about 30 minutes of this she went and got our COLD dinner. We liked this place even with the poor service but after the owner told us that this was her one of her best servers, we knew that the business will fail shortly. They will never see another dime of our money, very poor management or rather mis-management! read more

We were a party of 6 and when we arrived no one was at the door to seat us. No one acknowledge us. After about 5 minutes a young lady did seat us in the lower area. After we were seated we waited and watched as people at two other tables who arrived after us got their drinks and we had yet to have a server speak to us. After about 20-30 minutes of waiting, I finally had to flag down a young man and ask for someone to wait on us. He took our drink order and an order garlic knots. I could see him then talking to several servers and it appears as if no one knew who should be our server. Finally a waitress did come to our table. She never smiled, never acknowledge or apologized that we had waited so long. She took our order but was not familiar with the menu when we asked questions. We then got our drinks. After another long wait and know out of drinks we had to go up to the bar and ask for a pitcher or root beer to get refills. Our food came out eventually but not all at once. At this point we are told they just put in the order for the garlic knots, evidently they forgot to put them in, and were told there were a lot of orders for them and were backed up so we cancelled them. The food was good and we did finally get to enjoy it. Our waitress refilled one person's drink one time. At this point I'm very disappointed in the service and while I was planning on leaving a tip it was not going to be a typical 15% to 20% tip. When I received the check a 20% gratuity was already added in. I told the waitress to take it off and I did not leave anything at that point. I spoke to the manager on the way out. While he said he was sorry I didn't think he really was concerned that we got poor service. I've been to the Brickery twice before once in the upper area and once in the lower. The upper area service then was fine. The previous time in the lower area it was not great but not this poor. The food is good but I will not return. They've been open long enough to figure out how they should be serving but it did not appear those in the lower dining area knew what they were doing. In all we were there over 2 hours. read more
