Great drinks, appetizers and most importantly great vibes! This is a really nice spot if you're looking for a quiet place to chill and have a nice drink. Had a great time at Soulful Sunday at The Chapter Room!

Love this place was a little hard to find you have to go down the steps.. bartender was friendly.. this place was a nice chill vibe. Love the atmosphere not too big not too small... the food was really good.. Only thing I would say is that they need more workers because the bartender had to spend most of her time behind the bar. She didn't come to the table as many times as we would have liked. We waited a long time sometimes for things, but other than that, this place was great.

Located under Taco Mac, the entrance is easy to find - just follow the signs! The Chapter Room was well decorated and very sleek. The bathrooms were super clean but only one toilet in each restroom. There are a few larger booths that would be great for 6-8ppl and a bar that seats 8-10, then a bunch of smaller pub tables. My husband's work organized a meet up here on a Monday night for the holidays. It was really awkward, a bunch of small pub tables were pushed together with large rolling chairs for about 16-20ppl attempting to make a circle. Honestly, I think this is more bad planning on the co-workers but The Chapter Room didn't make any other suggestions. My first drink was delicious, Ode to Sunshine. I ordered three of the same thing and they were completely inconsistent in taste - all good, but not the same. I didn't eat any food because the menu was more for snacking and not for eating, and the server didn't know if anything was gluten free. The others in my group enjoyed the food. Warning. The rolling chairs are not at all stable. I almost fell out of my chair twice, before my first drink arrived!

I hadn't visited this Taco Mac speakeasy since it was Fred Bar! So it was weird to see the new entrance but still fun all the same. We ordered some beers and nachos to share. I ordered the ETA by Wildleap, an American IPA. I rated it a 3.75 out of 5 on Untappd, which is pretty good, in my book! And definitely a beer that I haven't seen around too much, either. It was the first time I saw the nachos plated this way and now I think that's how the nachos are served in most Taco Mac locations now. But the meat on these nachos is definitely higher quality than the ones I've seen there. Definitely will be back to try some different beers that you can't find anywhere else!

The GA Chapter Room is a speakeasy of sorts - a hidden establishment serving alcoholic beverages - a tribute to ancient days of yore when Prohibition was the law of the land - and alcohol was illegal. The entrances to the places were never marked and well hidden. The reviewer who stated that "to get to it was pretty creepy," apparently does not know that the entrance to Speakeasy's were not supposed be known or pretty. To enter, you press a button and wait for someone to answer the door and let you in. In any case, our group met here for ales and appetizers. We sat at the bar and had a fun conversation with the bar keeps. I had two brews: - An Ale of Interest Pale Ale (5.5% ABV), Against the Grain Brewery, Louisville, KY (rated 4.25 stars on Untappd) - Foolery Imperial Milk Stout (14.0% ABV), Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, Richmond, VA (rated 4.25 stars on Untappd) Both beers were very good. After the Imperial Stout - due to it's strength, I was done for the evening. Food-wise - I ordered the Crab-Blue Cheese dip - and also got to try the wings. The dip was delicious. The wings were well prepared - slightly crisp skin, with a savory, slightly smoky flavor profile - really good wings! I look forward to coming back here again! #TheGAChapterRoom

A nice surprise when hubby and I visited during a double date. We went on a Friday night and the place was crowded but we were able to grab a few seats. The waitress was super nice and although the food and drinks took a while, she set the correct expectations upfront that they were very busy and short ha fed. We weren't in a rush so it was fine. The hot wings were crispy which we requested. The truffle fries were okay. Drinks were not crazy expensive. I got some kind of Collins and hubby got an old fashioned. It was super laid back and chill. We would definitely come back again.

So, I got 2 different beers, and both were really good. Galactic Fuzz 5 and Sharks w/ Lazer Beams Attached to their Heads (what a great name!) with both delicious IPA's. So why only 3 stars? Well i ended up here on EDM night and I am a 50-year-old. I tried to escape the "boom boom boom", except they had speakers outside too, so I went on the roof top area, and they were setting a DJ up there too. Not my vibe at all. The beer was great; the vibe was shit. I like my beer without glowsticks and epileptic seizures. So if the vibe is for you, go and if it's not check their calendar.

Right off Roswell Road, you'll be able to come into the parking lot, and it's free parking and it's their own parking lot. It has multiple levels, so there is plenty of space to do a lot of things or bring large groups to it as well. The bar itself is pretty large, and it actually goes and extends on multiple sides, so the bar is basically double. If you go up to the top, there is a bar there, but the last time I was there it wasn't active. Honestly, the last time I went, I went to get some hot chicken because they have a Nashville hot chicken spot in there. That was my primary reason, but it's still a really good place to go if you want a brew.

They told us that we would have to show up and just wait to be seated... fine. No big deal, again we are a large group coming in HOT on the weekend... I get it. We call ahead again, closer to the time we were planning to arrive to double check. THIS TIME they said they could reserve us a space and that it wouldn't be a problem. We get there and everything is seemingly fine. The vibes are good and the waiters are taking orders diligently. We understand that this is a huge group (16 of us) and that we would have to be patient with them as they are with us. So everyone puts in there orders. First wave comes out... I noticed that all the food is cold. Not ideal but the food was good so whatever. Second wave comes out, again the food is cold and peoples orders are missing. Fine. We are a big group, it happens. 3rd wave comes and they are seemingly trying to land the plane with us, finalizing anything that may have been missed while also getting refills. One of my friends that was a part of that first wave was still waiting his burger that he ordered (he had informed them twice at this point). 45 mins later the waiter checks on us again... My friend still doesn't have his burger. Cool AGAIN this is a big group... It happens. My side of the table who got all their food are ready to play some games now. We go to the front counter and there is seemingly a good cop/bad cop routine going on. One host says we can rent a station the other says we can't unless all 16 of go to that station. I told him not everyone wants to play games so what if we just cash out now then the 4 of us that do can just play/sit at the station. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT ITS AGAINST THE POLICIES" O....kay... whatever don't take my money, I then tell him I'd like to cash out anyway. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" I can't pay you now? "THE TAB CAN ONLY BE SPLIT 5 WAYS" Huh? So not only was this not brought to our attention beforehand but you want to be a jerk about it? There reason was because some people run out on the bill and things get missed. Meanwhile the entire table is sitting here with their cards out ready to pay you? Not to mention if something is missed thats on YOU as you are the person entering the stuff into the system. Mind you we still have folks that were missing food or order was taken only for it to be sitting under a heat lamp. After some back and forth we paid (which they REFUSED to give us an itemized receipt) only for a smug waiter to come out with the missing deserts with creepy smile to literally say to us "I hope you enjoy it..." Nope. Not eating that. Matter fact we will never eat here again. This has been a yearly tradition for some Dreamhack attendees and I can wholeheartedly say that I'll NEVER step foot in here again more will anyone I associate with. If I could give it a 0 I would.
