Great service, great baristas. I work in the building for this CBTL, and this location beats all locations. I've gone to the one in Brea, Cerritos and Cypress, but this particular chain just trumps them all. The service is incredible. People are so welcoming. Even if it's a chain coffee shop, the enthusiastic and warm energy that the employees bring make it seem like a mom-and-pop shop. I am a big fan, and they are even quick to apologize if service is slow. Why do we not have these in Nor. Cali?!?! I've always liked the The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and this location is one of the best of them! I enjoyed just hanging out here with a friend as we sipped on a latte (me!) and a hot chocolate (him). The service is stellar and our barista has an adorable smile. The parking was easy enough for us but to be fair, it was about 10am on a Saturday when I came. Lots of places to sit and people watch. Need to get one of these in the Bay Area!!!! read more

i'm not a big fan of foofoo coffee. regular with fake sugar and a little half and half. no muss, no fuss. i got a $25 gift card for CBTL... i'm going to be using that thing for a while. this location is pretty convenient to me since it's right off Imperial on my way to work. i can see how the parking can get a little difficult depending on the time of day due to the limited spaces in front. i haven't had a problem yet. the service i've received has been quick and friendly. the coffee is no AM/PM, but, until i get a gift card for them, i'll keep using mine here. i've come by 3 times. still have A LOT of $$$ left on the card... excellent. read more

Super friendly staff. Good amount if small tables, free wifi with code on the tv, outdoor seating. Very limited amount of free parking spots. There's free street parking too. Located under building full of workers, so patio seating gets taken up quick during lunch. read more

I'm still a CBTL newbie but was told to try their Moroccan Mint Tea Latte since there isn't one nearby me in NorCal. It was pretty good although I still am scratching my head as to why they add chocolate in there...the place itself has lots of seating, limited outdoor parking, and free 2 hours of wifi until they cut you off for 10 minutes. Convenience and near the airport so right now this is my favorite one! read more

I love The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf - and since it's hard to comeby in NorCal - I take advantage of it whenever I'm in LA. Since I had training a nearby office, this would my first stop in the morning. The first two days I ordered the Vanilla Iced Latte - so delish and kept me going through training. The last morning I was in LA, I decided to order something different. I tried their English Breakfast Tea Latte and I have to say - it was soooo yummy! The tea was great, mixed with their vanilla powder and milk. I'm such a fan and wish The Coffee Bean was nearby. The protein picnic box was amazing and a perfect mid morning snack! The dirty chi latte was good but my husbands americano wasn't. I guess you can say I'm a regular here; all the baristas and the managers know me by name and greet me when they see me. Sometimes it can get crowded here, but the drinks always come out pretty quickly (even if you do something 'special' to the drink, like request half powder or something). I love their big comfy leather chairs; they need to get at least 4 more in there some how. read more

Never had a bad experience at this Coffee Bean. The staff are always pleasant whether they just rolled out of bed or have been there on their feet for 8 hours straight. Their coffee is just so much better than Starbutts. The fact that they do tea rocks too. I have not had their tea yet though. I am planning to buy a bag of moroccan mint tea if they have it as I ran out of the one I picked up on my last trip to London. ??? Is it me or do the patrons at Coffee Bean seem to be less loud and don't feel the need to call attention to themselves than alot of the Starbutt devotees? Just an observation and wanna know if I am hallucinating or not. The wi-fi rocks, which is especially important for the virtual office set, especially if you have a slow 6 year old Dell D-600 powered by the fire breathing Sony battery. I don't like to review large chains, as I've said before. But, I must review this one, especially its parking lots. As one of the few CBTL's in the area, I quite appreciate this particular franchise store. The baristas, if they are so called here as well, are cheery and friendly, even after 6pm. As I suspect that may be due to the amount of caffeine they have consumed throughout their workshifts, I'll deem it negligible. They smile as they take my order, validate my parking stub, and hand me my cup. Although, there is one girl who is super cheery like me that it makes me lower my tone of voice so as not to sound like her, no offense. Positive: -it's one of the few in the area -has an outdoor free lot for 30 mins -has covered parking that will be validated with any purchase Negative: -the store closes at 7pm -the parking lot is way too noisy with cars and voice echoes that no one could even possibly take a nap there Now, you may wonder why I would try to nap when I'm going here to get coffee....... Neatly tucked away in an office complex, this is a great place to escape to around the corner of Sepulveda and Imperial Hwy. Chill barista's...they were so easy-going and friendly and even allowed me to rearrange some tables & chairs so that I could hook my laptop up to the lone outlet in the corner when my battery was running on its last bit of battery juice while surfing the net on their AT&T wifi connexion. Phew! Moments later, the boss arrived and he wasn't too cool with it....kept eyeing me out....he came by and started dusting and rearranging displays around me.....but I didn't care and I decided that if it bothered him he'd let me know...after all, I was a customer that paid for that cup of coffee and brownie who decided to splurge on more biscuits and muffins to keep me going while working away.....in the end he lost and I won. RUDE EMPLOYEES!! NO STARS. I go to every coffee bean around everyday because i have an addiction. however, this coffee bean makes me want to just go to a startbucks. i recently moved and its the closest one around. I am sad to say the service provided was TERRIBLE! All the employees were very rude and when i always pay for extra things in my coffee for example vanilla powder they never put it in! I watch them make my drinks and when i tell them oh can you put in the extra vanilla and they said "i did" although i watched them and they didnt. I spoke to the manager after i got sick of how they treated me every time and she offered me a free drink next time. when i went back, they completely denied everything that happened. i don't understand if im paying for something i should get what i paid for. read more

I love coffee bean! But I was so disappointed today with my drink. I usually order an iced hazelnut Americano. I go here almost every day. I decided to go around 4 today 05.30.17 with my coworker. We both got chai teas except i got mines iced and she got hers hot. By far the worst chai tea I've ever had. Not sure who was the barista but this tasted like water. I dint even drink it. read more

I guess I'm officially spoiled by Starbucks especially with the cleanliness of the drink making areas, the neatness of the baristas and how they always get my order right. This coffee bean was way disappointing in all those areas. The counters and equipment were filthy and the way they clean the stuff in between drinks is sub par. Everything they touched and used looked scuzzy with cross contamination. Foamed milk was overflowing all over the place and gumming up the machines and this seemed to bother no one. Now I'm wondering how Starbucks makes it all look so move and run so smooth as this was pretty much my first experience at a non Starbucks location since my espresso addiction began not too long ago. The only reason I came is because it was walking distance to the hotel we were staying at while our place was being fumigated. I have them two chances...failure both times. First, they use powders instead of syrup so if you are a grainy Swiss Miss cocoa drink fan you will love the drinks here. The iced caramel latte was WAY too sweet with not even a hint of espresso flavor...filled to the brim with tons of crushed ice which means a few sips and your drink is history. Iced dark chocolate latte was less sweet but still not good. The worst part was that each time I went I ordered a zucchini muffin and both times I received a blueberry one. That was aggravating...pay attention people! I was too grossed out watching them make drinks on dirty equipment to ever go back. read more

The service at this Coffee Bean is great - the staff are SO sincerely friendly and greet customers by always welcoming them to the store as soon as they walk in and by saying goodbye when they leave. The staff are always smiling and the service is quick - those are reasons enough for me to keep coming back to this coffee shop over others in the area. The parking spots are limited unless you park in the structure and get your ticket validated but that's not a good enough reason to take a star away from the 5 star rating the staff working at this Coffee Bean deserve. read more

My favorite place for coffee and iced tea. You know you go a little too often when all of the baristas know your order the minute you walk in. My favorite chain coffee shop for iced tea. Pros: Nice location, and consistent quality especially for the ice blended drinks. Cons: the baristas are TOO LOUD. To sit at this location can be hazardous to your ears both by the loudness and even the inappropriate conversation topics that you over hear at times. I can't believe some of the things I've heard as I've gone here many times. This is the biggest disappointment and frankly it is not professional. As a coffee drinker, I've always liked the taste of Coffee Bean over Starbucks, particularly their coffee lattes and green tea lattes. Their teas in particular have a better selection as demonstrated in their name, but it's their smoother coffee taste that wins me over. This location is in a weird location close to the airport but the staff is always friendly and like all Coffee Beans have free Internet. Service is always quick and haven't had any mixups or mistakes from here yet. read more
