Can I tell you the first time I walked in here I was like ... no thank you .. Just had street signs on the wall and seems like it might be like bar food - but after we ate there the first time I was hooked!!!!! No matter what I order I am a happy girl - I think for the prices (which suit the food) they should take down the street signs - the dollar bills from the ceiling - and maybe hire one more waitress (sometimes on the weekend services is a little slow) and this place would be 7 stars!!!!! read more

We have been here several times over the last couple of months, it has become our go to Friday night place. Great happy hour, awesome wings (parmesan and garlic wing is our favorite), solid burgers and salads. Everything we have tried has been excellent, service is tight and the employees pay attention to detail. We stopped by on our way to DC after a wonderful week in OBX. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. The bartender greeted and served us immediately. The staff took our food order and brought our food to us in a timely manner. The salads were fresh, the shrimp tacos were tasty and spicy (not too), the ribs were amazing. The soup of the day was fabulous, along with the sweet potato fries. There are three (3) televisions on different channels, if one is not to your liking you can focus on another. We came here because of the amazing yelp reviews. The service is super nice and everyone is very kind. The food was not good. I ordered rare burger - they were charred on the outside, grey inside. The nachos had very little toppings and some yellow sauce that tasted like it came out of a can. The sweet potato fries were greasy and charred on the outside, and undercooked on the inside. And the fox news in the background made us all uncomfortable. maybe we were on an off day, or maybe the reviews here are not very accurate. read more

This used to be our favorite place to eat, the ribs were phenomenal. Fall off the bone we recommended our friends to go there. They went there and the ribs were awful they had to gnaw them off the bone so we went back to find out what happened ordered the ribs and again they were awful. We ask the owner what happened to the ribs? She said they are buying them from a different supplier now. Big mistake. We went there yesterday to order the special Reuben sandwich, it was thick sliced and we could not even chew it. We will not return. So sad. We are giving it 2 stars because there are some good items still left on the menu, hopefully they won't change those either. read more

There is no way this place is worth 4 stars let alone 5. The only reason it is getting even 2 from me is because my son liked his burger, even though they messed that up a little. First-They maybe have 8 small tables and 2 counter height tables with uncomfotable stools. The small tables sit 2, but you can push them together If you have a group....which sounds fine, but remember there isn't a lot of seating. The counter height tables seat 5. They do have a bar area you can sit at, plenty of alcohol, but if you are a family looking to sit at a table, or away from alcohol, you are probably out of luck. Second-They have a limited menu...which is fine. But if you are going to offer a limited menu, your food better be spot on and it isn't. We had the crab cakes and I can honestly say, having lived in both coasts, the New England area...etc...these were the worst crab cakes I have ever tasted. Plenty of crab meat, but the seasoning was horrible. Third-The waitresses were disorganized. We walk in and they tell us to sit anywhere. We are a family of four and saw 2 small tables in the back. We asked if we can put those two together, but were told no because the manager was using one. So, we were left with a counter height table with the uncomfortable stools. One waitress comes up and gets our drink order, delivers drinks, gets our appetizer order, another gives us our wings and plates. We needed napkins, who delivers wings without napkins? But okay...not too big of a deal. Easy to correct. Then when our salads come out, part of our dinner, same young lady drops them off, but we have no silverware. We tried to "catch" her before she leaves the table, but she was quick. She just put them at the end and took off. We waited a few minutes thinking she was going to get us forks, but no. My husband had to get up, track down another waitress to get our silverware. Sat a little longer, but we got the silverware for our caesar salads. Not once were we approached for refills or to see if we needed anything else. Sitting back and watching the waitresses do their job, they looked disorganized. It looked like there were 3 of them for the 10 tables. (BTW-3 were pushed together for family of 6) How they can appear that chaotic, disorganized and not attentive to what averages to 3 tables a person is beyond me. Sidenote-The small salads weren't bad. But like I said, our dinner was just horrible. The only one who enjoyed his food was my son. He had a burger. And it is hard to screw up a burger. It is obvious they have their regulars at the bar. A lot of familiar conversations can be overheard and apparently they live within walking distance. At the end, our bill came to a little over 80.00 dollars. We left feeling like it was wasted. We would have gotten a more fulfilling meal at Chick Fil A across the way for a fraction of the cost. read more

We come here every weekend it's that good!! Staff is so great, owners are personable and have our orders memorized. The menu has really unique twists to traditional food items. Fantastic is the best way to describe this small restaurant and looking forward to our next visit. Had lunch with my wife and 3 kids. Started off with a half-order of their popular nacho appetizer and was not disappointed. The kids menu is great including a delicious cheeseburger and a nucle sandwich (Nutella and raspberry jelly). And the adults enjoyed an egg salad sandwich on thick wheat toast and a Greek salad with a tasty lemon basil vinaigrette. I went with a huge group (including a cranky father-in-law, a toddler and a 6-year old) on a Saturday evening. Not only was our server one of the most patient people in the world, but the food was terrific. My steak was spot-on rare and the compound butter was delicious. Everything from the dressings to the hummus seems to be made in-house. I had a bite of my husband's ribs--they were so tender and the coffee-bbq sauce was a nice change.
