From the clean scent of the dining room, to the taste and portions of the food plus the awesome service, this is a location I would love to frequent. I wanted to try their chicken tacos. They were of perfect size and they had that home cooked taste to them. I ordered four under the impression that the portion wouldn't meet my need but I was fooled. I only finished two of them with my lemonade and had to take the other two to go. I ordered a Hi-C lemonade to go along with and I enjoyed myself. The meat that they prepare The tacos with isn't your average fatty meat so it's good to ask for extra salsa to go with it. I went with two friends of mine and one of them went for a turkey melt which looked very good and my other friend ordered a lettuce wrapped burger and it looked awesome. I couldn't resist tasting their fries although I ordered tacos and they were spectacular as well. I also appreciate the fact that they do not serve ketchup packets in the dining room but give you a nice size bottle for the amount that you may need. Parking was okay. I got breakfast here this morning (French Toast Breakfast) and it was really good. Some places make booboo breakfast, so YES I applaud them for great breakfast. My coffee did not taste watery like some places, so they make good coffee here. Nor is it too strong. And I really appreciate good customer service. Places like this is why I love Yelp. I needed fo kill time and I was in the neighborhood starving my buns off. Searched Yelp and bam! This gem. Parking is a little limited but it's not too bad. The inside can fit about 30 people, they have maybe 6-7 large booths. Staff were attentive and nice...you could really tell they love and appreciate the customers. My food was so damn good! I got a bacon and cheese omelette thinking it would be a small breakfast....nope! Plate came chalk full of hash browns, nearly 6 pieces of bacon in my omelette, eggs galore (of course) and both wheat and white toast. I came to this burger place, not expecting much, just really hungry with a friend, thinking no way it can match our favorite place Freds on vermont and 59th. We were shocked, the fries where cripsy from pick up to our home. The burger was a good size, good ingredients and the soda had a good taste. It reminded me of the great feeling of seeing boobs for the first time, it was an experience and we were over taken by the quality of the food. Was like seeing boobs bouncing, just an experience you have to see for yourself, I highly recommend the hamburger special. My only negative feedback is I felt the thousand Island dressing could use a better flavor, if it was like Freds dressing, omg 5/5 without a doubt and my new everyday burger place, for now its a 4/5 for me, but I plan to keep on coming, I just wish the dressing had a better flavor. Loved it! Got breakfast here this morning. Drive thru was quick, the Hispanic lady was so sweet and friendly, food was bomb. Got the #1 and a side of grits. The #1 is your standard breakfast plate; you boo boo the clown if you mess up some pancakes and eggs. I came here at 7pm last night and did see the aforementioned bum washing drive-through cars' windows. We opted to park and go inside so I could sit and take pics of my fresh burger. The menu was refreshing, as it had 80% burger related items. Not much Mexican food here, just burgers, dogs, chili, and a couple other random things. I ordered a double chili cheese burger, chili Fritos, large Sprite, and a cheese burger for the woman. I do have to say that the guy working the counter was extremely nice. Within minutes our tray comes out. My burger was what I expect, thin patties, little flavor, very typical of the "Toms" style of burger. The chili was pretty good, had some natural spice to it. The cheese wasn't too goopy (that's a bad thing) and the burger was overloaded with shredded lettuce. One positive thing about the meat was that they somehow managed to cook the ultra thin patty to medium, leaving a tiny hint of pink throughout the burger. Alright, I've gotta be honest, I couldn't allow all of these reviews of 'hood burger businesses to go unanswered. I am something of an aficionado of such locales. I work a nice hard 12 hour shift in the hood, and knowing which establishments appreciate cleanliness can be the make or break between a fine meal and a trip to the hospital to treat your salmonella issues. This place is awesome. It's located at Main Street and Manchester Avenue on the southeast corner. You'll be able to tell if you're in the right place if there's an 80 year old crackhead hanging out at the drive-thru window "collecting" spare change. Yup, that's the place. I'm not throwing this place five stars because the ambiance is fantastic, it gets the five stars because the guys who work here do so under less than optimum conditions and also do so with a smile. The workers make this place. I usually hit this drive-thru between 10 pm until about 1 am. I think it might be open a little bit later on the weekends. These guys always look out for me and they also serve a nice array of ghetto sodas. I mean, where else is strawberry soda the most popular drink amongst all the tasty beverages? I've had the chicken sandwich here a few times and it comes with bacon and the usual fine Hispanic addition of a bag of chiles. The sourdough double cheeseburger is also a fan favorite of mine. The fries are perhaps the crowning achievement though. You get a frickin' huge greasy bag of these things and the seasoning salt is to die for. I bring a couple of these suckers back to my workplace and I've got co-workers salivating and reaching their greasy mitts in to grab a handful. I can't get upset though, I mean, come on, they rock! I don't suggest any of you West LA yelpers go here on a lark. I mean, you would probably be alright, but the locals are going to see your Toyota Camry with the UCLA license plate placard and make a bee-line for you with a "there's a mark" glint in their eye.
