Tried the "World Famous" Vanilla Latte... Hubby Still Makes Mine Better Stumbled upon this coffee spot right next to the delicious Lou croissants nearby, and since my husband is a huge espresso coffee lover, I decided to surprise him with a nice iced coffee drink after our pastry stop. Anytime we try a new coffee spot, we either stick to our usuals or try whatever they're most known for. Since this was very spur of the moment and I didn't get a chance to Yelp-stalk the menu beforehand, I went straight for what they were apparently famous for -- the "World Famous Vanilla Latte" with whole milk. Service was very fast, and I believe they have maybe about two outdoor tables, but no indoor seating. Definitely more of a quick grab-and-go coffee stop. We ordered the 16 oz Vanilla Latte for $7.50, and I'd give it about a 7/10. Now every coffee spot makes their lattes a little differently, and while I know lattes naturally have more milk, this one had a bit too much milk for my preference. I will say though -- the drink itself was very smooth and easy to drink overall. But "world famous"? Hmm... I wouldn't quite go that far. I've definitely had better vanilla lattes elsewhere, and honestly... I probably still prefer the way my husband makes his at home lol. This was one of those drinks where you sip it and think, "Yeah, it's decent," but not something I'd go out of my way for again or crave later. Still, friendly service and a nice quick stop if you're already in the area! Happy drinks!

Ok for coffee, but the orders kept getting screeed up. We just want a cup of coffee. Why did it get to be so complicated? On a busy intersection corner that just seemed to be asking for an incident of some sort. We should've stopped at a McDonald's. Faster service and better coffee. What do ya want for LA? CritDicks

Lady at the register was very nice . Americano was strong . (Added maple syrup and a splash of oatmilk). Burrito wasn't extraordinary but it does the job if you're in a pinch and just wanna grab something quickly . Keep in mind burrito is premade so you can't modify it .

A great experience this time at Alfred Coffee. Ladies at the registers were attentive and took our order immediately. We ordered and our drinks were ready within 5 or so minutes. It was perfect because we had a meeting to get to.

Alfred Coffee is one of our favorites coffee spots. This is the first time we've visited this Alfred Coffee Burbank location since we weren't aware there's one at Burbank. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and found parking right in front of Alfred Coffee. As usual staff was great, engaging and friendly. Alfred Coffee staff always provides excellent customer service and delicious coffee. We ordered our favorites, the World Famous Vanilla Latte Iced and Matcha Latte Iced. As always, Alfred Coffee does not disappoint. You can taste the espresso and vanilla yet it's not too sweet and oversaturated. The matcha was on point and a perfect balance with the latte. Thank you Alfred Coffee and can't wait to stop by tomorrow.

Parking is not great but we got lucky. Its all street parking so you might have to be searching but just requires a little patience. It's outside only with a small patio. Nice but the chairs are kind of wobbly. The staff taking our order was very friendly and happy to answer my questions and food allergy concern. I ordered the Chaggacino iced. Delicious! Its a mushroom coffee that I am not familiar with. Happy I tried it. Not too sweet and had a slightly different flavor to it. Subtle. Would live to return to this spot. Thank you!

Went here because I got a $20 gift card for my birthday. I know this place can be expensive, so I didn't think I'd be able to get much, but someone posted a photo of the pastries menu, so I was able to get 4 pastries which I'm quite happy about. I got 2 pain au chocolats, a chocolate chip cookie, and an almond croissant. When I unpacked them at home, I was so happy that I literally did a little dance. I did go over by $1 and tried to pay by cash, but the cashier said they didn't take cash, so I had to pay it by card. This place is more of a kiosk, so you can read the signs with the menu outside, or do what I did and look at the signs people posted on Google Maps ahead of time, then order at the little window. Afterwards, you go around to the side to wait for your order at the pick up window. I went around 8:30 in the morning and there were already around 4 people waiting for their orders ahead of me. It's all very casual and in the short time I was there, I saw and petted 3 dogs, and had small talk with one of the dog owners. Parking here is free on the side streets and easier than its other locations, but even then I still had to park at the very end of the block and walk back to the kiosk. There are also a bunch of yellow curbs which mean drop off or pick up of passengers only, but I still saw people park there anyway. There are a few bistro tables, chairs, and umbrellas outside if you'd like to eat and drink at the spot, but for the most part, most of us picked up our orders and took them home.

Cute little coffee spot in Burbank. I came by around 9am on a weekday and had no problem finding a two-hour street parking spot right out front. Super easy. I ordered ahead on their app and the wait was about 15 minutes, which felt a little long for the morning but not too bad. I tried the iced sparkling americano. They don't charge extra for the sparkling version, which I think is awesome. Price is $4.50 no matter if you get a 12, 16, or 24 oz. Pretty sure it's just two shots for all sizes though, so the big ones might taste watered down. The drink itself was actually really refreshing. It has this slight sweetness but I think that's just from the sparkling water. Definitely lighter than a latte and perfect if you want something caffeinated but not heavy. There are only three small tables outside, so seating is limited, but it works if you just want to sit for a bit. It's also right by Lou The French, so next time I'm planning to grab a pastry there to go with my coffee. Overall, nothing fancy, but I'd come back. The sparkling americano was different and worth trying.

Came here specifically to try the Matchaga, a matcha mushroom latte, and ordered a small hot one. I was a little disappointed right away because the color wasn't very vibrant, especially since they mention using ceremonial grade matcha. Flavor wise, it leaned much more toward the mushroom than the matcha, and while it wasn't sweet (which I usually don't mind), the balance just didn't work for me. On the positive side, the shop itself is really cute and there wasn't much of a wait at all. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but it's not a drink I'd come back for.

This Alfred Coffee is located in one of the busiest areas in Burbank. I was not impressed with this location at all. I placed an online order ahead of time and had to wait 10 minutes or so for my order to be ready. They should provide better customer service for the prices they charge. I felt that employee was bothered by my presence there. No greeting, no calling names ( I had to ask, if my order was ready). Then he handed it to me. This location is mostly pick up location. There are couple of tables outside and ordering is through the window. Parking is a challenge too.

First time at this location and I'm sad to say it fell flat. Upon reaching the order window the barista let me know the only drinks available to order are drip coffees, teas, and a cold brew. I opted for the cold brew with almond milk and it was meh. Something about it tasted acidic and just not enjoyable to drink. Ive never had any issues with the Pasadena location and this is my second experience at a different location that has fallen short of excellence.

I loved their World Famous Latte! It was so good and aromatic. It included 2 shots of expresso and I opted with oat milk. Ice to coffee ratio was perfect :)

It's the hot coffee you brew plus ice. Last I checked, that was the most common coffee order in the US. Ended up with a cold brew, which is not the same thing as iced coffee (and again... a "world famous coffee house" should know this). Cold brew has a different flavor profile and more caffeine. Either the employee is really uninformed about the most basic things about coffee or this business refuses to pour their normal medium/dark/flavored roast coffee over ice because they charge twice as much for cold brew... neither of which is acceptable. If you want to wait in a 30-minute line with kids running into you and the decor completely unattended, and overpay for a drink that wasn't what you ordered... this is the place for you. This cafe is run by a family of wonderful, empowering women who support their community and their customers with engaging events and delicious coffee. When I first moved to Burbank I was given a warm welcome by the ladies behind the counter and since then I'm happy to be a regular. Their drinks are on the more expensive side compared to larger corporate chains, but the taste and quality well makes up for the expense. They have a comfortable selection of bakery items, a diverse drink menu for all kinds of pallets, and signature lattes that hit the spot. This location offers a free library where customers can take a book and leave a book, reading in the shop or taking home, with an honor code of being expected to keep said book in good shape and to return it eventually. Their book vending machine is a huge hit, the interior is beautiful and relaxing and their location has a restroom. On the weekends they invite other small sellers, clothing entrepreneurs, bread makers, up-in-coming pottery shops, and more to use their store as a venue to expand their business. The Three Sisters' dedication to their community goes as far as sharing their success, which I admire! The cons of this location however, are that I firmly believe they've outgrown their space. Lines often form out of the cafe regularly and onto the street. It can take quite some time to wait when this happens. When they have sellers inside too--it becomes difficult to move it's so crowded. There's often not enough tables and chairs to go around, and it's uncomfortable to wait outside when it's sunny with zero shade or seats. While I love the shop encouraging people to stay and do their work, or relax, the limited seating capacity makes it so many customers are often left standing. I hope Three Sisters considers moving to a larger space, adapting outdoor seating to the experience, or grows their business enough to comfortably open multiple locations in the future to give their dedicated consumers and neighbors more space to enjoy their products.

I was very embarrassed to go up to the counter and ask for a redo, but did it anyways. They redid it without a hassle and I was very thankful. Me and my friend sat down, and I tried my friend's drink and commented that it wasn't sweet. Which is what she ordered, I didn't say it loud or nasty or anything that would excuse the following. The owner then yelled very loudly (I'm not exaggerating either) from the counter and asked very rudely if I didn't like my drink again, thinking that my friend's drink was mine. The entire coffee shop went silent, and it was very, very awkward. I was humiliated, especially since I was already embarrassed to ask for a redo. I stated that it was my friend's drink, which my friend responded and said that it was fine. She didn't say anything back other than a clipped "okay." I've been in the food service for a long time and have been a manager a few times as well. If I ever suspected that someone did not like what they had received I would come over privately and ask them. I understand that we all have bad days but it was highly unprofessional and embarrassing. Who would want to sit for another hour after you practically got yelled at for not liking a messed up drink. I will keep returning since their drinks are lovely, (especially their strawberry matcha!). The atmosphere is very cozy, and I'm happy to be a regular. I'm just hoping that the owner reflects on how she handles these type of situations for the future.

Service: 10/10! The workers kept the line moving and were quick to take and start orders even while people were still in line to get to the register. The line moved quick and the workers were kind and efficient! It had a busier feel than other coffee shops I go to, there was just a higher sense of urgency in the drink prep and in the customer base. I kept on feeling like I was in the way just going from waiting to order, to paying, to waiting for my drink. I've never had so many people have so many reasons to brush past me in such a short period of time. It might not be a spot I continue to go to just based on that alone, but it is worth trying and might be YOUR complete new favorite. It has the charm of a classic coffee shop and has a very "Stars Hollow" feel, which is fun, especially so close to WB. I can see why people like this spot. It feels genuine and they do what they do well. My iced latte was okay- it had a very creamy texture. My boyfriend said his didn't taste like anything special. But we were happy to have tried some place new. Definitely check it out! In terms of dietary restrictions kind of food options- I only glanced because I wasn't getting anything, but they did have a gluten free muffin and a couple of pre-packaged vegan snacks, but I didn't otherwise see other vegan options (there was a spot for a vegan carrot cake, but they were sold out). So plan accordingly! Their pastries looked great! So if you're not dairy free/vegan, you'll find something
