OK, let's talk about location. Parking is tight the place decent size dark lighting. service different story. I wasn't a huge fan of my server. It seemed like he had an attitude with me as far as food. I definitely suggest people stick to the appetizers the fried mac & cheese 10 out of 10 my salmon six out of 10. The best thing on the dish was the mashed potatoes. Lacked seasoning overall the corn two out of 10. My Bestfriend did not enjoy her steak. She said five out of 10 as far as our peach Bellini that was good but not how I've had peach Bellini I would honestly give that a five out of 10 usually mines come with a strawberry swirl in it and it was just peach and Prosecco. I honestly would not return to that location.

The Cheesecake Factory consistently delivers prompt service and a relaxing atmosphere. The turkey burger is delicious and the cheesecake is always fresh. The sweet potato fries in particular are a favorite! Really enjoyed the combination of cookie dough and pecans in the cheesecake.

It was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon and we ordered a variety of items. The server was very friendly and helpful. We received several plates and cutlery that were poorly washed and still sticky/dried food on it. The cheesecake, chicken katsu, and arancini were good value. Ambiance is typical of a Cheesecake Factory - warm and abundant.

Always satisfied when I go to Cheesecake Factory. The wait is never too long, service is great and the portions are enough that I have food for a meal at the restaurant and then afterwords. I love their buffalo blasters and love them even more when I can get them on happy hour. This pasta was seasoned to perfection. And of course couldn't leave without a vanilla bean cheesecake. The only downfall with this location is depending on the time of the day parking can be a bit tricky since it's in the heart of DC (walking distance to the White House). If you can highly recommend catching the metro and just walking over.

Tori was an awesome service very attentive and the food was good except my son did not enjoy his usual Chicken Katsu. The mushrooms and slaw in his delish is an acquired taste in my opinion I definitely disliked. However I enjoyed my usual bang bang chicken and shrimp and my kid enjoyed their margarita pizza. The cucumber lemonade was the perfect touch!!!!

Got a table right away at 12:15 pm and I've never been to a Cheesecake Factory before. The decor takes me back to the 90s, with all the amber and geometric aesthetic. The menu was overwhelming, if I were to do it over again, I'd have researched the menu beforehand and given myself at least an hour to sit down for lunch because I'd have loved to try some dessert options. I had a salmon dish with mashed potatoes and corn, and it was very good, my daughter had chicken fettuccini Alfredo and it was really good. The pasta had a really nice chewiness to it. Could have been better overall-we were promised bread and never got it.

I've been to The Cheesecake Factory plenty of times, but this visit I decided to try something different and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere was very chill and surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I ordered the Louisiana Chicken Pasta and added shrimp. The pasta had a nice kick to it and was very flavorful. I did ask for extra sauce on the side since it wasn't as saucy as I personally prefer, but once I added more, it was perfect. My date had the Steak Frites, which was also delicious. Lately, I've been into espresso martinis, so I ordered one but it wasn't quite what I expected. It was more on the bitter side and not as creamy as I usually like. I ended up adding some vanilla syrup to balance it out, which definitely helped. The service was fast, and our waitress was very polite and attentive throughout the night. Overall, I had a great experience. No matter what anyone says about Cheesecake Factory being "low grade," I'll always come back!

While the food is always the same and on point. They are definitely lacking in customer service. I ordered the Santa Fe Salad which came out fine. But they didn't have the correct dressing and could not make more. Which is fine if it was communicated prior to receiving the food. Also ordered the Thai Avocado lettuce wraps. Not a let down in anyway. The food was very fresh and it hit the spot. My one and only reason for the four stars is due to customer service. While the server was great to interact with the manager was the one who left the sour taste. I also pointed it out to him because you as the leader should be the example for staff.

Cheesecake Factory is a pretty solid option to go to and one I keep returning to. I've had pretty bad experiences here but also great experiences. They're one of the few places that do free bread (bless them) but their prices have started getting more expensive. They're known for their large menus so go in with a game plan. Some highlights for me are the eggroll sampler, Thai crispy shrimp, and the flatbreads!

I really like this place for quick bites. Nice and easy. Sit down at the bar. Staff was very accommodating. Food nice and fresh. Tataki salad is pretty spicy. But really good Wings were great. Brussels sprouts cooked in syrup. Not my thing. But yummy. Staff super nice. Good takes moments to come out. I would repeat for sure

I love Cheesecake Factory! Ventured over to the downtown location after a long day and got the crab dip. I believe this is an item only for locations in the DMW area as I've never seen it before at other locations. The crab dip was great!! The dip came with toasted white bread. Personally I would have preferred tortilla chips or just some of the Cheesecake Factory brown bread. Finished my meal off with the pineapple upside down cheesecake (not pictured). Wonderful meal and service overall.

Went to The Cheesecake Factory for a company lunch for 16 people. The staff were very accommodating and the service was pretty quick for the amount of orders. The miso salmon was a 10/10!

Chicken katsu bowl, 3/5, is healthy with very light taste, but nothing special

They don't take reservations over the phone, and yelp reservations only go up to parties of 6. If you call and ask, they will put you on hold indefinitely. Very rude staff.

I've been a few times over the years, and here are some notes from my most recent visit. I got a last minute reservation for 4 people at 7 PM on a Sunday, thanks to Resy notifications. They sat us in the back, which is not the best seating area, but sometimes you take what you can get. The back area is not the most spacious or prettiest area. I sampled a carafe of red wine, a cheese plate, the delicious (free) bread basket, the black bass grenobloise, and trout amandine. The carafe was perfectly fine; I'm not into wine enough to judge. The cheese plate ($6.5 per piece) was an okay size and came with some honey, jam, marcona almonds, and four slices of bread -- the bread was different from the white and cranberry-walnut in the main bread basket; this one was a smaller loaf, sliced thin, with some grains and apricot (?) in it. There are apparently 11 different cheeses to pick from, which the waiter had to recite to us. A small, printed cheese menu would be welcome here. We only heard about 5 of the cheeses before we decided to just pick some, because who wants to listen -- and remember -- the spiels about 11 different cheeses? The Black Bass Grenobloise ($34) had pomme puree, capers, and lemon. It was ok but I preferred the trout. The Trout Amandine ($36) had toasted almonds (lots), haricots verts, lemon brown butter. It was a classic rendition and it was great. Service was friendly, if a little slow.

She was most likely on auto pilot and appeared embarrassed when she realized it. I politely smiled and said (confidently), table for 1. We solo diners need to be loud and proud! I digress... Before being seated I found the restroom. I found it odd that it was extremely dim. The main dining room was brighter than the restroom! I also saw the Photo Booth. Interesting addition. $5 for pictures. I was seated at a small round table with two chairs by the window. The restaurant was plenty busy, and I'm just glad I wasn't asked if I wanted to sit at the bar (I didn't). My server Noel brought two bottles of water: still and sparkling. I requested lemon slices, which he brought. And I proceeded to finish the entire bottle of sparkling by the end of the meal...guess I was thirsty! But I appreciated the option of both. I forgot to ask for a straw, but saw them in a container at the register right behind my table, so I got one myself. After ordering I noticed a nearby table had some bread so I asked Noel if they served complimentary bread. He said yes and apologized for not bringing it initially. Not that I needed it, but I don't eat bread with butter often and this was a night out to indulge a bit. There were two slices, nothing special. My food arrived within about 10-15 minutes and looked so scrumptious. I ordered the lamb and short rib meatballs and Brussels sprouts. The meatballs were pretty good, but what made them even better was the tzatziki sauce. I didn't realize the green rice was on one side of the plate until I was almost done. That tzatziki sauce was really all I needed to go with the meatballs. It was cool and creamy to go with the dry, meatiness of the meatballs. I honestly wish there had been more of it! I did not finish the rice, which didn't look super appetizing because of the intense green color. I will say though, I'm not a fan of spicy food but the tzatziki had a kick. I think perhaps due to chopped jalapeños. I tried to avoid them once I realized. The Brussels were delicious! Roasted to perfection, not too charred and not too mushy. I requested the green goddess sauce on the side because I'm not a huge sauce person, but once I tried it, I couldn't stop. Again, the combination of the creaminess of the sauce with the flakiness of the Brussels was a genius pairing. During the meal the beverage manager stopped by. I didn't have any drinks with the meal, but perhaps I will return to see what they have. Noel brought the bill at my request, then brought over the portable device so I could pay at the table. While that process is efficient, it's always awkward leaving a tip when the server is standing right there. Anyhow, overall it was a good experience and a delicious meal!

Between the incredible food, welcoming service, and inviting ambiance, this spot is definitely one I would return to again.

The Hamilton - Live…read more Being a fan of both the Grateful Dead and Steely Dan, I paid $40 for general seated admission to see Steeley Dead, performing at The Hamilton - Live. The music venue is located below the Hamilton, a storied dining experience in the 600 block of 14th Street in D.C. Doors would open at 6:30 p.m. for a performance that would begin, right on time, at 8 p.m. I travel alone, and prefer not to join tables, opting instead to sit where single seats are available. The Hamilton - Live offers both: most of the seating is in groups of 4- or 6-seat benches where groups gather, and there are rows of single seats on a slight rise above the forward seating, offering a great view of the stage and the screens above the stage. I arrived around 7 p.m. Within minutes Marie greeted me with a menu and instructions to post a card on a holder at my place, signaling her to stop by to take my order. The menu was eclectic, with sushi, pizza, tacos, salads, wings, cheeseburger sliders, and nachos. There are robust vegetarian and gluten-free selections, and a fully licensed bar. I placed the card in the holder at my seat and Marie returned to take my order: sushi - shrimp tempura ($14), with a can of Nutrl Pineapple ($8) and a double G&T ($23.18). The crowd was gathering, and the attending wait staff were moving with speed, filling orders. My meal arrived in great shape about 15 minutes after I placed the order. Nicely executed sushi! Sound quality in the venue is great, and the restroom was clean and well lit. And as the catalogues of both the Dead and Steely Dan inspire dancing, the dance floor was filled right from the start. The band's vibe was low key and spontaneous, with lots of smiling on the dance floor. Total with a 22% tip was $79 (which included a white Russian nightcap). Reasonable fare for the DMV. Taxi, Uber, and Lyft are readily available from the venue.

The time I came in was when they were getting ready for dinner so I promptly sat at the bar. The menu for the Hamilton is extensive and I was presently surprised at all the options I had. I loved that the sushi was half off and vowed to come back to try it. For this visit, I had the pork chop and the crab fried rice. For an appetizer, I had the crab soup. Everything was delicious and came out promptly. The flavoring of the food was amazing and I had leftovers to take home. I will definitely be back!

The pimento cheese dip was great. Pulled pork nachos: Huge portion! These were also exceptional. BLT w/ tomato soup: "This hit the spot". Nashville Fried chicken sandwhich: I was quite disappointed in this, considering how good everything else was. The chicken was very dry and overly salty IMO. Not at all spicy either. Thyme fries: Loved these! Really cool flavor profile. I would happily come back and try a different entree.

Runners just do that. Run around the restaurant throwing food down on tables and run back to the kitchen. Never checking on anyone to see if they need anything and how the food is. I ordered the SW Salad ($16.50) with a steak add on ($9.00) at medium temp. I also ordered a cup of Clam Chowder ($5.95) as an appetizer. Chowder came out pretty much right on top of my salad, but no big deal. Chowder was decent taste, but only found one clam. Ok whatever. Salad came out looking like a side salad on a large plate with five slices of rare, tough steak. It was so rare, that it was extremely hard to cut through, but again, who was I going to talk to about it. No wait staff would even look my way. I couldn't even get a refill on my water and there is no place in the app to order a glass of water...so that's that. Unfortunately it was just an extremely bad experience for $40. I'll be looking for dinner somewhere else tomorrow night.
