STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!…read more Wow, just wow. I've been here a few times before and it has never been THIS bad. Today, we went in. The lady behind the counter could hardly understand me. While taking my order, another women came up and they started looking at an iPad about a SkipTheDishes order. I had to wait for them to finish to keep ordering. They where supposed to put guacamole on my 1 salad, and they charged me for it, plus a random 50 cent charge for banana peppers I never ordered. Like what ? Ok fine. I told them about the 50 cent charge and she just replied "yes". I'm like, why am I being charged for banana peppers I didn't order, again she just says "yes". Frustrated I say ok whatever. No point to argue over a few cents. Go outside, I see not only did they not even put in the banana peppers they charged me for; but, the guacamole I paid $3 for was not in the salad either. So now I've paid $3.50 for things I didn't receive . Pretty irritating ! Open my other salad and they forgot to put tomatoes on it. I go back to the store and ask them, hey, you guys charged me for this and forgot to put it on. She replies "yes, guac is extra" like, I know. I've paid for it but didn't get it. They argued with me for about 5 minutes before handing me a tiny container of guacamole. To top it all off, after arguing, paying nearly $30 for 2 salads, I finally get to eat, and there's a fly in my lettuce. Seriously, I don't understand what happened here today. I was charged for several things I didn't receive, then had to argue to get what I paid for, then I found a fly in my lettuce . I used to come here pretty often but that's going to change. I suggest everybody stay far away- go somewhere else. The chopped leaf down town or the one In Port Coquitlam are MUCH better. You actually get what you pay for without being argued with. Pretty disgusted with my experience here today.

When I walked in it's an assembly line type setup and I was barraged with an interrogation about what protein, how many sides while I tried to explain I just wanted a salad. When I saw the size of the container I asked if there was a large version and then was given a lesson in bowls vs sides and relative weight in grams. Seems I had to get a bowl with 2 x 100g salad but then also add a third something. I opted for beet salad which was unceremoniously dumped on top of the kale Caesar. It was decent, expensive. I didn't love all of the salads were in giant prep bins pre made (included dressing) and that didn't help the overall flavour. Maybe it's just me but I don't get it and I'm t sure I would go back.

Lots of cucumber and tomatoes. Tasty chunks of beef. Pad Thai - decent, but nothing special. Portion size was a bit small. Pad kra pao moo sub - minced pork with an inverted bowl of rice. Good flavour. Rice soaks up the sauce quite nicely. Swimming rama with chicken - honestly not that good. Plain pieces of chicken with peanut sauce on top, with some vegetable leaves. I'd skip this one. Other than the swimming rama the dishes were pretty tasty. The place was full of people getting takeout, and it's easy to see why. Recommended.

They cater to several delivery apps and I've seen a lot of drivers picking-up food there. We usually opt to just call-in our orders and pick it up after 20 mins since we live close. You get a 10% discount for dinner orders (pick-up) plus saves a bit of money. They have a small dining area -- bar seating by the window. Their pad thai is delicious! We've tried tofu (with egg), shrimp (plus $3) and chicken. They don't scrimp on the shrimp so the additional price isn't bad plus the serving size is quite big. We've also tried #40 Black pepper (Chicken) - it was flavorful, lots of bamboo shoots and other veggies. #57 Pineapple fried rice with chicken -- it was okay, it was a bit moist for us as we prefer drier fried rice and the pineapple chunks were a wee bit too big. Their Thai tea was great. Loved their Basil Chicken fried rice (no peas and beans for us) -- so flavourful and lots of chicken pieces that it's enough to be eaten on its own without another viand. Reheated leftovers the next day and it was still yummy and flavourful. Their Chicken Satay is good too loved the satay sauce, portion size is bigger than your typical Malay/Thai restaurant and it comes with a side of potato chips. Really enjoyed my bowl of Tom Kha Chicken (coconut milk soup), big serving size and thicker soup -- so comforting and warming to the stomach and soul. Overall, Twinkle Thai is our go-to neighborhood Thai place. Pricing and serving sizes are really good value for money plus the food is made really well. Lastly, I'm glad that they are willing to modify our orders (by removing beans/legumes bec of hubby's dietary restrictions). I look forward to trying more things in their menu.

No matter what you get, the sauces are afterthoughts and this preparation method doesn't deliver enough of the goods. They need to cook the sauces into the meals or marinate the products previous to order to create depth, delicious delicious flavour depth. The bowls, wraps or basically whatever else also needs more robust salting and unfortunately when I get home I always find myself dousing the food in hot sauce...to be fair I haven't tried the soups. Oh and the rice noodles are tasteless, wallpaper pedestrian. I know that sounds harsh, but maybe someone important will read this and treat the menu to a romp around the flavour dance floor. Don't get me wrong, I'd 100% rather eat here then any burger joint or sub shop. In saying this though, I could easily make any of this food at home, cheaper and in greater quantity.
