I went for my bday brunch last year and the food was amazing! I had to sit outside because it was pretty packed but the food was worth it.

I love this place!!! Basically everything on the menu is worth trying. The hardest part of placing an order is deciding which thing you want because it's all amazing. Check the hours ahead of time though because they aren't open all week and covid has really messed with their hours. Also know that they don't take American Express so bring another form of payment. If you get there early in the day check out their specials, they serve it until they run out so if you go for lunch you may miss the item of the day. read more

This was my first trip to this spot. I met with two friends for a meeting on a Wednesday, late morning. We were sat right away, and it was really nice to be sat before a whole party arrived, as one of us was running a little behind. Our waitress was very kind, accommodating, and did not rush us to leave the table after we completed our meal. I sure this would be different if there were a wait. Towards the end of our meal, we did have to wait a while for our check, not sure if it was intentional to allow us to continue visiting, if she was busy with other tables, or if she forgot. The biscuit casserole was absolutely delicious. I almost finished my entire meal. There was so much food with so much flavor that I won't need to eat anything else for the rest of the day. I tried the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict as well and it was very tasty, but RICH. If you like pork belly, this is the dish for you, but the potatoes were a little dry and lacked seasoning. Another person ordered the biscuit with fried green tomatoes and egg whites. The biscuit is very large in size, but was a little on the dry side. I don't this is the usually case, as I have heard wonderful things about the biscuits. I wish I could give 4.5 star because there were such subtle things, but alas it was not "perfect". I went with the eggs Benedict which was absolutely amazing. I ate every single bit of my meal which really was more food than I needed, but when it's that good you find the room. This rating is done not on food, but rather the Service and the attitude of the Hostess at the Restaurant on the day. We arrived on Thursday on the late side for Brunch or Lunch. There were a couple of empty tables on the outside when we arrived. While my husband parked the car, I went in to get a table ourselves a table. A young face, assumed she was the hostess, asked - how many? 2! She grabbed two menus and started looking towards the back of the Restaurant. She didn't give the choice of outside or indoor seating. So I asked to be seated outside on the patio. She gave me a look and said "let me check and see if there's any table". There were two small tables available at each side of the entrance. I asked for the one that looks into some plants; she said no, the other table because of the Server arrangement. So I sat down at the one she wanted me to sit; and then my husband joined me. I started smelling funny smell, and started feeling not comfortable looking into the dead spider in some cob web at the corner of the siding wall when I looked at my husband side; the siding was also dirty with splatter of unknown brown dirts. Our waitress started bringing our drinks. I asked if she would serve us at another table with a view of the little greens on the side which was just vacated. There was also another bigger table for four available next to it. She pleasantly said she would, but she would go in and check. Before she came back, I saw the hostess who seated me in the first place. Thinking she might be the person the Waitress was checking with, I waved her over and asked to be transfer to the other table. She asked why? I told her that I didn't feel comfortable sitting at that spot. She asked further "what are you uncomfortable about?" At that point, I was really upset that she was trying to be difficult. I told her the reason why and pointed out that 3 tables were left empty since I sat, and I like to be transferred, and pointed to the table. She said she couldn't move us there because she had a waiting list. What Waiting List, my gosh! It was passed 1pm going into 1:30pm at the time we were going through all those exchanges, and there was nobody before me when I was seated. She was so difficult, so we expressed that we would leave if they would not accommodate us. At that point, she said she would go and check with her Manager. And of course she never returned. Another Waitress came, did not apologize either, but said that she would be happy to move us over to the other table. Bu that time, all the mood and goodwill were gone. If we were not really hungry, we would have walked away. Anyway, all and all, a very unpleasant experience; it was very rude, disrespectful and so obvious of the Hostess of the Restaurant, trying to be difficult with me. I do not understand what the big deal was and the attitude given. I had not come across anything that rude since I moved here 2 years ago. Is it because I am a senior, a female? Or because I'm Asian? I will not border to spend my money at Brunch Apothecary. I refuse to go back! read more

This place!!!! I mean its just great!!! I really enjoyed my meal here. Both me and my husband were surprised by how fresh and homemade everything tasted. Staff were really friendly and attentive. The place is small but its cute. I am definitely going back and trying the whole menu. The country fried steak was tender and full of flavor. I've been here more than a dozen times. There are limited brunch places in the area and this place does it right for the most part. My only complaint is depending on the server, there may be a delay in getting what you need. For example, one time I asked for s straw and it took me asking another server to get it because mine was serving other tables and forgot. And then when I was ready for the check, I waited 20 minutes one time. Again, doesn't happen 98% of the time, but there are those servers that don't care. But don't let that deter you in trying this place. They have lots or southern favorites like steak and eggs, biscuits with eggs or chicken, but my two favorites are their chicken and waffles and grapefruit brule'. The guava butter is delightful and the churro waffles are out of this world. Think best churro you ever had made into a brunch food, yum! If you're in the mood for something light, get the grapefruit. They don't have many drink options, but if you want a coffee, try the nitro coffee. read more

This place was such a gem! Unique and charming with great service. My husband and I got one of the day's specials - a fried chicken sandwich on waffles. The chicken was fried perfectly, still juicy, with a flavorful breading. Waffles were fluffy and slightly sweet and the house-made chow chow was PERFECT! I could have eaten just that for all three meals that day! We also split their tomato salad with fried green tomatoes and a light house honey vinaigrette, which was a great compliment to everything else on the plate. My husband enjoyed a black coffee and I tried one of their whipped coffees with oat milk and caramel - a serous treat. I've had two visits both during the week and each time it gets better. First visit I went with a special biscuit and parm truffle potatoes. The special biscuit was fried pork, bacon , pimento cheese and arugula with a bacon jam. The biscuit was light buttery and amazing , the insides were all seasoned well and cooked perfect , I also got a brownie and a angel food cupcake to go ( full disclosure my 8 year old took the brownie to school but looked amazing ) potatoes were also very good but I learned on my second visit the hard town casserole is the winning potato. My second visit I tried a chicken biscuit with a side of gravy and the hash brown casserole, this was so good I was slightly angry cause how do I try anything else knowing this is there and at the ready.
