The server took care of us, was very patient when we couldn't decide what we wanted to order yet, explained what drink options we have, she was very kind. We got the fried calamari as an appetizer and it very much hit the spot with the cocktail and tartar sauce I got the Jamaican Black Pepper Chicken & Shrimp meal and the sauce for the protein was so flavorful and paired well with the sweet plantains and rice and beans, only downside is that the rice has no salt, very bland. This is one of those "if I could rate it zero stars I would" reviews. This location has the world's WORST customer service and the general manager who was on duty on May 17th should be fired immediately. I ordered online to take advantage of a free birthday slice and drove 40 mins to pick up my order. Upon arrival no order was ready and when I checked the app my order had disappeared. My gift/credit card HAD been charged, however. I called the store from the parking lot and after a long wait the phone was answered and I explained the situation. The woman who answered said she would fetch the manager to help me and would check the kitchen to see if they had the order......20 minutes passed without either happening {meanwhile I am sitting in the parking lot like a fool, with my dog in the car, unable to go in due to the intense heat). The woman who had answered finally came back and assured me her GM would call me back in less than 5 minutes and hung up. Of course, that never happened and idiot me, I waited ANOTHER 20 minutes in the hopes theyactually meant it!!! [Yes, fool me once, etc applies here]. I called my family to say I was giving up and leaving, but I checked the app one more time before leaving and my free birthday slice was gone from my account, so something certainly happened with the order if my card was debited AND the free slice disappeared. Best of all, on the way home I tried to call again so as not to end up losing $45 and my free slice for zero result/food, and I was told the GM "was too busy to speak to me and would call me back later".....which of course means NEVER, after I (stupidly) wasted ~2 hours waiting for them to fix this problem while sitting right outside their door. Being busy doesn't mean total s&%t customer service applies, and what's the use of ordering in advance online to end up wasting 2 hrs and being told to go f**k myself when I tried to get my situation resolved and my money back! So now I'm out $45 ( and the free slice I was hoping for for my birthday) and we and our neighbors will certainly never patronize this nasty spirited CF again. read more

Who doesn't love a trip to The Cheesecake Factory? The menu is basically a novel, the options are endless, and everyone at the table can find something they're excited to eat. That's exactly why my sister and I stopped by the Montgomery Mall location after a morning of shopping. We expected a reliable and enjoyable experience, unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The restaurant was packed, customers everywhere and servers dashing through the crowd. Once seated, service got off to a rocky start. Our initial server was not a good fit, and when we brought our concerns to the manager, Jahir, things didn't improve. If anything, the interaction made the situation more frustrating instead of resolving it. Thankfully, we were reassigned to Joswai(sp?), who completely turned the tone around. He was attentive, respectful, and customer service oriented. That said, service wasn't the only issue. Some of our food arrived lukewarm at best, and in one case, cold. My sister even had to send her waffle back. Disaster after disaster! The food that was actually served warm, was really good. All in all, this location missed the mark. Joswai was the clear bright spot, but not enough to outweigh the rest of the experience. It took us a while to get seated and once we were finally seated it took another 5 minutes to get menus and waters. The service here was very lack luster with my waiter only checking in a few times. Once our food was delivered we had decided we wanted to try desert so we asked our waitress for the menu again she quickly brought the menu but then didn't come back for 15 minutes to take our order which by that time we were in a rush to get out to make our 8:30 movie. Luckily enough they have the section where you can just get takeaway cheesecake, but our waitress missed out on more money on our tab. On the food side of things, I can't really complain everyone in my family was very happy with our meals and how they tasted. This location is attached to the Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, Maryland. It's very popular so also very busy, so you should be prepared to wait a bit for a table. I have been to this location several times and can say the food and service has been very consistent. During this visit, I came here for a birthday celebration for a friend and everyone in our group enjoyed the food and experience. We died on some of everything with a couple of standout as well, such as the occasion, jambalaya pasta, cheeseburger egg rolls, Thai shrimp, and shepherds pie.. Everything we ate was very good and we enjoyed it. The drinks were strong and our server, Josiah kept them coming. He was very attentive, helpful and provided great customer service. Also, he was very knowledgeable about the different foods and pages of menu options. Lol. And of course, the highlight of your night.....the CHEESECAKES!! What's the point of coming here and not trying one!? We all dived in on several cheesecakes. They are all good but my favorite when I come here is hands-down the Reese's peanut butter, chocolate cake Chocolate Cake. Layers of you guessed it Reese's peanut butter and chocolate chunks and a cheesecake with a chocolate cake layered in between. My wife and I came here for our weekly date night. We love The Cheesecake Factory and this was a great visit. Tryanna was our server and she was great! She was patient, attentive and helpful with our orders. She even gave feedback on her personal recommendations as we were having trouble deciding what to get on certain things. We ordered our drinks and I got a mango smoothie. Then we got spinach dip for the appetizer and for the entrée we ended up getting the Mac and cheese burger which was very good :) we ended the evening with a slice of Peach Perfect cheesecake and Lemon Raspberry cream cheesecake. Stopped by The Cheesecake Factory before heading home to take advantage of their half-price happiness for desserts. I've been wanting to try the Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake for a while. I love pumpkin but had never tried pecan pie, so this was the perfect excuse. The pumpkin layer was so good, everything I hoped for. The pecan part wasn't really for me (a bit too rich), but I'm glad I tried it. Overall, still a fun mix of flavors! Service was quick and friendly, and the half-price deal made it even sweeter. I ordered cheesecake factory on Friday to go where it was delivered to my house. I will give it five out of five stars because the Chinese chicken salad is just beyond amazing. So flavorful great for lunches or dinners. We decided to try the biscuits and gravy so chalk it up for something new . The gravy was salty so we really didn't eat it, but we did wanna try it and now we know for next time stick with our favorites. We also ordered the chicken and shrimp with pineapple dinner. It was flavorful nicely prepared. It also made a nice lunch the next day finally, you have to order the brown bread they give you a whole loaf. She seemed to have an attitude with us the entire time, didn't check in on our table. Only refilled half the tables sodas. Seemed annoyed that I was ordering a lot. It's been a long minute since my last visit to a Cheesecake Factory. I always remember the menu being so large it was difficult to decide on what I should eat. The menu is still pretty extensive but lunch specials available before 5 pm helped me narrow my choices. The flatbread pizza was good, just a little too burnt on a few of the edges. The Thai lettuce wraps with chicken were a huge hit. They come in two sizes, one with 3 pieces of a chicken or the larger with 6 pieces of chicken. Pictured is the smaller size that we ordered. It's unlikely anything changes except the number of pieces of chicken because it's a pretty large meal to begin with. The chicken Avocado Club was pretty good. Fresh ingredients and loved the toasted bread. A dash of salt and it was just right for me. The restaurant is quite large with ample seating both inside the restaurant and in the corridors of the mall itself. There's a lot of hustle and bustle from the staff as they work the magic that make things happen. That being said, service was a little slower than I prefer. I just returned from Puerto Rico and had mojitos everyday while away. I was pleasantly surprised how much the mojito here reminded me of my vacation. The service was great. Our server was Mauricio (hope that's the correct spelling) he was fast, friendly and checked on us very frequently. We were a large party and he automatically received gratuity. Usually in situations with large parties where the server gets a tip regardless of their level of service, the service is lacking. That was not the case this day. Again Mauricio was amazing! I've given this place two chances in the last three weeks, and both times were a mess. I grew up in Potomac and have been coming to this exact Cheesecake Factory for years, but it hasn't been updated in over 15 years. It was nice back then, but now it just feels outdated. The food quality has gone downhill, but the real issue is the service. Both visits were full of long waits and constant reminders for basic things. The server needed multiple reminders (three or more) for the same request and barely checked on the table. Drinks weren't refilled, and at one point, we had to track down another server just to get our sodas. Our appetizers showed up before the drinks even made it to the table. The food was disappointing and overpriced. The shepherd's pie had massive chunks of meat, clearly from hamburger patties instead of ground beef. The dish also came with zucchini, whole snow peas, and mushrooms, making it feel more like a random casserole than a proper shepherd's pie. Between the outdated ambiance, poor service, and strange food, this location isn't worth it. Won't be coming back. read more

This place is always packed on the weekends, but they won't allow for reservations for tables more than 6 people (which is when you need it most!). We went for an early Saturday dinner hoping to beat the crowd at 5:30pm, but there was already an hour wait! Instead of waiting, we were able to grab a few tables at the bar and split up. Cheesecake Factories have a huge menu, but the food is only ok. I only visit a location probably only once a year, but my last visit, the food was a bit bland. My friends and I who ordered various pastas had to ask for salt, the sauce was a watery flavorless cream. The Korean Fried Cauliflower was good though and of course their famous free brown bread! I think I really only go for the bread, although now you can buy them at the grocery stores! And of course it's always fun to try one of their numerous cheesecakes (usually get them to go for birthdays) even though they're definitely "factory" made with a denser and sweeter composition, unlike homemade ones. I see a lot of 3 star and below reviews for this Cheesecake Factory location, but my experience here was the complete opposite. We visited 2/16/24 on a Friday evening (4:30ish) for a birthday dinner and received fantastic service, the food was great, and we left extremely satisfied! Our waiter was attentive, and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was fine with us. The food portions were gigantic, so make sure you bring your appetite. Not only were we satisfied with the serving size, but everything tasted fresh, was delicious, and was served in a timely matter. All-in-all you're definitely going to get your monies worth in the food department. When it comes to The Cheesecake Factory ambiance, there's not much to be said in that department - it's The Cheesecake Factory. But, it was cozy and while there were a ton of other diners there as well it was never too loud that were weren't able to hold a conversation. Thursday 11/2/2023 Been to Cheesecake Factory many times and for the most part the food is mid and overpriced. The cheesecakes & cakes on the other hand always deliver in terms of taste and they are consistently good. I've had a few of their cakes & cheesecakes but the one that stands out the most and keeps me coming back (just for a slice of cake) is the Linda's chocolate fudge cake. That cake is easily my favorite chocolate cake I've ever had. The cake slice is around 10$ for a slice but it's fully worth it for that cake. All in all, the food at Cheesecake Factory is medicore but the cakes & cheesecakes are pretty damn good. read more

The only problem is that the tables outside the actual restaurant that are located in the hallway of the mall is too close to the mall entrance and the cold air comes inside making the seating experience not enjoyable and the food gets cold. Why me?! We stopped by to eat after a pleasurable shopping experience at Macy's. I had a turkey burger and other entree at the table was wings and fries. Note: the celery on the plate was visibly dirt; not properly cleaned. My daughter put it to the side because she doesn't like to complain. While chewing the turkey burger, I started to feel a mushy sensation. Although it's sort of dim lit in there, I wasn't sure so I asked a server walking by if the turkey burger looked pink in the middle. He said it looked pink but he would call my server. She came promptly and took the burger plate to the manager. She returned and said the kitchen said that is the way it's supposed to be - pink in the middle. I said no never poultry it should be cooked throughly. The manager came over and confirmed the same, he said, it should have been fully cooked and it should not have been served pink. He said, if it was an impossible it would look pink inside from the chemicals added to give it that burger effect. He asked me if I wanted anything else and apologized. He removed the raw turkey burger from the check. Of course, I was done for the night and didn't order anything else. I actually feel sick because I ate about a quarter of the burger. Hope all goes well and I don't have any gastrointestinal issues. Please train kitchen staff because the consumption of raw food can be a very serious issue. read more

The Cheesecake Factory is pretty standard and convenient dining, so we come here occasionally. We usually don't have many complaints but our most recent experience was not great. We were told there was a wait for dinner but if we sat at a hightop table we could get full service and wouldn't need to wait. We opted for the hightop but it took 20 minutes for the waitstaff to come over. When she did, she didn't even say hello, just said give me a minute, handed us some menus, and walked away. It took another 5 minutes for her to come back and bring water. We seriously contemplated leaving and going somewhere else for dinner. We also noted that people seated after us got taken care of before we even had water. It was frustrating to say the least. Once we ordered things went a little more smoothly, but it was a rough start. I understand that waitstaff are human, have bad days, and need some grace. With that said, we had to ask for water, utensils, bread, all of which should be givens. The food was good as usual. The drinks we ordered hard sparkling water in them and were flat by the time they reached us.
