Stopped in along my dog walk for an iced latte and a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich. Service was friendly and i got my order quickly. I do have 2 critiques. When they warmed up my sandwich in the microwave, it was way too long, as the cheese melted and flowed right off the sandwich. Also it turned the bread rock hard on one size, making it inedible. Since i had my dogs, i sat outside at the dining tables, but decided to go elsewhere since the tables and seating were all wet from dew. I tried wiping table but it turned to dirty wet muck. It would be nice if someone wiped down tables for outside dining. The ice latte was very good though! read more

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is one of my favorite coffee chains. I was glad to see them open up in a plaza that was once dead for practically a decade. This Coffee Bean is located next to Chipotle across from Sprouts on South Diamond Bar Blvd. Both of which also opened up around the same time as this Coffee Bean like early 2018. This Coffee Bean also has a drive-thru which is rather convenient. My usual is the Vanilla Ice Blended which is perfectly blended thick, rich, smooth, and creamy with the right blend of coffee and vanilla. The slushy consistency is what I like about Coffee Bean's Ice Blended drinks. My second go-to is their Caramel Ice Blended which tastes similar to the Vanilla Ice Blended except for the caramel syrup which adds a nice sweet touch. If I feel a little more adventurous, I get the Cookies and Cream Ice Blended. The drive thru is quick and efficient. Haven't had to wait more than a few minutes for their drinks. The baristas are friendly. Love their ice-blended drinks here! It's been consistently great. Will be back for another visit! read more

Extremely slow drive thru. First time they had to close the drive thru after the car behind us due to being short staffed. Manager came out, placed a cone and sticker on the sign stating drive thru closed come inside. 2nd and 3rd visits were just as slow. Super unprofessional management can't staff properly. While planning for the Totally 80's Prom this year, I found myself at this Coffee Bean a lot for meetings with different businesses and organizations. The fact that this location is conveniently located by the freeway and between all these awesome businesses, makes it an easy pick for me. Not to mention that they actually have decent wifi here as well! There's plenty of seating to choose from. I've never had an issue finding a place to sit. The charging stations are a little more seldom though, so you might have to move around a bit to charge your electronic devices if you're planning on working there longer than expected. Didn't get. Took it back expecting to have drink remade, instead manager dumped out some and randomly added amounts back and a cream cap. Didn't taste right afterward according to my daughter. -girl warming up croissants and bagels literally tossed my daughters chocolate croissant on to the counter. Shows a lack of care if you handle food with such disregard in front of customers. Makes me think she doesn't care about customers. -grey upholstered chairs are stained and dirty . Really should have fabric chairs as they are hard to keep clean vs. faux leather which can be wiped clean. Nasty. I spent over $16 and expect better quality and service that seems like the workers care about their jobs. read more

Since they don't take names when they take your order, they just call your drink when it's done, it's the perfect ideal environment to cause some confusion and get away with a paying customers drink! I ordered the Malibu dream without whipped cream and they made it with whipped cream, I was holding the drink about to ask no whip cream and a lady told me it was hers. I said oh sorry I didn't know and she took the drink. This is by far the worst Coffee Bean location I've ever been to. The drive-thru employees are extremely rude. They do not seem to care about customer service at all. I've had multiple instances of orders being wrong, despite the orders being fairly simple and also repeated back to me. Morning crew here was kinda rude today. I was not greeted or acknowledged when I walked right up to the counter to pick up my mobile order. After being ignored for a few seconds I was finally asked if I was there for a pick up. I was given my food order and saw that my drink order was ready. I stood there for about a minute or two awkwardly, and none of the crew asked me if I was still waiting for anything. So I had to ask if my drink order was ready, which it was as it had been sitting there on the counter, since I walked in. The barista just pointed at it without saying anything and then another person handed me the drink once again with very few words. Very disappointed by the boba quality and customer service here. The boba was hard like old boba texture. It was not chewy and not tasty compared to a different Coffee Bean location. I brought this up to a lady (name started with a C, I believe Charlotte if I'm not mistaken), and she was defensive saying that's how they are bc they come out of a bag. She didn't offer any help until another guy barista offered to replace it. The vibe I got from her was rude as if my complaint was wrong. When my replacement drink arrived the boba was slightly chewier but still hard and not the same good quality (chewy and brown sugar tasting boba) as my recent and previous Coffee Bean experience in a different location. Besides the boba issue, I overall didn't appreciate how I was talked to as if I was a nuisance for making a legitimate complaint. So I recently started back up on coffee and I wanted to check out this place since I have been to this location before. It's one of the newer stores that is in the same lot as Sprouts, Habit, and Mc Donalds. They have a drive-through which I was able to get in on during the morning around 10 AM. The line may be had around 3 cars in front of me which went quite smoothly! The menu though was no updated they said and some things they actually stopped selling. Which was kind of a bummer. I just ordered a regular-sized cup of coffee black and also jalapeno croissant. Overall the spice was really nice and you can ask them to heat it up for you, it tasted super delicious and so unique. Something to spice up the morning for sure. Great experience but didn't actually go inside the store but the drive-through is still pretty good as easy to use! read more

The coffee is good and better than Starbucks because I like the coffee taste better here. The only downside to this location is maybe better training? Like another person posted they are slow and no urgency to get your drink or food to you. If I ordered something to eat and a regular coffee at Starbucks I would get the coffee right away and the food will be in the toaster. Here I just waited for my regular coffee and food. They gave me by food first because they forgot my coffee and another delay. The place is clean with outside seating so it's nice and roomy. Good for studying or working remotely. read more

Issues with every interaction and attempts, ordering by app, in person even tried a phone call once to give the benefit of the doubt or perhaps meeting them at their level and still without fail, order delays, wrong order or order never prepared. Just as I was driving past this new location, I noticed the sign that said that they were now open! Having not had my daily morning coffee fix yet I decided to make my way in. The thing that caught my eye initially was that it is a coffee bean with a drive thru! (I don't know about you, but it's a first for me). The outside has a nice seating area enough for lots of people to sit around, and the inside had plenty of seating as well. The staff was all very nice too. It's been a while since being in a coffee bean and so I'm glad that they moved into diamond bar. I do love their coffee and teas but it's just not worth it to me to drive further to get coffee bean when I have a Starbucks right next to me. Thankfully, now that their in this new location, I'll be able to check it out more often. The one thing I didn't check was if they have free WiFi, and whether or not the speed is any good. DB coffee bean is a great place for group studies although it could be a little loud at times. The staff is also friendly and very helpful. however I've had a handful of experiences now where the employees tell me they will be closing for the night at a time that is much earlier than advertised. Their store hours are shown online and on their windows "5:00 am - 8:30pm" -- however at 6:00pm I'm told the location will be closing in 20 minutes... I understand the dining area closing a little earlier than the drive-through, but I think an hour - 2 hour difference is a little excessive... If this is the case, I think the signs in the store should indicate the dining area will be closing at an earlier time so I can take my study group elsewhere. read more

I'm very dissapointed with this place. It is 1:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon and the coffee shop only open for a drive through. Ran into the barista, he was opening the door to another patron but won't take my order. Must go to drive through he said. To make matter worse, I walk to my car get to the drive through and the guy said unfortunately we are close at 2pm. Left without coffee. A tragic story. This is not a pity me story. Just left the CBTL @DB pissed. Placed mobile order @801am and it app said my 3 drinks were ready for 809am pick up. Got there 812am and it was obvious my mobile order was not ready. At first, I was hopeful seeing an empty mobile app countertop. A little sticker was stuck on the glass divider, obviously not a line or mobile orders waiting; did I mention there was only ONE sticker? Stood there and waited 10 mins when 2 of 3 drinks were finally ready. Our order was nothing complicated:one large red eye, one iced strawberry cream tea, 1-peppermint mocha coffee.....after the 10 min mark, I walked out without the 3rd coffee. Now have to figure out how to get credit back or just skip it and just head to Starbucks for more reliable mobile order. If you see the drive thru line and it's 10 cars long, and you are deciding whether or not it would be faster to just go inside and order, don't do it. I went inside and put my order in before 9 of the cars in the drive thru, yet I literally watched them assist every single one of those 10 cars in the drive-thru with their orders before I got mine. So they clearly prioritize drive thru customers. I waited nearly 20 minutes to get my order inside. You should stop prioritizing drive-thru metrics just to hit your goals, and complete orders as they are placed. read more

I love the hazelnut latte here! Smooth, strong and always satisfying. The iced version isn't as good. I've tried the matcha latte and wish the matcha flavor was stronger. Drive thru line is always cuh-razy! I recommend downloading the app and placing your order there. My drink is always ready by the time I get there and I'm in and out in a jiffy. The app isn't only convenient, but I occasionally get offers and coupons. Staff is friendly. I would much rather come here than Starbucks. read more

This review is for the drive thru. I have been coming here since April 2021 as I totally forgot there was this location. The staff here are incredibly nice and courteous. Even though this Coffee Bean is out of my way and there is actually a closer one (the one with the Krispy Kreme by Puente Hills Mall), I find that this location creates better drinks and has a very friendly staff. My go to drink is an Iced Hazelnut Latte with Oat Milk. The drink is always smooth and blends well together. Very tasty and refreshing. Can taste the hazelnut and the oat milk. I find that this location is consistently excellent and I try to come twice a week. read more
