Been coming here for ages, brought my buddy visiting for a quick lobsta roll and clam strips. The place has been here for ages, packed during the summer. Service is order at the counter, grab your tray, load up on tarter sauce and sit. Simple. Food is decent, pretty much the same for ever. Its 7.5/10. Although people are complaining about the rising prices. Its the sign of the times.

The Clam Box is a great spot right across from the beach for a classic New England seafood meal. You order at the counter, grab your tray when it's ready, and can sit inside or outside, with sauces and utensils available to grab yourself. We ordered the Fisherman's Plate with fries, coleslaw, fried fish, scallops, shrimp, and clam bellies, plus a side of chicken tenders, and everything was fresh, crispy, and satisfying. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm craving fried seafood.

We didn't want to head back home without having lunch with our daughter on our last day in Boston. As she's exploring areas near her home and venturing into neighboring towns, Quincy, MA caught her attention- a coastal escape from Boston's bustle. With Quincy Bay just across the street, the residential side of town has a charming seaside vibe. It actually reminded us a bit of City Island in NY. Quincy offers that same coastal charm- but on a much grander and less chaotic scale. Quincy, MA has its fair share of seafood joints. One spot we actually went to down the road serve lobster rolls with mayo. In our family, it's buttered or bust. Because let's be real, that's the only right way to roll. If you're a pescatarian, The Clam Box is your paradise. From broiled seafood to crispy fried options, I think they have raw clams (no oysters) and of course buttery lobster rolls (they've got the mayo version too), this place has it all. Clam B. isn't fancy by any means- but what it lacks in style, it makes up for it in seafood options. We knew exactly what we wanted from the start: 3 buttered lobster rolls, 3 waters to quench our thirst, 1 crab cake, and a large order of fried oysters. Everything hit the spot nicely. Though the lobster rolls could've used a touch more butter and the bread felt more like a thick slice of bread than the classic split-top roll. All it really needed was a proper hot dog bun to hold all that delicious meat in place. Service seemed fine. And at just a little over $180, Clam B. isn't exactly cheap for a no-frills joint, but the lobster quality and portions seriously justify the price- especially if seafood is your love language.

This seasonal gem was more than I expected! The food, the customer service and the quality of the food stands out the most. The outdoor seating option was also a added bonus.

Great spot for seafood on the water! Awesome views, ample seating indoors and outside on the patio. Everything tasted really fresh. Everything seemed to be good sized except for the scallop plate we got - the portions on that felt a bit skimpy. We didn't have to wait too long for our food which was nice.

Fried fresh seafood with a spectacular view! What more can you ask for?!?! This place is casual dining; no waiter service. Order & pay at the counter and you're given a number; when your order is ready, they will call your number. In the meantime, get your utensils, napkins and sauces while you wait, then grab a table. We came from out of town, and we're so lucky that The Clam Box was open so early in the season! Not only were they open, but it wasn't crowded at all, and we got parking right across the street. Don't expect this during their peak season! Apparently, this place is very popular, and I can see why! We opted for the 3-Way platter ($31.99), which is great for those like us who want to try many items! The platter also came with coleslaw & lemon, and a very generous portion of French fries. We chose these 3 items: - Fried Scallops: perfection! - Fried Whole Belly Clams: they were on the small side, but great nonetheless. - Fried Oysters: Very Good! See my photos for their many menu items. There is something for everyone! Note for NYers: this place is equivalent to Johnny's Reef in City Island! Yup, great stuff! Go!

The Clam Box is the place to go get your fried seafood! They have tasty clam chowder, fresh clam bellies, and scallops. It is located right on Wollaston Beach and has outdoor seating available. This is a great place to visit for fresh fried seafood, especially during the summer time!

Classic spot for fried seafood in Quincy close to the beach. There's plenty of parking along the beach but it tends to be packed when there's good weather. The seafood plate had a generous portion of seafood for the money. I recommend this option if you want a bit of everything. It's perfectly fried with a good coating of breading. You get a good size for the fish and I really liked the jumbo shrimp with how it was cut to make a double curved shape. My favorites are the scallops and clam belly, they are just classics. The staff are friendly and the seafood is fresh.

To start we shared the Guacamole which came with tortilla chips and some sort of crema which was an nice addiction. When we finished the chips, but still had a guac left, they brought out more chips which was such a nice touch. For our meals, I got the carne asada tacos, as well as we got the fish tacos & the Cali Bowl and I really have no notes for any of the them! the tacos only had 2 in each dish but they were filled enough where it felt like enough food for a meal, and the bowl was large and a huge portion! We sat outside and while it was a beautiful day, the high top chairs were super uncomfortable, the actual seat was so small & they had no back, we found ourselves feeling pretty uncomfortable quickly. The service there is decent, but we only saw our waitress a few times and had to order another item & obtain the check through the manager walking. we sat outside on the pier overlooking the boats and the view is gorgeous. like you're already eating good food and then you look up and you have that. really hard to beat.

Despite its size, Wealth is good for larger groups, with its sizeable round tables with lazy susans. Plus the restaurant is quite clean and does not have that dumpster or unknown stench that I detect at some Chinatown spots. The seafood here is strong, but other offerings are good as well. Their noodles have good wok flavor and are generously-portioned. I like their salt & pepper chicken wings as a party food or appetizer. Though a bit pricey, their black pepper beef on a sizzling pan is a bit of a show-stopper, with pretty tenderized beef. Even the vegetable entrees aren't bad as well.
