Clientele can be a little sketch, make sure your car is locked in the parking lot, but the crab is phenomenal. Very fresh, very good. Call ahead because the crab is brought in daily, and sometimes they can run out a little early. I think this place would hit a home run in a more premium location. Glad its local! read more

Finally something new and different in Manteca! We ordered the garlic noodles, gumbo, a pound of shrimp with all the seasonings, and some corn on the cob. Everything was wonderful and full of flavor! I am a Bay Area girl and used to having many choices when it comes to dining out, so it's nice to see some variety starting up in this town. This little spot is pretty damn good. Definitely is on par with boiling crab. We decided to try it out and got a few pounds of shrimp, potatoes, sausage, rice, fries, cheese sticks. All of that for $55. A few things they could have done better, make sure the orders were correct. We ordered the garlic butter sauce with our shrimp, first bag had no garlic at all, just butter...the second bag had huge cloves of garlic. Went here because of the 4 star reviews. How misleading. Came here for dinner last night and ordered crawfish, Cajun fries, garlic noodles, and their steamed white rice. Frozen crawfish are 12.99 lb Fresh crawfish 14.99 lb We got the fresh crawfish and it did not taste fresh at all. Also it was bland and over cooked. The white steamed rice was dried and broken. Well this was a first for me. Inside looked clean and inviting , tables covered with paper on top. Ordered a bucket with crab legs, shrimp, red potatoes and mini corn on the cob. They bring out the food in a bucket with no plates. Little did I know the paper covered table was your plate. The waitress Gaargi (not sure on the spelling) offered a plate if I needed one but I quickly adapted to the situation and it was time to eat. Food was absolutely amazing, flavor was great, I loved the potatoes and corn the most but this was the first time I actually liked shelling and eating crab legs. Been wanting to check this place out and finally hit it up....well worth the wait!!! Even for a Sunday, they had a real decent flow of customers. We both shared the shrimp and dungeness crab (they sell by the lb...a lil pricey but good) brought out in basting bags swimming in whatever sauce or type of butter you want. You can order items ala carte to create your own boil bucket. Lots of sides to choose from, beer and wine, pretty decent service. I wish I could give negative stars. This is THEEEEEE WORST place I have ever been to in my life!!! I will never step foot in this place ever again and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. My family and I arrived, gave our name and how many were in our party. A few more parties arrived after us and the last party to arrive got seated before the rest of us who had been waiting a while because the server (they had no hostess) wasn't keeping track of who had arrived first nor bothered to ask. So it was already off to a bad start. We get seated and two workers start arguing right in front of us about the party that skipped the rest of us (extremely unprofessional). 10 minutes after being seated, we still had not received menu's so we had to ask for them. Another maybe 15-20 minutes to have someone come over and get our drinks started and put in our order. An hour goes by and we were still sitting there with just our drinks, not even at least our fries. We start getting irritated seeing everyone who was seated after us, enjoying their food. The server comes by and gives us the lamest unapologetic excuse for what was taking so long with our food. Half of our food comes out, then the cook comes out giving us another sorry excuse on top of being rude as hell. Her excuse was waaaaay different than the servers excuse so now we were really fed up from their lies. So now comes time to pay and my brother goes up to the server because they were over charging us for food we never received and when he asked to speak to a manager, they completely brushed him off. Although I clearly remember the server telling us that we could continue eating even though they were closed but her "boss" wanted her to close the register again, MORE lies! This place was extremely unprofessional and the staff was very rude. I understand they were understaffed but that gave them no right to talk to us or treat us the way they did. On top of the worst customer service, the food was nasty. They thought this place was busy when they maybe have 15 tables? HA! Go to the Bay Area, you'll see what busy is and you'll get way better customer service there. I order a coke no ice. Got the coke tasted it and to my surprise it was flat so I got an orange fanta. Now I don't eat seafood so I order chicken wings. I asked do they serve flat pieces only. He says yes then comes back 10mins later and says no. I order garlic bread and a garlic noodle. Bad choice again. I got the garlic noodle but it was not it. I came across this place last year and decided to give it a try. It was a decent experience the first time and that was in part because we had stopped by on a weekday in the afternoon so there were tables available. Later on we learned we wouldn't be so lucky Friday through Saturday evenings. I've been back 3 more times since. However, it seems everytime we show up, we have to wait between 30-50 mins. So we decided to make reservations. I called and asked if I could make a reservation for 5 at 8:20. Keep in mind they close at 9pm. The worker replied, "I'm sorry we only accept reservations for 6 or more and we don't serve walk-ins after 8:20." It was apparent to me that I was going to have to find a new spot. So I spent over $100 on 2 bags. The liquid or juice in the bag is nothing but grease. The food wasn't seasoned. (I seasoned it at home) I said no mushrooms on one order and it still came with mushrooms even after I asked the man if he was sure it had no mushrooms. I got dungeness crabs in the other and they gave me broken up pieces of little crabs. I couldn't enjoy it because the pieces were so small.
