Where do I start. I am a local business owner and called The Chakra Shack last month to make an appointment, first the phone 3 times went to voice mail in the middle of the day. I know they were open because I can see their front door (which is always closed and non welcoming). I finally got a hold of a gentleman and asked if I could make an appointment. He stated he would have to call be back to see if there was availability. Two days later I called back to see if he was able to check on availability and he stated there was not. I used to go in here a lot when the old manager Michelle was there and I ALWAYS had an amazing experience. She was very knowledgeable with product and took the time to answer all my questions unlike my next experience. I thought I would go in and purchase a few gifts. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if I could ask him a question and he stated he would be right with me after he was talking to which appeared to be his girlfriend. I waited 10 minutes and he still would not acknowlege me. I then put back my $200 worth of gifts and walked out. I happen to run accross a business card for a tanning business the old manager Michelle gave me and called it to finally get the guidance I needed. That's the beauty of this woman, no matter how much I complained to her about how The Chakra Shack has went SO FAR DOWN HILL. She never had anything bad to say she just guided me to someone in my area that could help me. I am able to see the front door of this store from my business and I will tell you right now this store was packed when Michelle worked there and I see why now it has NO business. I do know this all the 5 star reviews you see have to be people they know because there is no way on Gods green earth they could of had that great of an experience after I had two horrible ones in a row. read more

Okay, I don't normally do reviews but my friends and I decided this was worth it. It was our first time in the store a few weeks ago even though we had been hearing about the aura pictures for a while. When we walked in ,the owner, I think (tall,big blonde) barely acknowledged us. She was busy talking to some guy about giving some guy a blow job eeeeewwww. Walking into a spiritual store, you don't expect to hear tasteless conversation, especially coming from a worker in the store!! I don't know if she thought that we couldn't hear her or she just didn't care. Another blonde lady was trying to help us but was interrupted by the owner telling her to do something else (completely oblivious to the fact that she was assisting us). This woman is tacky. The reader told me by September (of this year) my life would turn around for the good at 180 degree's. They lied and stole my money. I was fired from job in August. Small company only hired me for 2 months. By October 1st, could not pay rent. On December 1st, cell will be cut off and storage unit will be locked up. I had to get on General Relief and Food Stamps. I'm a professional women at 55. Work out etc. Applied to 2,000 jobs. Everything "he" said was a lie. I swear this is the truth. I want my money back ! Shakra Shack services are not worth 2 bucks a minutes but only .01 per minute. Con Artists. I saw a couple people just to see if I'd be homeless. They stated I would not. I love the chakra shack and loved shopping there. Not anymore, because someone by the name of Michelle is so rude!!! I will never go back. It is a spiritual store and that she is NOT!! She raises her voice to customers and gets aggrivated to easily. I see people do like her but BEWARE! She may appear nice and helpful at first, but she swithces her mood like a light switch! This place was so much fun! My friend and I stopped by after a fun day in laguna. We both got a 1/2 hour reading by Leann. She was awesome! We also both had pictures taken of our auras. Girl working the front was really knowledgeable and helpful. I purchased some yoga candles, and some chakra balancing oils. Overall a great experience! read more

I barely got in the door when I was accosted with a hard sales pitch and had a tray for crystals aggressively thrust at me. Then, the woman, the owner, I assume, tried to take my phone to put in her website, even though I told her I could easily find it online at home. Then, she tried to do the same with her Instagram. I really don't like people grabbing at or taking my phone. You never know what they're going to do. I gave her the same reply. The store has some lovely things, the same things as every other store of that kind has, and I already have most of them. As I looked around, I felt very uncomfortable. I could feel her angrily watching me. When I made my way back to the front, I asked her about those crescent crystals. She brought them out of a display case and told me they were $36., each, which I thought was way too much for what they were. At second glance, their shapes weren't even all that appealing to me, certainly not for that price, which she kept lowering. Still, I politely declined. I simply did not care for it but did not want to tell her that. One thing I really hate is the rudeness of aggressive sales people, especially when they won't accept that "no" means no, no matter how politely it's phrased. I also don't like when a proprietor gets angry at someone for not wanting to buy something. I don't understand this breach of a buyer's prerogative. This was a turn off for me and made me quite uncomfortable and a little irritated as well. For this reason alone, I will not be going back. At that time, I was the only customer in the store. Perhaps this was why. People in general do not like aggressive sales people or haggling. I know I don't. I will not be bullied into buying something I do not like or want.

(I shouted this); and I ran into Art of Inner Peace so fast that I probably left a trail of smoke behind me like in Looney Tunes cartoons. Upon entering, my eyes feasted on an array of crystals/rocks/gems, colorful textiles, shiny sound bath bowls, jewelry, wands, sage bundles, meditation supplies; while the scent of incense permeated my nose and amazing energies seeped into my pores from every direction. Art of Inner Peace is stunning with a selection that makes the store feel like an entire experience versus just a spot to shop. I could have spent hours looking at everything! Whatever your spiritual needs: you will find it at Art of Inner Peace. Art of Inner Peace is amazing as is just to browse; but honey: it gets even better! I can never have enough crystals - I am like the Cookie Monster with cookies - and can not rave enough about the selection of crystals/rocks/druzy crystals/ spheres/ icons at Art of Inner Peace. Whomever is their buyer knows their stuff AND they must have the most amazing suppliers! All of the pieces are both stunning on the eyes and of the utmost quality. One would therefore expect Art of Inner Peace to be off the charts in price point but NO! The prices on the crystals are incredibly affordable and basically a steal for the quality. Art of Inner Peace does NOT scam over customers! LOVE THIS PLACE! I selected a beautiful druzy amethyst crystal alongside an adjustable costume-vintage style ring ($10) and expected a simple check out experience but even this was stupendous at Art of Inner Peace. The female associate was so welcoming and instantly commented on my own energy and vibes. She (wish I caugfht her name) made me feel like I was a celebrity in her store and that she was being gifted by MY visit! And this wasn't some grifting act either - this was genuine. It is an absolutely pleasure to patron such an establishment where the business is truly thankful for their customers.
