Christopher Lawerence was everything tonight! I never got bored of his music and he played for 2 hours! Danced the whole time, great light show. I wore earplugs but they did not protect my ears as much as they should have. My hearing was a bit muffled when I got out. We got a table and it was the best one in the house! Christopher was so engaging and we all had such a good time!!! The staff at the club was great as well from the security to bottle service. The places had great decor and lighting. The only thing missing was cushions for the hanging chairs outside. read more

My favorite dancing spot in Orange County for house music. Always room to dance and great sound system. They bring in some old school DJs so there are some great events for an older crowd. Great outside area, I wish the fire pits worked. Overall a great alternative to driving to LA. I will not go to the Observatory or to Time nightclub they are awful. This is my go to. read more

Came here for an event recently, the bouncer was super strict about coming in and out which isn't unusual but made my life a whole lot harder when I just needed to put my sweater down, haha. Been coming here for a year now once in a while to rave when they throw the right events I came for techno night and was sober the music was good and danced from 9-12. When some girls hair flew into my nose and I gagged and threw up into the trash can. One of the chill bouncers asked if I was good and I gave him a thumbs up but was disappointed that the other security ended my night so quickly and told me I had to leave for the night. When I explained what happened outside at least they gave me some water "so the alcohol would absorb quickly" ? The tall bouncer quickly remarked and went back inside. I made no further argument and promptly left still had a great night next time but why not ask questions I didn't cause a disturbance just had an accident I paid extra for an expedited ticket too and was planning to stay the whole night. read more

This review is about their sound, lighting, and atmosphere. Been here multiple times for techno/electronic music events and I wish they did better with the production quality. If you truly want to experience techno, you should be going to LA and attend a warehouse rave but if this all you got, it's an extremely reduced quality of what techno and other genres of electronic music can be. The lighting/atmosphere is boring. They have a giant LED screen on the back and some basic lights which rarely creates an immersive experience. No fog or anything fancy because they probably installed everything a long time ago and never considered upgrading or adding better equipment. The sound quality is "okay" but you're never going to experience the power of bass that techno music demands. read more

I walked to the gate and the guy thought I was drinking I have a disability which I was ok with I mean not everyone is going to catch on to that then as I was inside the place was practically empty no one was really dancing I mean I think I've seen more people dancing at a funeral than this place. As I'm walking around the place exploring the club I have some kids(this was a 21+ up night) make fun of my disability to my face. Honestly really terrible venue. We went on 1/25 and the show was completely oversold, there was nowhere to go, even the patio was packed. We were literally just standing there packed in like sardines. This has to be a fire hazard! We ended up standing in the back by the bar, stage completely blocked by the huge room/wall and we could barely even hear the music from back there. Worst club experience, ever. I went yesterday for Lil Texas' show & did not have fun. The security is so unorganized, rude & unprofessional. I went to the restroom, the venue had only been open for 30min-1hr, and there was a girl black out drunk on the restroom floor. The security guards were trying to drag her out by pulling her up by her forearms and dangling her. The venue is so small & shitty. Save your time and go to a club in hollywood or an afters! Spent 15$ for a un-refundable event ticket with a clearly loose dress code of "costume or casual" but was denied entry at the front due to wearing open toed shoes. Nowhere on the event ticket or website does it say any rules about shoes. Bouncers were completely unforgiving and rude when i asked about the rule, zero hospitality all business. This was the last time this specific event was playing, and having spent 30$ on Ubers going there and back i will not be returning to this club. 0/10 I have been to many festivals in these same shoes this place is lame. read more

I've been here in the past like years ago and it was a vibe downstairs but ever since this place has gone a bit downhill to say the least.. When my gf and I first got here earlier there was a chick in the restroom that was head in the toilet.. it wasn't even 10:30 yet. Mind you no one asked her to leave - the next two times we visited the restroom she was there. Her friends were leaving her in there and just coming back to check on her. Sounds like a case waiting to happen. Knowingly having under 21 year olds wasted sick in your restroom- yikes. It is more like a place for 18-20 year olds to rave - it's over priced a f. I bought one corona and it was $10. Lol not a vibe.. All the other shit I can deal with but this is why I decided to write this review... This place also charges $9.75 for a bottle of water. Has no water fountain and doesn't give out glasses of water. This place will however will give you a cup of ice. Someone tell me how this makes sense? I'm not a cheap ass I'll buy a water for $10.. but my point is you have 18 year olds running around wasted and you don't have any public water fountain or even offer glasses of water. - speaking of the bathroom there was one toilet not working one girl passed out with her head on the other and the last one the seat was sliding off-- One mixed drink is $22. Like why? Plus- Lasers are nice but the strobes are a bit much to say the least. AC is cool which is always nice but hot bathrooms... Downstairs has been closed for a long while. read more

--LOCATION-- in a plaza, pretty conveniently located near the freeway, off Warner. --PARKING-- parking lot, huzzah! --EXPERIENCE-- so I got tickets for Space Yacht and had to get in by 10:30 PM per my ticket requirements. I made it in barely on time. My friends were a little behind/late and still got in. Can't be mad about that. There is an outdoor area with fire! This was nice since its November and it is a chilly night. Inside is very air-conditioned which is great if you're going ham. Speakers were loud; I guess that's to be expected. Drinks were fine to me. Water bottles were the pH bottles and big, so I like that. Water is neeeeeded. Staff were roaming around picking up trash and stuff, so I really appreciate that. My one major thing was that the bathrooms only had like 3 stalls. If there's a way to ever expand... kiiiiindaaa need more stalls pleaseeee. Otherwise it seemed clean and well kept. Maybe I just had a really good night, but I wasn't mad about it. I had a good experience basically. And, I mean, you can't beat a parking lot LOL Always a win. read more

I really couldn't be sure what to expect when I was first rolling up to The Circle. In fact, I was thinking I may very well have been walking into a total let down. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Delta Heavy decided to play here last night, and I knew I couldn't miss out on the absolute legend at a smaller venue. "When will an opportunity like this roll around again?" I thought to myself. He shook the entire universe with his set, and it was the venue itself that made the entire experience that much better. The smaller venue may not seem as inviting as a massive, but no matter where you are on the first floor, you feel like you are front and center with the entertainer. Whether it be from the raised VIP seating area, or from the ground floor right in front of the stage, the owners have tailored the experience to be top notch! I was so engrossed by the positive energy and exuberant spectacle, I totally forgot to take some good pictures--and I don't regret a thing! If you're on the fence about this place, just go. The service, ambiance, and demographic are all more than favorable. read more

I love this place. I've been coming here for the local EDM shows for a couple years now it never disappoints. The venue is set up nicely with a main floor and a lower room, both have bars. The sound is great and the lights/lasers are high quality. The staff there adds to the experience as well. There's Alyssa working the floor, Rachel at the bar, and then the security guys: Carlos, Dallas, and Gunner. Big shoutout to Carlos. Last time I was there I misplaced my flannel and at the end of the night I was was looking for it as they were getting people out the door. Carlos was nice enough to take a second look for me, found it, and made sure I left with all my things. Excellent customer service to everyone there. read more

I used to be against going to night clubs because of the crowds, aggressive atmosphere, and over priced drinks but my friend took me to the Circle for the first time a few months ago and I had a blast! The venue is really cool despite being on the smaller side and the lines at the bar are short which I like very much haha. My favorite part though is how well the staff take care of their patrons. As a former bartender in orange county (at the copper door bar in Santa ana) I can say with confidence that The Circle has phenomenal customer service. The transition into the venue was smooth and security was on point and helpful. Bartender knew their drinks and were efficient. It has two different rooms if need to host two different events. My sister had an expired ID and asked for money to let her in but let another person in for money to drink at 19. The drinks were $20 and service was horrible... there was no room to sit the security told us there was no where to sit even though I said I couldn't stand anymore they were rude about it when I said I couldn't stand feeling sick I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I asked for a manager and they asked what my problem was and couldn't help me out to sit anywhere. They also rushed me and my husband out after the club was closed and I said I was waiting on an Uber 10 minutes away. I can't help but think The Circle is like the Pure Nightclub of Huntington Beach (Sunnyvale, CA residents know what the hell I'm talking about) given its random existence in the middle of a suburban area. Except it's not even a club and it's actually an event venue. Regardless, my point still stands because both places are definitely EDM venues. Some thoughts: 1. There's a lot of space both on the floor and on the right side raised level and plenty of AC. But if it gets full? Eesh. 2. Sound system is whatever. 3. There's only one bar in the back. Not really a problem when it's not at capacity, but when it is? Yeah, that's an issue. 4. Because of its location in a run-of-the-mill strip mall, there's free parking right next to the venue. Odd, I know. Overall, it's not the best but it certainly doesn't suck. As long as tickets are cheap and they bring good acts, I'm cool with the venue. read more

Came for Lil Texas, who we absolutely love! All supporting musicians were phenomenal! Could not have asked for better music. : Due to COVID we were all sitting at tables and needed to wait for service to get drinks and/or food. We got in at 9:15, 15 minutes after doors opened, it wasn't busy yet... we saw a server at 9:36 and MISTAKENLY ordered only fries, no drinks. The back staff who brought out the fries in a timely manner and who was awesome, said we needed to order drinks and more food with the server. So we flagged her down, multiple times, as we were only 10 feet from the bar area where she kept walking back and forth to... upon blatantly ignoring us, she said she'd be right back... an hour goes by and nothing. So we just decide to close the check because what's the point. TWO SETS later, she brings us the check. The most annoying part was that the tables around and those with a different server were being handed drinks very frequently! We had barely interacted with this lady, there's no way we could've rubbed her the wrong way. Long story short, we have tickets to an event tomorrow and we'd rather lose our money by not going than spend anymore here.
