Good food! Local. Not a lot of parking but there's a shopping plaza beside it so I was able to park there and just walk. Last weekend was our second time and we tried something different. So far, all delicious! The service was pleasant. The ambiance is nice-- it's in a small old house so it's tight but it works. Note for my future self: their lemonade is pink lemonade but still good with their sweet tea! We will be back!

It's not a secret this is THE place for brunch. Wait time can be as long as an hour or longer. They take your number and text you when table is ready. The food tates incredible, like out of mama's kitchen. Heaping serving of menu items and includes daily specials. Ordered their version of eggs Benedict. Creative and cooked to perfection. Worth the wait!

Upon arrival there was a bit of a wait as they don't accept reservations. We waited about 20 minutes. The restaurant was buzzing with a good amount of people. It is a bit tight inside but it wasn't uncomfortable. The server was attentive even though it was a Sunday and there were many guests. The food came out in a timely manner and everything was delicious. Pro tip: ask about the specials of the day. Would recommend having brunch here!

Visited GA from out of town and came here for a Sunday brunch. It was a super cute restaurant and the service was great. The portion sizes were huge and everything tested great! They won't seat your table until everyone is present in your party. There is both outdoor and indoor seating available. A great spot for a casual brunch!

The wait for a table is well worth it. Leslie and Natalie were very patient helping us with our order and bringing out our food promptly. The fried green tomatoes were real good as well as the waffles, fried chicken and bacon. The biscuits were buttery, flaky enough to be soft and hold together for the jelly to be spread. This was such an enjoyable brunch from the reservation, wait, service and food. Make sure you come early enough to select one of the specials that seem to go quickly. I would like to recommend those that bus the table not to wipe food from the table on the floor for the server to sweep up later. It's just not a good look to eat while trash is on the floor until the server has a chance to sweep.

This is a great spot. Maybe the best breakfast in Gwinnett County. I've never had a bad meal here. Whatever you order, make sure it includes their fried chicken. Forget about the run down house. Forget about the little hostess with attitude and just enjoy their great southern style breakfast! Buttery grits, fresh fruit in honey yogurt, cat head biscuits and the best fried chicken this side of Atlanta!

I had ordered my food to go and it was my first time getting a biscuit/sandwich from here. It tasted amazing and the service was quick.

We got a to-go order for my aunt's birthday brunch. When we went to pick up, the line was out the door, so My hopes were high. NOTHING disappointed! I tried the shrimp and grits. 10! I also tried the chicken salad with the zucchini bread. 10! I love going places and trying new things, but most of all being pleasantly surprised. I forgot to take pics of most of the items, but I managed to snap one of my shrimp & grits. This restaurant does not take reservations, so be prepared to get there early or wait. It's worth it though.

Came in for Father's Day and definitely recommend getting there BEFORE they open to avoid the long lines and large crowd! Parking: plenty of parking behind and adjacent to the restaurant. Service: quick and attentive service. Ambiance is like an old home so it's cozy, quiet, and intimate. Good for a small breakfast party or even a small group. Drink: I tried the whipped coffee. Definitely a unique offering I've never seen presented this way! Wish there was a good way to mix this up and would've preferred a tad more sweetness. Novel offering either way. Food: I got one of the specials. It was just okay! By the time I ordered it, they were out of the jam that was supposed to come on it and replaced it with a green tomato type jelly which wasn't remotely close to the sweet/savory flavor that was supposed to be going on which bummed me out a little bit. Biscuit was hard to keep together as well, so a bit more on the deconstructed side.

This is one of our favorite places for breakfast. They have great food and a great staff. This visit Mercedes was our server and she was so sweet and amazing. Thank you! We tried the cinnamon roll to share. Really good. Big enough for 3 or 4 to share. My wife and I got the Cure All. Really enjoyed it and my son had The Goat Sammy. We would all definitely get our meal again and can't wait to go back. Expect a wait. It's worth it. Biscuits are so good!

Food and service were great!! The restaurant is really cute and quaint . Located inside of an old house I love the character and feel. There is outside seating and inside seating. The food was really good and affordable . The service was really quick as well. We will be back !

When we arrive, we were greeted with a smile. Everyone was so polite and friendly, definitely made us feel special and welcome. Atmosphere was basic, but very cozy. Food was great and delicious. But unfortunately the hash brown casserole and scrambled eggs lack flavor. Definitely was a great experience. Look forward to trying it again. I can honestly say I would recommend this place

I was so impressed with the food at the brunch apothecary. I took my friends and we both loved the food so much that we're planning another visit soon. The whipped coffee was something I've never had before and I absolutely loved it.

The Brunch Apothecary Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - The Brunch Apothecary

    Do they take reservations?

Not at this time. It's first come first serve. They offer free beverages while you wait and the porch is lovely.

    Do they serve mimosas?

No mimosas unfortunately. No alcohol at all here.

Do they offer any milk alternatives like oat or soy?

    They have almond milk

Are there any gluten free options?

You can create your own gluten free options. The steak and eggs would be good and maybe add a side salad or fruit. They are very accommodating.

Do they still offer the nitrous Carmel coffee?

    Yes!

    Is this restaurant dog friendly?

Yes! They have an outdoor covered patio that your pup is welcome to join you on.

    Is it wheelchair friendly?

It's a little cramped inside, but it's all on one floor, I don't think there are any steps from the parking lot, and I think there is a handicap spot up front.

It's located on the corner of Webb Ginn Rd and Grayson Hwy and is connected to a Shell gas station. When I walked in, it reminded me of someone's kitchen, which I really loved. Very warm and inviting. There were pictures on the wall of different celebrities. I'm a big OutKast fan so I definitely enjoyed them paying homage to OutKast and of course my Falcons. So the restaurant is New York City food infused with southern comfort which is so intriguing to me. They have a very nice and expansive menu from seafood, burgers, and breakfast items. They even have vegan options as well. The kind lady that took my order did say that everything on the menu is sold all day. I asked her how long had they been open and she said last June made a year. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the Oreo cookie crunch cheesecake but to my horror, the kind lady said something about they did not have dessert. Now I'm not sure if they had ran out or just wasn't serving dessert at that time but it was just after 11am when I got there, so it was lunch time hours. Needless to say, I was disappointed but the food definitely made up for me. The shrimp and grits were AMAZING! The sauce was what really did it. The biscuit had like a honey topping and was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portion size was perfect! I'm thinking really hard y'all but honestly, I have to say that, that was the BEST shrimp and grits I've ever had. I'm looking forward to going back and getting that Oreo cheesecake and I really want to try the hoagie.

It's a good spot for date night, or a special occasion, or just when you want a properly- and artfully-prepared crepe and coffee. Their new location in Dacula is a bit further from home for me, but it is worth the drive - and longer. They have an expanded menu featuring a variety of French classics. They still do offer galette and crepe menu items. This new location also features bar service, and their menu has a short list of specialty cocktails and TGG versions of standard mixes. Amuse Bouche: a fresh watermelon gazpacho (served in a shooter) with a tiny crispy wafer topped with Gruyère and apple preserve. Wild! I ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon. One of our party ordered the Sea Bass and another went light and ordered a selection of appetizers. They reported excellent preparation and flavors. Mine was extremely well prepared, rich and full flavored. The dishes were presented like works of art. It was the luck of the day that beams of setting sunlight shone through the curtains and illuminated our meals just as they were placed on the table. The spiraled lemon on the crab cake caught sun like a stained glass window. The beef arrangement on my side looked like a tiny forest, with tender boulders of mushrooms and meat, fallen trees of carrots, a little shrub of Swiss chard, and a sapling sprig of fresh rosemary. But for real - artistic musings aside, this was some damn good food. I thoroughly enjoyed the main course, and of course, I had to get a crepe for dessert. Tout de Chocolat was such a perfect finish, with freshly toasted almonds and warm buttery caramel to offset wave after wave of chocolate flavors. I always love the atmosphere they create. The owner was in the house and she is always such a delight to encounter. The Galloping Galette should be on your short list for great restaurant experiences in Gwinnett County.

I've attached a photo so others can judge for themselves. We immediately called the restaurant. The young lady who answered transferred us to Jeremy, who she identified as the cook, we later found him to be the owner. We explained that the sausage was severely burned. Instead of apologizing or offering to make it right, Jeremy's response was, "Did you want it raw?" He then stated that he cooked it himself, remembered making it, and knew it wasn't burned. Not only was the food unacceptable, but Jeremy's attitude was rude, arrogant, and extremely condescending. My wife offered to email him a photo of the biscuit, which she did. About an hour later, she called back to follow up. Jeremy said he hadn't looked at the email because he was busy. He went on to explain that he needed to get everyone out by 1:30, had other things to do afterward, and would call us back around 2:30. That call never came. Not to mention we paid $14 for two biscuits!! No follow-up. No apology. No attempt to resolve the issue. Nothing. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen. Burnt food can happen in any kitchen. What separates good businesses from bad ones is how they respond when a customer brings a problem to their attention. Instead of taking responsibility, we were met with excuses, dismissiveness, and complete indifference. After reading other reviews, it appears that burnt food and poor customer service may not be isolated incidents. Unfortunately, our experience certainly supports that impression. We weren't looking for anything unreasonable--just acknowledgment of the problem and an effort to make it right. Instead, we received some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. The attached photo speaks for itself.
