However, I want to be very clear that THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY ABOUT THE VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE. If I were rating the Vietnamese iced coffee itself, unfortunately, I would give it 1 star. It's advertised as Vietnamese iced coffee, but what I received tasted like a regular iced coffee--watery, mild, and lacking the strong, bold, rich, almost chocolatey flavor you expect from a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. Honestly, it wasn't much different from an iced coffee you could pick up at a gas station. The small ice was correct and appreciated, but unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't there. I really don't think this particular drink should be called Vietnamese iced coffee because it sets an expectation that the drink simply doesn't deliver. Again, this isn't a review of the business, food, or service--ONLY THE VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE. I just wanted to give other Vietnamese coffee lovers a heads-up so they know what to expect before ordering it.

But, when I took it home, sliced it open, popped it in the toaster, and spread a heaping amount of butter on it , like I like it, It was just perfect. So much, that I returned the next morning. There are also regular tables and it seems like there are outlets beside them as well. WIFI: The wifi is open (no password necessary), even though they have a password listed where you pick up your food (it's just Sanctuary Coffee). I tried to use one of the locked ones (the only one that made sense), but the wifi password didn't work, so I'm not sure why they have one listed. Regardless, albeit not the fastest wifi I've ever used, it's incredibly doable. I have been working remote here for 1.5 hrs and had almost no issues. MENU: For LA, relatively cheap. I am not a coffee or tea drinker, so I got the peach Italian soda, which was yummy. I believe it was about $4.89, which is not bad at all. I went to And Destroy in the Highland Park-ish area, and I believe an Italian soda with cream (cream is free here) was maybe $7-8. I'm used to paying more for drinks because the specialty (non coffee and tea) drinks are usually pricey, but this was one of the cheapest things on the menu. Also, you can claim a free pastry with your email and first name on their website (it sends you a voucher, just show the email). I got the banana bread, which was fine.
