Cool new spot in downtown Sandpoint! Well made and flavorful grill top (maltshop style) burgers. I recommend the bacon burger over the "sticky" peanut butter burger. Be forewarned, you need to order a combo to get fries with your meal and no fountain drinks. The shakes are old school and gourmet-the kids behind the counter are friendly-the atmosphere is cool. My hubby and I were in Sandpoint for the weekend, drove by on our way to the motel and decided to try it. We are glad we did, it's a very charming place with a wonderful view from the patio. Came in on a Sunday, only 2 other customers in restaurant,9 employees on staff all of which looked stoned. waited 30 mins to get 2 burgers and a shake and 1 side of fries for $40 that look like a frozen costco patty. All while we we watched almost every employee touch their hair and face, not wear gloves, eat right above the grill, and watch what looked to be the manager literally scratch his nuts. milkshake was good. unimpressed with the rest of the experience. read more

I would give the burger dock NO stars if that was an option. We ordered burgers and fries to go. From placing our order to receiving our food was 38 minutes. I took my daughter here for a late lunch. We went here because a friend had told us that they had vegetarian options. She had the Vegan 'Shroom Burger, which she said was good. However, now I find out that they cook them on the same grill as the meat burgers, which is a horrible thing to do!! I had the wedge salad. In the description, it says it has a House Bleu Cheese Dressing. It was awful and super spicy. I couldn't even eat it. It really makes me mad that I paid $10 for a salad that wasn't even edible. I would have never ordered it if it was advertised as being a Spicy Bleu Cheese, which it actually is. It made my stomach hurt for hours afterward. We both had milkshakes and they were good. Prices are outrageously expensive for what you get. The burgers are small, fries are extra, and quality is not great. I won't be returning. read more

Absolutley phenomal food and customer service. The girl who ran the register, Tilly, was super helpful, friendly, and hilarious. Huckleberry shake was AMAZING. Still wish they did the vegan pb shake, but the huckleberry was super good also. The food is a bit spendy, but totally worth it! read more

I am a local so I was super excited to see a new burger place opening in such a great location. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. It is really expensive for a so-so burger & cold, greasy fries. The service is VERY slow (despite calling ahead to order). I thought I'd cut them some slack since they were new & were still working out the kinks. Unfortunately, after 3 visits-I won't be returning. I guess they plan to survive on the tourists because the locals won't frequent over-priced, cold, mediocre food restaurants. It also seems they missed the memo that Sandpoint is a friendly little town. Service was definitely not friendly. So disappointed. read more

Friendly people and great tasting burgers! Here you can sit outside overlooking the marina near city beach, or sit inside. It started drizzling while we ate, so we started outside and moved just under the roof. I had The Fun Guy, which was an amazing mushroom swiss burger. The bun was soft, but was able to hold everything together. My 10yr old ate 2 bacon cheese burgers and said it was pretty good - huge compliment since he does love his bacon cheeseburgers. Not sure how the drive is or what the parking situation is like since we rode up in a boat...super convenient location! I'd love to come back when we visit Sandpoint again! read more

Good burgers but I felt you did not get much for the price. Burger, fries and drink for one person was about $18. Fries are not included with the burgers, which are between $8-12. There is also no diet soda, only regular... I gave 3 stars because I wasn't really satisfied as far as value. The restaurant itself is wonderful, love the location. That's probably the only thing saving you from competition. Staff was great as well. read more

A must visit if you are in the Sandpoint area! Burgers are huge, full of great ingredients and well priced. The amount of fries you get is fantastic. They had plenty of people working, which helped ensure quick service. Family friendly restaurant with a hearty selection of food and drinks, including beer. Was super excited to grab a delicious lunch here as we'd had an awesome experience this summer. I am disappointed to say that the quality of both the food and service have gone significantly downhill since our previous visit. We had to wait for half an hour for two burgers-both of them came out very over cooked and dry. The meat was so chewy I couldn't even eat mine and my husband had to drown his in ketchup to get it down. Between both burgers, there was at least a full head of lettuce stacked on the buns-maybe to cover up the poor quality of the meat and to make the burgers look bigger? I don't know, but completely unnecessary. The fries had great flavor, but were extremely greasy. It would seem that maybe the young staff could use some experienced management oversight to expedite the service and improve quality control. I sure hope this was just an off day as this place was really outstanding early on. read more

I was with my hubby and 2 teenage boys today for lunch. Boys enjoyed their burgers and fries. I ordered the seasonal Arugula Salad. Overall salad is good but too salty. There was a lot of sunflower seeds they used as topping and I think this is what made the salad salty. Also, it should come with two small cups of dressing. Otherwise, we appreciate that their meet is from a local purveyor, Woods Meats. read more

Not sure where some of the 1 star reviews came from, because my experience was one that will keep me coming back. I'm sure new businesses have hiccups in the beginning, but it seems like they have figured it out now. The food is good, milkshakes are amazing. Prices are beyond ridiculous. For 2 adults 2 kids it cost $80. Fries and drinks don't come with burgers. Also my mom ordered a mushroom burger thinking it would be meat and mushrooms... no it was mushrooms as the " patty". read more

WOW. I am blown away by the hard work and effort put into every piece of food. The burgers taste like they have been handcrafted by God herself. The milkshakes are like a sweet sip of heaven. The fries are what gives Idaho a purpose. Definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone, and I hope Guy Fieri can taste these melt-in-your-mouth, homemade burgers some day. Loved my burger and the fries are great. Had the "fun guy" with grilled mushrooms and onions with swiss. My husband had the sticky burger with peanut butter and said it was great. Although working out the kinks of a new business, I think this will become a Sandpoint mainstay. Prime location, especially on the way to the beach.
