    Jerk Chicken Alfredo Omelet
    Jerilyn A.

The menu here has so many things that sound good! I had to ask the waiter to help me choose out of my top options and we settled on the jerk chicken Alfredo omelette and the loaded hash browns. I was advised to get them without cheese because the cheese can be a lot but when I tasted them they definitely could have used something. I assume they may have been more enjoyable with the cheese added. However, that omelette was so good! I definitely recommend it if you're feeling a savory option. Overall the place was cute and service was fine. I would absolutely return to try something else.

The food was amazing, literally some of the best brunch I've had in the whole city. And the space is gorgeous was perfectly decorated at the time for St Patrick's - perfect for Instagram. The downside to this experience was the service. Despite us coming in on a Friday morning the place was pretty slow, it seemed like they had a full house just with staff but it still took us so long to get our check it really impacted our overall take away. I'm looking forward to coming back in for the redemption because the food was really THAT good.

Haven't been here in 3 years since it was called Frances and I see why. It get crowded on the weekends and you sit pretty close to the next table. Parking is hard to come by in the area. I ordered the fried deviled eggs and these were just right with just the right amount of onion on it for me. My friend had fried catfish and eggs with hashbrowns. I ordered the special which was suppose to be jerk red snapper in a garlic sauce. My friend enjoyed her food, me not so much. There was nothing jerk about the red snapper and the sauce needed more garlic. I will say it tasted fresh but no flavor at all. I had eggs and cheesy hash browns. The hashbrowns were the highlight for me even ordered some to go. No issue with the service, Jesus was our waiter.

OK, y'all this place was amazing. Everyone of us enjoyed our food from the catfish, to the purple grits and lamb, to a strawberry shortcake French toast. Everything was super delicious. The mimosa flight was great, and they even let us take it to go. The shrimp deviled egg is a must do not leave this place without treating yourself to that!! Our server Anthony was amazing, vey charming!

Upon entering, I was actually glad the restaurant was empty (Tuesday morning)-- there were only two other customers eating. The decor were beautiful and definitely set a nice tone. However, the experience was not what I expected. To start, my pop was flat, so I sent it back. The waitress seemed a bit confused and asked if it had gas, it just had no flavor at all. I decided to stick with water after that. We ordered the bacon flight, and the presentation was horrible. Almost all the slices had a burned look, One slice came broken into pieces, and every slice was cold. Needless to say, all of the food that came out was cold -- nothing had any warmth to it. The French toast flight looked beautiful presentation-wise, but the taste was just okay. The raspberry french toast was extremely sweet not enjoyable. The strawberry French toast definitely had the best flavor out of everything we tried. For the restaurant being nearly empty, I expected much better attentiveness from the waitress. Our table never received napkins, so I had to grab some from a nearby table myself. I also never got a refill on my water, and I'm used to restaurants at least offering refills without having to ask. The most bothersome part was having to get up and find my waitress just to pay the bill. I eventually found her eating at the front counter. Will I return? No -- but at least I can say I tried it once.

One of my favorite places to come and brunch. Warm welcoming vibes and delicious food and mimosas. Everything about this place was nothing more than amazing. Friendly and attentive staff. Cute decor and outside patio. Just an FYI - They don't take reservations. Get there early to get a table and find parking. This place gets super crowded. Social media has put this place on the map. The apple and dragon fruit mimosa are my favorite. The French toast flight - strawberry, lemon zest, blueberry crunch and caramel apple are all delicious. The bacon was a little too salty.

Was in Chicago and definitely had to try this place out. Heavily underestimated the wait times as well as the seating arrangements. I do not believe that we could make reservations so when we arrived the place was packed from wall to wall (not even kidding). Think it was about a 40 minute wait time. It's kind of compact and congested inside. Hard to maneuver without bumping into anyone, but it loved the theme. It was decorated festively throughout the interior. Drinks and food came out pretty quickly despite it being crowded. We tried the mimosa flight that came with beautiful mimosas. They were tasty and had a kick to them. I tried the Jerk Chicken Alfredo Omelette and my bf tried the Catfish Executive. Food was pretty good. Be sure to check your receipt though!

The Brunchery was a nice choice for my girls trip to Chicago. Firstly I love that it's black owned, and if I'm not mistaken the chef was walking around a little checking on the tables - great great service. I decided to branch out and try the jerk shrimp and purple grits. It wasnt my favorite but I can say I tried it. The three shrimp you got were good and cooked/seasoned well however the grits really just were extremely lumpy and didn't have much taste.. 5/10. More than likely would pass next time. My friends had fish & eggs and I think a waffle. They enjoyed their food. Everything smelled great. Though everything came hot, it was a good bit of a wait. However it was PACKED on the day we came. It felt like our table was so crowded with the big party in the booth behind/next to us. As far as ambiance it was your typical relaxed urban atmosphere.Music was on point and everyone seemed happy and calm. Definitely willing to support another black business again when I have a chance!

The restaurant itself was so cute, bright and colorful - if you're looking for vibes for a fun brunch this is absolutely the place! The food however was hit or miss - all of our sides lacked flavor and needed salt/seasoning and some of the fruit had an odd artificial flavor. But the main meals were good and the sampler of waffles was very fun.

Now that I have become a suburbanite, I don't get back into the city to dine out often. I was catching up with some friends later in the day, so I got a head start with breakfast. I ordered a French toast flight that came with strawberry, blueberry, lemon, caramel, and a chef's recommendation. I had scrambled eggs and cheesy hashbrowns with the toast. It was all good, for real. In my usual fashion, I arrived shortly after they opened for business. So, it wasn't crowded. As time passed, I noticed it filling up. I imagine it gets busy an hour or so after they open for the day. I'm glad that I stopped in. Whenever I am in the city in the morning on the North Side, I will pop in again.

    Bacon Flight was really delicious.

Stopped in for brunch and everything was on point from start to finish. I ordered the Executive Steak and Eggs, and it was absolutely delicious -- perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. My daughter was celebrating her birthday, and she went with the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. They were a hit! Soft, warm, and full of that cinnamon flavor she loves. My girlfriend had the Catfish and Eggs and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The decor was clean and modern, and I really liked the open space -- it gives the place a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The staff was very attentive and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Highly recommend!

My friends and I came here to celebrate my best friend's engagement, and The Brunchery was the perfect choice! It's such a cute, cozy spot with pastel decor, a flower wall photo op, and a bar that says "Love You Brunch." Brunch vibes...think chic tea party energy. The owner was friendly. He shared his background... eight years of culinary training in New York and Chicago...and it shows. The food was amazing. I had the shrimp and grits (they're purple!) with a savory gravy and big, flavorful shrimp. A touch salty but still delicious. I also tried the French Toast Flight...the caramel one was my favorite, and the butter was heavenly. My friends enjoyed their food and cleaned their plates. The drinks were the highlight for me...they have mimosa, martini, and margarita flights! So tasty and colorful. It does get busy (our wait for four was about 45-60 mins), but the service was great once seated. In order to be seated everyone in your party MUST be there. Definitely worth it for brunch with your girls or a cute date. Highly recommend!

    Nova Lox Sandwich

Came here with a friend at 10:30am on a Saturday and there was no wait for a table which was amazing. We sat outside and the ambiance was ok, the seating was a little outdated but the area is nice. The service was amazing and quick. I got the nova lox sandwich and it came on a board so I could build it myself and this was delicious and an amazing idea! I loved putting my sandwich together and the ingredients all tasted fresh. My friend liked the fruit and said the waffle was tasty. The French toast flight also looked amazing, but we decided to not do a heavy sweet breakfast and I was still impressed with their other food options. Overall: great brunch spot in Lincoln Park that's reasonably priced with good service. Would definitely come back.

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast.
