Could not have asked for better music. : Due to COVID we were all sitting at tables and needed to wait for service to get drinks and/or food. We got in at 9:15, 15 minutes after doors opened, it wasn't busy yet... we saw a server at 9:36 and MISTAKENLY ordered only fries, no drinks. The back staff who brought out the fries in a timely manner and who was awesome, said we needed to order drinks and more food with the server. So we flagged her down, multiple times, as we were only 10 feet from the bar area where she kept walking back and forth to... upon blatantly ignoring us, she said she'd be right back... an hour goes by and nothing. So we just decide to close the check because what's the point. TWO SETS later, she brings us the check. The most annoying part was that the tables around and those with a different server were being handed drinks very frequently! We had barely interacted with this lady, there's no way we could've rubbed her the wrong way. Nahhhhh. Place isn't worth the time or money to come. Drinks are way over priced for what kind of venue this is. $14 for a well drink... Unbelievable. Reason I didn't leave earlier is because a friend was performing. I know you will be drunk but please resist eating the food here. Some of the items are precooked and left out on the grill where flies and other pests are free to roam on. When you order it, they just quickly fire it up, add some condiments. Was assaulted by security at this place along with my family while I was working an event at this venue. Not every moment calls for violence. This is something you should teach your security staff. If you want a safe place to party this is definitely not the place. Security is supposed to protect its patrons and employees not chock them out until they lose consciousness and throw females down the stairs for not closing on time. I was non violent and camera footage will show security were the first to act violently and lay hands on people. read more

Everything was good up until I needed water. Water was available for $8 up until about 1am. The bartenders went home and we were told we couldn't get any water because they left. We were forced to drink the tap water from the sink in the bathroom. We begged a worker to get us water after doing so and he, reluctantly, got us one cup of water from the bar. Not enough. We were willing to pay for water, but there was none available. I believe it's illegal for an establishment to have no access to clean water?? My fiancé and I went on a Thursday to see a couple of Djs perform and it was absolutely amazing!! Very well organized and the staff were really nice! We will for sure be coming again to see more djs perform! The only downside were how expensive the drinks were but we were not surprised. Just be aware of $25 drinks and spending a load of money. They really rip you off on drinks so drink as much beforehand so you don't spend much in the venue! Either than that it was top notch! read more

I went on a Wednesday and it was pretty dead. The outside was very nice. Super air conditioned inside. The water was 10$!!!!! I literally just grabbed a cup and drank from the sink. The security was also very kind in letting me go to my car for an emergency. The music was pretty good but it just sucked cause not that many people were there. read more

It's a small, cool venue out in the OC Area, second time here, caught Lil Texas (Diamond Dallas) killingit with his techno set. Got in and met up with a crew that had a 5 top Table, during the set i notice a roach running on the floor where we were at, it crawled over a friends shoe, I kicked it off and crushed it then kicked it away from our area. Mentioned it to security about it, cause they are strict about leaving your area even an inch in the "hallway", but didn't hear anything about it except they'll get to it even after they didn't believe it was there. First of all NO ONE EVER answers the phone ... there's NO info anywhere about anything other than their 18+ nights and even then it's super limited ... a group of us tried to go one night for a going away party and to try and figure it all out for ourselves, since we couldn't seem to find any answers to our questions, and NOPE walked up and walked away. Might as well just go downtown and dance. Plus, You want me to pay 30+ bucks for a random DJ set on a Saturday night, when theres a huge group of us and we're going to spend on drinks. This venue becomes overly crowded and the wait for the bathroom is about 30 minutes for the women's restroom. There is NO ventilation!!! Focus Tuesday is basically my local dive bar where I go to visit all my friends. But, the venue is far from being dingy and dirty like a dive. I have had nights where I spent $0 on glist not drinking, and other nights when I ball outta control and spend over $100 on a bar tab buying everything they have to offer. I haven't had a bad time at this new location. The staff from Emily scanning my tickets, the security guy that reminds me of Carl Cox and the bathroom guy are the nicest. They recognize me every time I show up. Production, DJ line up and friend line up are all always on point. Much props to Billings, Non-Fiction and the crew for all the hard work they put in to make this the best spot to be on Tuesdays for all these years! read more

I live within walking distance from this venue and am so FED up with the owner and management! How many times does the whole neighborhood has to call/text your venue to complain about your patrons, only for the pure facts that there's drunken patrons passed out in front of people's houses, patrons parking in spaces that aren't even parking spots, and trash left EVERYWHERE every single time there's an event! Since there are a lot of senior citizens that live in this neighborhood, they do not feel safe when inconsiderate teeny boppers are being loud and obnoxious, as well as leaving shit all over our little cul-de-sac. So many of our neighbors have to spend so much out of pocket to build higher walls, install bright lights to deter the patrons, but does the venue give a shit? We've all taken turns to call the HB police and we're tired of this! Gonna look into parking passes for the whole neighborhood so that we can tow cars that don't have a parking pass. Keep in mind that a lot of us have contacted the owner directly and he keeps promising he's gonna send "guards" to clean the trash or let patrons know not to park for the future but as I'm writing this, I had just gotten home and saw our neighborhood overcrowded AGAIN. Owner is inconsiderate and won't respond to my texts even though we can get his business shut down. read more

Came here for the first time to see Billy Kenny's Extended Set 2017 hosted by Focus OC. In terms of parking, it wraps around the whole building, so if you are unable to find parking in the lots, be prepared to go zig-zag around for a while. The line we waited in was approximately 30 min (with tickets purchased). The actual venue was pretty interesting, the main bar is somewhat right by the entrance as soon as you walk in. The main stage was crowded and small. Forget that. But they had a second level that you take stairs towards that had a bar, and some wall seats that lined the wall and the back corner. Now that area was pretty nice, since there was a good amount of room to move around. They had a outside seating area where there were a couple selling Mexican food to attendees. Like the place, they have good artists play here sometimes and DJs, Bartenders are nice. I'm not giving it a 5 star because someone from their staff can be rude. I've been going there a few times and there is this one waiter who was giving me an attitude. Oh and don't pregame in the lot or even wait in ur car for other people. The "Head" of security was trying to tell me to go somewhere else and wait for my friends that it's either go inside or go somewhere else because I couldn't wait there in our own car. Left, came back and he sees me again but this time it was because my friends got there, and tells me "I hate to ruin your night but you are not coming inside". This is for the Kaskade redux set. Buying tickets was the worst. There was never a purchase link that worked, just kept looping in circles. Someone finally posted a working link on the FB event page and said it was given to them by an employee. I saw many people asking for a refund on the page because tickets couldn't be resold and they couldn't make it. The company stated all tickets were sold out and none would be sold at the event. LIARS. I WAS IN THE BATHROOM AND TWO GIRLS ASKED ME HOW MUCH I PAID. WHEN I ASKED WHY THEY WANTED TO KNOW THEY SAID THEY WANTED TO COMPARE IT TO THE PRICE THEY PAID AT THE DOOR. A lot of people hanging out in the patio seemed to know the staff very well and some never went inside when kaskade was on and was still outside when I went outside for a breather. Makes me think this place really did hold tickets back for their friends rather than letting kaskade fans in. Came here early and parking was free and easy. My boyfriend bought a drink inside and was charged 13$ I bought the same drink outside and was charged 15$. I don't understand the price difference at different bars. The fog machine was heavy and a bit much. I realize this was a sold out event but it was way overcrowded. I had a great time while kaskade was on, but with the overcrowding it got hot fast. Came here for the first time this past weekend for a show. Some pros: Bathrooms are clean. I like the floor area and especially the loft standing area. 3 bars so you get drinks fast. We went to Jeremy out back who is so friendly, so we kept going back to him. I like that they offer to double drinks for only $4 more. He DEFINITELY doubled them because... My fiancé left his phone somewhere. We don't know where. Anyway, we called and called till right after closing someone named Austin answered my fiancé's phone. He said he was an assistant manager and that they found his phone while cleaning up and promised to keep the phone there till we could pick it up. We called their office number on Sunday to no avail, but Austin had given us his direct line. I started to feel like his phone was just taken from someone who lied to us. LUCKILY we were wrong! I went back to pick up the phone and Austin had his coworker David open the door after closing time for me to go through their lost and found bucket and lo and behold his phone was there! With his ID and debit card in there! I will 100% return and bring friends to this venue just based on the integrity of their staff. Thank you for all your help Austin! read more
