I tend to just go to this coffee house for the free Internet when I want to get out of the house. Its located in downtown Burbank next to the mall. Its a good location and has a little area out front with tables and chairs. I don't really like any of their drinks cause they use powder and not syrups. I prefer Starbucks which is also less expensive (crazy I know...but true plus the Internet is free here!) I usually just get iced tea or a regular coffee here and maybe a hot chocolate - that was the only drink made with powder I liked. Espresso drinks here tend to be sweeter than I like. The coffee is good and the ambiance is good. I don't love their crushed ice as it dilutes my coffee to quickly. Otherwise basically on par with other chain coffee places. If you're avoiding that S chain maybe try here. read more

I am a huge fan/regular at Coffee Bean, and will actively look for one in whichever area I am currently in. I thoroughly enjoy my favorite Coffee Bean drinks while studying. Not sure why people fuss over starbucks, went to buy giftcards for my employees from this coffee bean and not 1 gift card with a Christmas design, not even a Christmas tree, the only gift card they have comes in blue and red if and with a jewish holiday design, the holiday candelabra on it, really. Walked out very dissapointed. Starbucksba few doors down had many Christmas designs and the actual word Christmas on a few, forget Coffee Bean, never going back. I ask the guy you have any with Christmas design he point to the card, I go what says Christmas? He was like there and is having a hard time finding it, he gave up he goes I don't know but this is the only card we have. That was sad :( read more

Worst customer service. My husband and I love coffee bean our regular spot is the Sherman oaks location in the Westfield mall they are always so friendly and awesome! We were in burbank and said lets stop here since its closer. Walked were greeted like all other coffee beans great walked up to register carolina was just absolutely rude rushing and trying to get the order like hold up let me finish ordering then ask me if I want anything else. Drinks are up my husbands goes to the counter to pick them up and asked the lady for whipped cream. Her reply was you only get whipped cream if you ask for it. My husband told her that he did ask and she said oh she didnt put it in. Ok first of all that's rude just say ok and put the whipped cream in my coffee. As we are waiting for our doubled toasted bagels carolina calls out james james, I'm looking at her like thats not our order name then she turns to another employee and says whatever is name is. Like really if you werent rushing to take our order you would have seen what the name is! And we always asked for doubled toasted bagels so we know they can come out a little toatsed then normal which is fine she let us know one was over toatsed and was going to remake it uh no its fine thats how I like it. My husband and I love coffee bean go here everyday no lie but please hire employees who like therr job and are not rude and rushing and actually like to give good customer service we will never be Returning to this location again the worst! I will drive to a further location or go to our usual spot. read more

I love this place! Free wifi access allows me to work from here as long as I want to. Coffee is better than most places in Burbank and staff are always incredibly friendly and kind. Highly recommend it. read more

I order a Hazelnut Americano topped off with steam milk. However when I got my order it was just a plain americano. Unfortunately I noticed this after I left and had already gotten back to work. The staff is nice but I would suggest better communication for the orders. read more

I'm not a big fan of cbtl or starbucks. Only go these place when there is no options. But I prefer to go cbtl than starbucks. Most of cbtl locations are pretty clean,not crowd and friendly staff. But this one is a little bit below average to me. Always kinda messy, tables and restroom are dirty. But still good location and better than starbuck at corner. read more

I come to this location daily to get my coffee before work. I love their coffee and I usually love the staff but I've come to realize the morning staff is a lot more friendly than in the afternoon. Each time I get coffee in the afternoon the employees are just rude and always get my order wrong. I didn't want to Yelp this, but it has been happening every time. I will continue to be a regular customer for now, but I hope it gets better. read more

Got our order wrong initially but was really kind and tried to work with me to figure it out.

Asked for double expresso and got it with zero crema so the guy did it 2 more times with same results obviously they have no clue of making espresso, do not come here if you want to drink good coffee. read more

Latte is not what it use to be. Employees are great people, but only two people can make a drink in this place, Alicia and the hipster dude in the morning...forgot his name. With the price increase, no longer a daily spot. RIP coffee bean. read more

I have been to this coffee bean several times and each time, I've received my order wrong by the same barista.

I have gone here a couple of times....trying everything but the plain coffee....the problem is....the coffee drinks are always warm and not HOT! This last time I tried the Peppermint Mocha....another disappointment. I did not taste any peppermint and the beverage was just warm. I think I have learned my lesson. read more

I always get an ice blended drink but tonight I wanted something hot. So I ordered a Winter dream tea latte. Took the first sip and it was not "my cup of tea" I hesitated to ask if I could change it. I walked up to the counter and Paul was there to help me. He was so nice and helpful and even took the time to go through some of the tea selections they have. I went with the Strawberry n cream tea latte. Now that's my cup of tea. I will definitely come back. Great customer service! read more

While purchasing a small item I admit I was distracted and was given $5.00 less change than owed. Don't know if the girl was taking advantage of the situation or not. So when I called the store a couple of hours later I spoke to someone who said I could come into the store after 10am the next day (when both he and the manager would be there) and he would give me correct change. He said he'd throw in a free cup of coffee too. Seemed fair enough. When I showed up at 11am neither he nor the manager was there. Felt like I got pranked on top of robbed. Sorry folks, I'll be getting coffee down the street at Starbucks from now on. read more

I love CB and TL but the staff could use a little more training at this location. I live in the neighborhood and prefer CBTL to SB (just down the street). The staff has been friendly enough but the drinks are not consistent. Not sure what is going on but it's frustrating. I ordered an Ice Blended Hazelnut last week on two separate occasions and which was made with vanilla powder and the next time not enough ice (very watery). I tend to hit the one in Toluca Lake or Noho if I'm heading that way instead. On the plus side, it's busy but the service is fast. read more

Staff is nice and the daily brew I got was nice. The restroom is clean. They lose one star because there doesn't seem to be enough space inside for folks to sit. They have outside seating but on a hot day its difficult to sit outside. The display and the paintings inside are nice. Free wi-fi is awesome too. read more

so nicely decorated inside and the staff is very friendly EXCEPT for this one time i had some guy who took my order and i dont remember his name and i dont mean to say this in any way for anyone to get offended but it was some ginger boy who was extremely disrespectful. as he was taking my order he was starring at my mother non stop giving her the death look and when my mother payed he literally took the money out of her hand in the most rude way possible. then when he gave her her change he literally threw it on her hand and the change fell. i regret not asking for the supervisor. I will never forget how he looked at my mom like she was some homeless lady walking in. i believe it was because she was obviously Latina. People like him really disappoint me in todays society.
