She's great with detailed plans but also great with rolling with the unexpected. Just as a small example, I asked Ashley last-minute to help me with some dress changes and she stepped in seamlessly (I was amazed at how well she was able to do the buttons, as I and others had struggled with them). Ashley was our wedding angel. I am a Type A, organized person, and I friggin' love details. I've helped plan so many weddings over the years, I've been a Maid of Honor four times, and I've been a bridesmaid more times than I can count. So, when my wedding came along, we were pretty decisive about the size, scale, and detail we wanted for our event. About 5 months out, it became clear to me that, although the coordinators at my venue were wonderful and so responsive to us, there were certain aspects of our wedding that I wanted to entrust to someone who solely had our interests at heart. I found Ashley's business on a Bay Area wedding board and we scheduled a meeting shortly after that. I really liked her personality, and she exhibited the right balance of compassion and leadership. She supported us well in the months leading up to our wedding and, on our actual wedding day, she was the MVP. In addition to our all-inclusive venue (which we loved), we had a few external vendors that we brought onsite for entertainment and favor purposes, as well as SO MANY BOXES of personalized and custom DIY and décor. Ashley didn't miss a beat. She set up aspects of our reception space, completed the tablescapes on our guest tables, applied decor to our cake, and even provided a rental backdrop for our sweetheart table. She checked in with us throughout the event with perfect timing and frequency. She supported our other vendors and made sure they had everything they needed throughout the night. She didn't bat an eye at the, um, pages of instructions that I gave her before the wedding; she completed every task that we had discussed, and then some. She helped pack up everything at the end of the night and made sure they were loaded into the right cars. She had my cellphone for the entire event, so that she could take videos of the speeches, which I hold so dear (especially since our wedding videos will not be ready for weeks). Ashley did everything to help us, and we could not be more grateful to her. After the event, she also texted me photos of our wedding that no one else had access to get. I appreciate her so much. Having gotten to know her a little through the planning process, I don't know where she gets the energy she has to just power through several hours of a stressful event to help it run seamlessly. She clearly loves weddings, and I think they love her back. I'm glad that I crossed paths with her and that she was available for our event. Ashley's attention is so focused; when working with her, you would never know how many weddings she's working on and how many couples she's supporting. She really makes you feel like you're her only client. read more
