PROS: This location offers a brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday. We ordered Bruleed French Toast and Fried Chicken and Waffles Benedict. Both orders were more normal-sized portions and slightly cheaper than the normal entrees. The Bruleed French Toast was light and fluffy, with a decent amount of custard flavor. The Fried Chicken and Waffles Benedict came with two quarters of belgian waffles with two chicken tenders on each. The chicken tenders were very juicy and the hollandaise sauce added the perfect richness. There's also a butterscotchy syrup which went surprisingly well with the chicken and hollandaise sauce. The staff are friendly and we got seated almost immediately. We went at 11:30am, right before the crowds. Our server Tommy was very attentive to us checking in with us multiple times and even after we paid the check. We were hoping to get a second serving of bread, but our entrees arrived really fast. So by the time we finished our entrees, we told Tommy to cancel the second order of bread since we got too full. Tommy was nice enough to add bread to our to-go bag! There's also tons of free parking at Kamakana Alii! So it's not as stressful of a time as the Waikiki location. So far, I've never had to hunt for parking when I come here. CONS: The brunch portions are more "normal entree" size, but I kinda wish they were a little more elegantly plated. No real garnishes other than a sprig of mint on the french toast. The waffles were quite mid, but everything on top really saved it. My Fried Chicken and Waffles came with a side of fries which were room temp by the time we got it. The free bread was also cold and the sourdough loaf was pretty tough to chew. We must've gotten the last pieces of the batch and were hoping to get fresher bread. We also wanted to order the Chicken Parmesan Pizza Style, but realized that neither Hawaii locations serve it. That was really disappointing and most likely there are other items on the normal menu that aren't available in Hawaii. OVERALL: I much prefer this location over the Waikiki location. Parking is plentiful, staff are attentive and we haven't had to wait to be seated. Service is fast and friendly and the food was pretty good. Bread freshness is a hit or miss, but we've liked the entrees available. I wish they offered the complete Cheesecake Factory menu, but I'm not surprised that things are different in Hawaii. read more

Brunch at Cheesecake Factory Kapolei was such a pleasant surprise! My biggest tip: make a reservation online and sign up for their rewards program. It made the experience so much smoother, and it's definitely worth taking advantage of. We got a free slide of cheesecake for signing up! I ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and... wow. They were so ono! Fluffy, flavorful, and easily one of the best pancake dishes I've had in a long time. My husband ordered the Monte Cristo, and while it might not photograph like the most exciting dish, he said it was the best breakfast he's had in quite a while. In a world where it feels like every local breakfast costs around $20 these days, it still feels good to dine somewhere that serves massive portions, starts you off with their delicious complimentary bread, and makes so much of their food from scratch. Came for a special birthday celebration..... My daughter checked our family in... keep in mind the restaurant opened at 10am on a Saturday... She was told the wait was about 30 to 40 minutes. Of course we waited and understood the wait time being that it was the weekend. Not so good... She was then told they are waiting for servers. Hmmm Standing there hearing their hostess say that to the other customers made believe Cheesecake Factory turned away business. I witnessed families with children that left the restaurant and most likely found other places to dine. The good... Our waitress was efficient with our service. She checked in on our table, making sure our drinks were filled and food was good. Not so good... My sister ordered the Lemon garlic shrimp pasta. She noticed the shrimp didn't taste right. We mentioned it to our waitress, she knew exactly what we were talking about. The good.. The waitress asked if she wanted her meal replaced with another dish. Our waitress had gladly taken it and replaced my sister's meal with the shrimp scampi. That my sister requested. The good... At Ka Makana mall Kapolei. Directions show you it's in the courtyard but it's actually right off the road on the outskirts of main parking. Made morning reservations. Small line, no crowd. First time here so husband wanted to try a lot. If you plan to do that then ask for a double table. I don't think I've ever received phone service as good as this. From start to finish, Faith was incredibly hospitable. I originally wanted to dine in somewhere, but there wasn't really anything open nearby that could serve me. So, I decided to order takeout from The Cheesecake Factory. They were closing in just 19 minutes, and I wanted to celebrate tonight, so I ended up ordering quite a bit. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I asked for recommendations, and Faith gave me several great suggestions. I was hoping to get the Fried Mac & Cheese Bites, but they weren't available tonight. A lot of the items I chose were actually inspired by photos I saw on Yelp, and now I'm even more excited to dig into everything. One thing that really stood out to me was that Faith even offered curbside pickup. I loved that it was an option and appreciated that she proactively mentioned it. It's little touches like that that make the experience feel thoughtful and guest-focused. I'll be sure to update everyone on the flavors in a future review. Cheesecake factory is always good but its so far because I live in North Shore, but when I'm in town I usually do the chicken alfredo, remove the chicken, add extra shrimp, with brown bread. Service is some what fast, we had a big group of about 7 people and everyone ordered steak, so that's probably why it came out and took a minute. I've eaten here countless times for, family dinners, friends catching up over food and drink and many times just the wife and I. Menu is vast tho some dishes are misses, many are well executed. We usually enjoy the warm crab dip to start but we skipped the apps today. My wife had the chicken madeira (her go to) and I order chicken and shrimp gumbo. Both dishes are tasty and are not common dishes served in restaurants on this island. We got dessert to go cos meal portions are substantial. We were immediately greeted by the bartender who served us with such detail and care the entire time. I forgot to snap pictures of the appetizers we ordered but my favorites are the Crab Won Ton, the stuffed Mushroom and the Reese's Peanut butter Cheesecake. Oh my! Always a long wait but I understand they take reservations now. Four of us had one for a friend's cheesecake craving birthday dinner celebration. If you can get through the 'what seems like 500 option' food menu, you will eventually make it to the ono dessert. So many choices. There was a French dip burger served with au jus I may try next time... but because we had fried zucchini (one of my favorite comfort food apps) and brie toast, I ended up choosing the fettuccine alfredo knowing I would take most home to share with the keiki. We decided to try the Cheesecake Factory for our little date night. We had a reservation but needed to wait about 10 minutes before being seated. Which is fine! I ordered the grilled Tuscan chicken and the wife got a pasta veggie dish. Both were very good, though my dish only had one single broccoli and one green bean as veggies. Service was excellent. I've been to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch more often than dinner time. It's so easy to book your reservations online. My experience at this location is worth the drive. Located at the Kamakana Ali'i shopping center, Cheesecake Factory has its own parking area for free. Check in was seamless and waited for 5 minutes to prepare our table. Our server was very delightful and very attentive to us. I appreciate that she checked in with us from time to time. She gave us recommendations with the cheesecake too since we were watching our calorie intake. Also, there are multiple menus and 1 of these menus provides a selection of foods and drinks that are 500 calories or less! Super helpful and convenient for those who are counting their macros/calories! Ambiance is semi soft & loud, but casual outfit environment when dining in and outdoor seating is available too. It's not too dark at this location either! The floors don't feel slippery too! The staff here are very exceptional and they've acknowledged our presence at the time of check in which i highly appreciate. I appreciate this location and the staff here so much. We have ate here multiple times since it first opened a couple of years ago and surprisingly, I did not have a review done. We recently visited here again for my birthday dinner. As usual, we were seated and given our bread/drinks to start. There was no wait to get seated which is huge given the business' of the restaurant. Their bread and butter is nice to munch on while looking through the menu and waiting for your food. We started off with appetizers. I personally love their buffalo wings and stuffed mushrooms. This time around, we went with the Eggroll sampler. For the entrees, I got their grilled ribeye steak. The others on the tabled ordered a Steak Diane, Steak fritz and Barbeque Ranch Chicken Salad. Since it wasn't as busy, the food also came out fairly quick. All served on a hot plate. The appetizers did come first, and we all enjoyed it. 4 different flavors of egg rolls and 4 sauces to go with it. I ordered my steak medium well and it was cooked to perfection. I love a little char on the top as well. Everyone enjoyed their food and now it was time for dessert. I love their cheesecakes and my go to is the Godiva cheesecake. I was feeling adventurous and ordered their smore cheesecake instead. When the cake came out, it was topped with melted marshmallows, graham crackers and a candle, which our server lit up, and we all sang happy birthday. The cake was delicious and is a runner up to the Godiva. Overall, the food has always been great, service as well. The wait times can be horrendous but it's usually on peak busy times or holidays. Mind you they were slow it was not a busy time. So i told her never mind and she just looked at me and so we walked out, she offered no other option for seating to us. She literally had us wait 10 mins to sit in the bar area when we couldn've took those seats right when we walked in 10 mins prior. TERRIBLE service, I also called back as we left to speak to a manager and let's hope he calls back. What a joke, we couldn've chosen anywhere to eat at Ka Makana and this is the best service they can give? *Late post- We had lunch yesterday at the Cheesecake Factory. I wasn't sure what I wanted. They have a pretty extensive menu so it did take a while for me to choose but I finally decided on the Grilled chicken and avocado club. I had it with french fries. The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was juicy and the bacon crisp. Of course, the avocado bought that creaminess that balanced it all. The French fries were nice, crispy and seasoned perfectly. My sister had the fried chicken club salad and it was huge. It tasted wonderful. I plan to get that for me next time. We also shared the fried macaroni and cheese which was full of flavor. The reason for the three stars was the long wait time. It wasn't that busy but we had to wait almost an hour for our food. Our server was friendly and on top of it which I appreciated. When the dish was delivered we noticed it was one regular size piece and one very small piece of chicken. We told the server that it didn't look right and he agreed. He said he shouldn't have left the kitchen with that plate. He didn't mention that it was a new recipe. We sent it back and they returned the plate with the same piece of chicken covered by a slab of cheese and egg batter the size of the other chicken piece. Instead of correcting the issue. My aunt asked to speak to the manager and the General Manager Slade came over. He said it's a new recipe. I confirmed with him and said so your new recipe is a piece of chicken and a small piece of chicken and the prices increased and he said yes! He didn't say anything about fixing it or making it right or taking her meal off the bill. He asked her if she wanted him to take her plate away. He didn't handle our complaint very well at all.
