Daughter chose to have her birthday dinner at CCF and it was a good experience. This is a bright, newer location and they seem to have the kinks worked out. Also, it was a busy weeknight in August, so the service was very good. Not sure how things are here on the weekends. We try to avoid Birkdale Village as the parking is sparse and everything is crowded. With that said, we had a great night and great service. Brando was our server and he was friendly and helpful. No issues with anything. Took drink orders, came back for appetizers order, entrees came out timely and hot. No complaints or concerns. Food was good and we got a slice of cheesecake to go for the birthday girl to enjoy later on. Every time I come here I really want to add stars but I can't. Most recent visit, I dined alone outside. I was very low maintenance. Just wanted to enjoy outside and watch a show on my phone. My server was nice and kind, but very slow and forgetful! I asked for napkin and silverware 3 times before he brought it! I had to ask for my water to be refilled. That should have been a given for an outside guest on a warm day. Nothing wrong with my food and drink. I asked for my dessert to go. He did bring it to me on a plate, because my account said was my birthday recently. I appreciated the effort, but I still wanted it to go and now it had to be rehandled again for packaging. It took him a while to cash me out. I really try to look for things to bump my experience up, but I digress. Food still speaks for itself here. It graduation season! We notify them a week ago that we had a large party and was coming there to celebrate a youngling's graduation accomplishments! Our party of twelve arrived at 11:30 am and we were told that we could not sit together as a group! We asked for the manager and we were told the best he could do was a booth and three tables across from the booth! We were seated at around 12 noon. At 12:40 pm we finally got a server to take our drink order! 30 minutes later our drinks arrived and we placed our food orders. Then we waited and waited! When we first arrived there were 2 tables next to us that were vacant, but somewhere after our food order was placed that two tables became occupied! Forty-five minutes after our orders were placed, I notice that those two tables had received their food and were eating it while our group was still waiting! An hour and a half passed and we were still waiting, while both tables next to us were eating their desserts. Finally almost two hours passed and our food orders arrived! The food was cold to luke warm or just incomplete! My order of chicken and biscuit was cold! The parmesan truffle fries that I ordered ended up in my lap when the server tried to hand them to me! My gfs Belgium waffles were missing the fruit, cream and nuts from the order! I returned my chicken and biscuits and received a luke warm replacement in its place. The fries were reordered and came out cold! They also sent out another order of Belgium waffles, but they were cold and still missing some of their condiments! Another member of our party order the egg roll sampler and out of the five samples, two of the rolls were luke warm with the rest being cold and hard! We ask for the manager and he came back with apologies and excuses! No other compensation was offered! My biggest complaint was the fact that we waited 2 hours for your orders to arrive, only to be served cold food all while the clear people in the tables next to ours had their appetizers, their meals, their desserts and their checks while we waited for cold unappetizing food to arrive! Justin at the Cheesecake Factory must be short on rent this month because he gave us the best, most knowledgeable service that we have had at any restaurant on this side of the Mississippi. Like, literally ready-to-give-him-all-of-our-money good service. 2/3 of us ordered dishes based on his recommendations, and they did not miss the mark. Including "Renee's Special" which is a little bit of everything with half a sandwich, soup, and salad, accompanied by the "Orange Chicken", which tastes exactly what you would get at a Chinese Restaurant (which is a compliment considering this is the farthest thing from a Chinese Restaurant). We ended our meal with a Strawberry Cheesecake which I felt like needed a lot more strawberries (we only had 2 on ours), but hey, when is cheesecake ever really bad? My family planned a delayed Mother's Day dinner celebration because my mother and my son both had to work on Sunday. Earlier in the day, we called the restaurant to ask about making a reservation for our party of 7 adults + one high chair. We were informed that reservations could not be made for parties larger than 6, but were also told that since it was a Monday night, there should not be an issue accommodating us. Based on that guidance, we arrived at approximately 5:45 PM for our 6:00 PM dinner. To our surprise, although the restaurant appeared only lightly occupied, we were told we could not be seated and would have to wait approximately an hour and a half because two other large parties had already been seated and the restaurant supposedly could not accommodate multiple large parties at the same time. (Based on other reviews I've read, this restaurant doesn't understand how to restaurant). I have honestly never encountered a policy like this before, especially in a restaurant of this size. What made the experience particularly frustrating was the contradiction between what we were told on the phone and what happened when we arrived. Had we been informed earlier that large parties might not be accommodated, we would have made other plans rather than gathering our entire family there for a special occasion. We ultimately left extremely disappointed and felt the situation was handled poorly from both a customer service and operational standpoint. read more

I placed a curbside pickup order on a Sunday afternoon. There are several parking spots reserved for pickup orders in the parking lot across the street from the restaurant. Was taken out to a ladies lunch at this location. Had a 3 pm reservation for 5. Antebella was our services and truly the best. She was so kind and patient with our party. She was fantastic. My complaint is with corporate. Member of their rewards system for 6 years. We go to this location from Hickory regularly (1 hr 40 min round trip). Wife wants to go for her birthday but unlike other years, her rewards won't give her complementary cheesecake. They found her in the computer but no allowance for her birthday. Despite the crazy long menu, there are some classic gems to get at Cheesecake Factory. It's a chain so go into it having reasonable expectations of the food, atmosphere, and overall experience. I think it's more of a lunch place than dinner. I've tried a few things there, but I always go back to the Asian Chicken Salad. It won't disappoint. With all of the other surrounding businesses at Birkdale Village, it's hard to find parking on a Saturday night. I would subtract a point because we were a party of 7 for a birthday dinner. Although we were seated quickly, the hosts were nice and friendly and our server and food were top tier, I didn't like that we were seated in a booth for 6, and they added a chair to the end of the table, which blocks the isle. The table was crowded once we all received our food. They do have tables that accommodate 7 so not sure why they would crunch 7 people at the table. The food (quality / freshness and varity / quantity) gets very high marks. And with a menu of over 15 pages, there are plenty of options to choose from. Add in a good LKN location (Birkdale) with adequate / free parking and a comfortable contemporary interior design, you get a "high end" dining experience So, what's not to like You might ask... "Why not a 5.0 score?" In my family's opinion, 2 primary reasons - cost and service. As I mentioned above, food quality, portion sizes and variety, the Birkdale location, each contribute to a way above dining experience.... and that means higher costs.... so expect to get high end prices. As a result, we don't go there that frequently but we always enjoy our decision to go there. As to the servers point. I would imagine there is a line of experienced people wanting to get a job at c'cake. Wages and Tips are also high. Unfortunately, the result can be a touch of server arrogance or indifference. It's infrequent but it happens once in a while. When it does, simply inform the manager and they will address the circumstances. First time here in forever. We stopped going to the southpark location because something we ate there made us both sick. Finally found out they open another location in huntersville. We went on a Sunday and it was busy around 2:30pm. The wait was pretty decent for a party of two. Didn't have the best seats though. The food was delicious. I love the lettuce wrap. The prices are a little too high for sure. But worth it once in a while. The ambiance is nice and cute decorations. Just busy. I went to this location for the first time on Friday, 02-09-24 for an early dinner. I can't remember my server's name, but I'll come back and add it when I find my receipt. My server was great as my section seemed to be busy. I ordered the crab bites and a tropical ginger cooler to start. The crab bites were filling & I could've ordered two more coolers; it was that good. Between the warm bread, crab bites, and cooler, I was almost full by the time my salmon, broccoli, and mashed potatoes were served. It actually came out not long after I received the crab bites. I ordered the Godiva cheesecake to go. My server was very nice and checked on me often without being overbearing. She helped me decide on the cheesecake flavor for my free slice. We had a good conversation about her being a college student. She offered to box the rest of my dinner for me, but I told her it wasn't necessary. I'm not in the area often, but I'd certainly return again. My only issue was feeling a little cramped in the space. I sat close to the kitchen where the tables seem to have a chair on one side & a booth back on the other. My experience this time around was not the best, unfortunately. This location is located in birkdale, I decide to go for an early lunch, 1. To beat the crowd, because parking is horrendous in birkdale! I ordered a peach bellini and the meatballs for an appetizer to start. The bellini is *chef's kiss* every time I go to cheesecake factory! The meatballs came with some bread and they were phenomenal! Seasoned to perfection, the sauce had a bit of sweetness to it, and it was piping hot! Fantastic, give me 15 of those! For the entrée I ordered the steak and shrimp scampi Diane but asked for pasta instead of mashed potatoes. I ordered my steak medium well however when I received my dish the steak was bland and over cooked, the pasta was bland but the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I forgot to omit the garlic cloves on my original order, but that was my fault. I sent it back to be remade. I made it a point to ask not to have the garlic cloves the 2nd time around, but when they remade it the steak pieces were once again bland and super small, and the dish was packed with garlic cloves which I asked to have omitted, I decided I did not want the dish at all because I was not satisfied with the quality. I asked our server Rachel for a lemonade to go, she brought back a lemonade to go that had what looked to be a piece of onion peel floating in it. I brought it to her attention and she tried to tell me it was probably and orange or something, I forgot what she said. But it was def a onion peel and not something that should be in my lemonade, either way nothing should be floating in my drink. This really made her upset with me, she let out a loud sigh took the lemonade and walked off. When she brought out what I presume was a new lemonade, she placed it on the table and walked off as I was thanking her. I get it, people are annoying when they send food back, I hardly ever do that, however I was polite and cheesecake factory has a standard to uphold. If I'm paying my hard earned money, I expect to receive good quality food.. I thought about leaving her a sizeable tip, but when her attitude shifted so did my plans for the tip! I don't belive in not tipping, so I still tipped but again had to adjust that. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism. Come early if you want to secure parking . Once inside the ambiance was nice and the staff greeted us . We sat and waited for the rest of our party. We've been to the South Park location and this one wasn't as crowded per se . Don't get me wrong , it was busy just not cramped feeling . Only complaint I had is by the time the waitress got around to getting our refill after I asked , the ice had melted into the beverage watering it down. The food here is always so good! We started with the Korean fried cauliflower which is very good but could have used some more of the sauce on top. We also got the sliders which I didn't try but company said was good. Last, the ceaser salad was very good! I just wish the server was a little more attentive, as our water glasses would get low and we'd be waiting for a fill up but she was super sweet and doing her best. My wife asked me to make reservations for the new Cheesecake Factory in Huntersville. What an unpleasant joke. Tried to go online and make a reservation and website said to make a reservation I had to enroll as a preferred customer which I did. Website did say that they had plenty of available seating in the open area that did not require reservations. I've dinned at several Cheesecake including multiple visits to Southpark (Charlotte) , Buckhead (Atlanta) and Bethesda MD and never have I felt totally ignored till tonight when I tried to make reservations. My eldest son worked for more than a number of years at the locations in Charlotte and Atlanta so very familiar with their operations. Bottom line, I logged on and established an account and after I had filled out all of the required field and asked for a reservation for 11:30 am on Sept, 2, there were no reservations available the entire day. If I want to dine at Cheesecake, looks like I am going to have to drive to Southpark or Buckhead. read more

3.5 stars. I've been to Cheesecake Factory twice since they first opened in Birkdale Village for both lunch and dinner. Prior to this, I hadn't been to a CF in over 20 years. I don't eat large portions and I try to eat healthier foods, so hearing that CF was coming to Huntersville didn't really appeal to me. However, once I reviewed their menu, I saw quite a few options that were lower in calories than I expected. (Of course, the reverse is also true!) I appreciate that they include calorie counts on their menu, and they also have a lower calorie "Skinnylicious" menu. Both times, I ordered off the Skinnylicious menu. The first visit was for dinner with my husband. I ordered the Skinnylicious avocado tacos, and my husband ordered a Cuban sandwich. The tacos were surprisingly good. I'd never used jicama wraps in place of corn or flour tortillas, and they held up quite well. Plus, they added a nice, light crunch. The avocados were lightly fried, and the crema and slaw were perfect complements. I would absolutely get these tacos again. My husband's Cuban sandwich was huge--double the size he has gotten at any other place--and better, too. Even the fries were delicious. You can't go to CF without getting their cheesecake at least once. My husband and I took a slice of the salted caramel cheesecake home, and it was decadent (hence the calories!). Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program, because they'll send you a coupon for a free slice once you do. On the second visit, I went for lunch with some friends. This time, I tried the Skinnylicious shrimp tacos. They were moderately spicy, and I really liked the flavor. The pickled vegetables were refreshingly tasty, too. I'm just not sure they were worth $18.50, however. The timing of the meals could also be improved. Both times, we had to wait longer than expected for our meals. We could see the servers congregating in the kitchen waiting for meals to come out, so I expect the kitchen is still adapting to cooking such a vast menu. Our servers were also new and a bit scattered, but both were friendly and helpful. I did try the Skinny Mojito for dinner, and it was a bust. It was so sickly sweet (probably from agave or some other sweetener), and I just couldn't drink it. The server immediately asked the manager to remove it from our bill, and I'm grateful he did. If Cheesecake Factory wants to be a success in Birkdale Village, they do need to figure out how to speed up the process. We were there both times for about two hours, and this was prior to the lunch and dinner rushes. Just go and be prepared to wait a bit, because the food is really good (and worth the wait!). We waited the 30 minutes then came to check on our reservation and they were putting EVERY other party in front of us.
