The Clubhouse is an adorable hot dog and ice cream stand on the Monon in SoBro. The tiny house has no indoor seating, but offers three picnic tables for guests outside. Food is prepared to order. We ordered at the window outside, but you can go inside and order as well. They serve soft serve ice cream, pretzels, hot dogs and mini pies (that are quite popular). We both ordered the hot dogs which come with a side of popcorn. We sat at one of the a picnic tables, which are immaculate. I love how super clean everything is. There was a bit of a wait (15 minutes) for the food to come out. The hot dogs are plump, juicy, delicious and filling. The dog was covered generously with toppings. The popcorn is a nice change. A bowl of water is out for dogs and pup cups are free. There is dedicated parking near the building.

There should be 3 more of these along the Monon trail. It's such a simple concept, snacks and ice cream, but so well executed in a charming and nostalgic way. I love this place.

I've always been fond of this little shack of joy that sits right along the Monon on East 54th Street in SoBro. And yet, if we're being honest, it seems like the majority of businesses that have tried to make this work have been here a relatively short period of time. I thought for sure LICK would make it, though I've often wondered how this entirely carry-out shop can survive during winter. I'm pretty sure "The Clubhouse" has a chance at finding out. Operated by the same team behind Pots & Pans Pie Co., The Clubhouse bills itself as a "nostalgic trailside outpost." offerings range from soft serve ice cream to hot dogs, warm pretzels, popcorn, bakery items, and more. I believe they also have mini-pot pies. True confession - never in my life have I had a pot pie. My mom loved those things, but I'm not the most adventurous spirit when it comes to dining. Word of caution for disabled folks. There's pretty huge step to get up to the main entrance. Even as a very active wheelchair user, there's no way I can do it without getting out of my wheelchair (which I don't do much these days). There is, however, a side "window." I don't know how much they regularly use it, but when I was seen one of the employees opened it up and helped me out. It was great service and very appreciated. As it was chilly out, I was tempted to get something hot. However, silly me opted for a "Big Guy" chocolate shake. It was nicely created in a timely manner and delivered through that same window. The employee I met was super friendly and helpful. In theory, I typically dock a star for accessibility issues. And yes, it would be relatively simple to address the issue. However, they have a workable solution with the side window and seem to utilize it enthusiastically. Since there's no "dine-in" option, I'm not missing out on an experience others are getting. Since the overall experience was quite positive, I'm sticking with a 5-star review as I love the business, employees were friendly, product was great with fair pricing, and I just love this trailside location so much. The Clubhouse had a steady stream of customers even on a chilly day - so, here's hoping this little indie jewel in SoBro will get the love it deserves and be a terrific extension of Pots & Pans.

Such a cute setup! Service was phenomenal! Brought home the Strawberry whip/Vanilla in a cup "dipped" in chocolate, was such a delightful refreshing dessert! Also picked up a blueberry pie !

Friendly customer service. Tried the strawberry whip and vanilla in cake batter dip. Great spot for treats when out walking the monon.

We had a cute little late night visit here last weekend for dessert. We opted for the warm chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla soft serve ice cream. It hit the spot! You really can't go wrong with any of the baked goods here since it's the same folks behind pots and pans just down the road. I also have a variety of other snacking and nostalgic items available on the menu. I selfishly hope they pull in a few more of the baked items from the other shop at this location. They do have a few small savory pot pies. There are a few picnic benches in front of the shop to sit and enjoy your meal or you can work your way down The Monon, which is just at the doorstep. I hope folks rally and support this business as we enter the winter months ahead. They were quite busy during our Friday night visit but kept the line moving. It can be a little awkward with how small the space is to place your order and wait inside. Thrilled to have this fun and playful spot in SoBro!

What a great addition to the neighborhood! I love this tiny shack keeps getting new life but really hope this one sticks! It sounds like the owners properly insulated the place for winter so fingers crossed! My husband and I are able to walk from our house and tried it for lunch. The hotdogs were delicious! I love popcorn but knew I couldn't (re:shouldn't) eat a whole bag. Lo and behold the hotdog came with some! Can't wait to try the other flavors! I will say that I love ice cream and hope we're able to get a rotating flavor. I got a pretzel but then she realized they had run out (this was before the grand opening) but said a truck was on the way. The truck pulled up while eating and she was able to make it quickly and bring it out to us! Seems to be busy every time we drive or walk by!

I was really eager for this place to open, and it's already become one of my favorite little gems along the Monon. I came by during their soft opening and again for the grand opening, and both visits were great. The staff was friendly, upbeat, and seemed genuinely happy to be there, which made the experience even better. The hot dogs were solid, but the mini chicken pot pie was the real standout. Absolutely delicious, but no surprise since it's from Pots & Pans (who owns the place). The setup is fun and relaxed, perfect for grabbing something tasty before or after a walk on the trail. Such a great addition to the neighborhood!

This is the PERFECT addition to the monon trail! I would have bee ecstatic for just ice cream, but now can stop for hotdogs, pretzels, and more! Oh and it's not just any ice cream... it is soft serve!! I feel like soft serve ice cream is so hard to find in Indy, so love that this is what the club house serves. It is absolutely adorable being decorated for the holidays. There are tables outside where you can sit and enjoy. We ordered from the window, but you can also go inside where there is even more snacks to buy. You also can create basically anything you want with all the toppings they have. The man who took our order was friendly too. we know this will be a regular spot for us in warmer weather for Monon walks!

Located in Broad Ripple along the Monon next to Mama Corolla's in a little "clubhouse." They have a walk up window as well as a door to enter. They had popcorn with the good butter they add on top, different type of hotdogs, soft - pretzels, mini pies from Pots & Pans who own the clubhouse, nachos and dole whips as well as ice cream. They have pup cups for dogs. They've added coffee and hot chocolate. They have other items as well. On a nice sunny warm day mid 50's for November here it was nice to be outside and enjoying good food! They have two picnic tables and two benches outside. It's a nice little place to enjoy the weather and good food!

We stopped by the clubhouse for an after school treat on the way the the library. My daughter had the cinnamon sugar pretzel and I had the mini apple pie; both were really good and inexpensive. They had so many good options that it was hard to choose. The service was quick and it definitely had a nostalgic feel to it. We will definitely be returning for a quick and fun after school treat.

The service was amazing and I love having a spot next to the monon. The vibes are unmatched even for winter. They lost a star because the icing was cold (and it's very cold out so super hard to dig out). I really miss the Costco cinnamon pretzel and this really helped to fill that void (but pricier ).

Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum! (This should be my whole review. lol)…read more Nothing fancy about this place. Just a small mom and pop dive that serves hot dogs, but the food is great. I ordered a charred jumbo Belushi (1/4lb beef Vienna hotdog, beef chili, shredded cheddar cheese - I held the onions) and a side of cheese fries. This is probably the best hot dog in town, and the chili on the fries was amazing. The chili by itself would be a good meal, but that's not an option on the menu. They might have the best fries in town as well; they're hand-cut. I enjoyed the cheese sauce on the fries too. For the future though, I will order a regular Belushi instead of a jumbo. It tastes amazing, but the jumbo just has a regular sized bun so the bun isn't big enough to hold the hot dog and all of the toppings. I was messy eating the jumbo Belushi because the bun couldn't hold everything. Having said that, the jumbo Belushi was darn good!! The staff was great too. They're kind, they brought the food out quickly, and they keep the restaurant clean. The person behind the counter recommended the Jordan (Vienna beef hotdog, beef bacon, grilled onions, sport peppers, mayo, mustard) and onion rings. It's hard to imagine a restaurant having something better on the menu than what I ate though.

Beef bacon, grilled onions, sport peppers, mayo, and mustard. So much flavor and perfectly balanced. The staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. It's a no-frills spot, but that's part of the charm. You can get the dogs boiled or grilled. Definitely go with boiled. A GREAT meal, zero fuss. I'll absolutely be back.

I went with a Malibu and ginger ale, and it was served in this cute glass, I loved it! We were all so hungry, so we started out with a large order of fries, and they are a standout. They disappeared fast, came served on paper, and were crispy, hot, and delicious. We ordered the 2 10-piece wings (the biggest order available), including one batch cooked extra crispy. The wings were good, and I especially enjoyed the Fat Dan's hot BBQ sauce over the regular BBQ. I really liked the extra crispy wings. My boys also wanted burgers. One ordered the Wake N Bake Burger and the other got the Fat Dan's Burger. Both looked tasty, and neither of them complained. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between sports bar and family friendly restaurant. There is seating both inside and outside, and when the weather is nice, they open the large doors to create an open-air feel. That's where we sat, and I enjoyed it. Service was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated since my family arrived hungry. This is a solid spot for burgers, wings, and fries.

I drove by here all the time and then heard it was featured on Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives. I had been curious to try it out for a while now and I finally logged a couple visits. At the moment, they're only open for the drive through and curbside pickup while they're under construction to introduce indoor seating. I suppose I'll have to visit again to be able to rate the ambiance. I've had friendly interactions with both times I came. One time, I had the food brought out to my car, while the other time I had to drive back around to pick up my order. Both times, I got the empanada combo and that was well worth it! For $17 you get three empanadas, some churros and Dulce de leche, and house made kettle chips. I'll rank my favorite empanadas in order: Oreo cheesecake (oh yeah, you read that right!) Birria Argentine chorizo Creamy chicken S'mores Cheesy pineapple bacon These are all great. This was a hard list to make. I would definitely recommend all of them if you have the chance to order more. I also want to try all the empanadas on their menu eventually. The kettle chips are on the less salty side, which I prefer. I think they have a hint of sweetness to them. The churros... on their own they're pretty decent but the Dulce included? Next level. I always save my leftover Dulce to find something else to dip in it. How I have leftover is beyond me but I won't complain! Overall, I think Che Chori has a pretty expansive menu, considering that empanadas, burgers, and pizza are very different things. I'm not sure how the others stack up, but I will definitely be back for the rest of the empanadas!
