I come here at least once a month. Today it's pretty hot in Ventura county and I wanted something refreshing. I tried the Mango Passionfruit Energy drink. It's pretty sweet for my liking. The location in Seabridge 'Harbor' makes this one of the nicest Coffee Bean locations. The inside decor is very bright and airy with high ceilings. The Ventura location has a more cozy Library feel with darker wood paneling, but here feels like outdoors and indoors space blends together. And of course if you head outside, you can walk along the peaceful Harbor. I am not a frequenter of their drinks, but I have come here for Tea and their Too Good to Go bags on occasion. Coffee Bean is also good choice for those who watch sugar intakes. They seem to offer a lot of no sugar powder flavor options. This location is quite nice for small group coffee hangouts. read more

Really terrible service. Asked for an iced coffee no ice with ice on the side ( I don't like getting a cup full of ice with very little iced coffee). I was charged for an iced water cup. When my coffee arrived it was a half empty cup. When I asked that the barista add milk to the cup she rolled her eyes and just added tap water to the cup. I asked her why she did that and she said very rudely that is what they use to make the coffee. I asked for a manager, she said she was the manager, Darlene is her name. Came here for a vanilla bean ice blended. The service sucked. There was only two people working. It was about 215. The guy at the front saw me standing in line took about three minutes to take my order. There was only one guy making the drinks. While there was six people waiting in the lobby. He was moving so slow. I don't really do coffee bean. I'm a Starbucks girl, but this time I went for a walk and I wanted one since it was close by. Hopefully next time I get a better experience, but they really need to staff and get friendly staff. When I told the guy that it didn't taste good he said that is a vanilla ice blended. Large, bright CBTL in Seabridge center in Oxnard. We had been in town and wanted a wind down spot with a restroom. This filled the bill nicely. Clean restroom was helpful. The staff was welcoming and made a killer iced blended chocolate decaf beverage that went down smoothly. Though they were busy on a late Sunday afternoon, and there were a lot of guests inside, the high ceilings and bright tropical decor made for a great hangout space. It was pleasant to be there to have a mental break from an emotional day. As we left to head to our car, a gorgeous sky scene kept the tropical vibe going. Relaxation mission accomplished! read more

GETTING HERE: This CBTL is located on Victoria in the Seabridge Marina in Oxnard. It's in the same shopping center as the Vons, but located closer to Buttercup's Froyo and Anaba. Next door to Fisherman's Catch. REVIEW: This is my absolute fave CBTL in all the world. Or, rather at least In the area. The customer service is on point every single visit. I know service presently is hit and miss, but here they don't miss. I'm a creature of habit: lemon loaf and a ginseng peppermint iced tea latte. Yes please and make it a double. What's not to love about this store and the location. I love the drinks, I mainly get tea, and the ambiance. Service is always spot on also. Pros and Cons: Pros: The breakfast burritos are delicious. I am a light eater so their burritos will last me two meals. I got the protein pack and it is also delicious. Nothing to cook here for them but the combo was perfect. It included a boiled egg, some cheese and crackers, fruit, and a small pack of peanut butter. Just the right amount for me for a meal. Their breakfast breads are also very good. I got the banana bread and it was very fresh and moist. Not too sugary also. Their teas are good but you can't really review because it's just a pkg tea. The outside area of this particular store is just fantastic. On a nice sunny day you can sit outside and take in the view of the harbor. Plenty of seating outdoors. Good people watching as there is a lot of foot traffic. Cons: It's kind of expensive. But I am cheap and all coffee/tea places are like that. Didn't much like the egg bites. Egg just had a weird texture that I couldn't get over. And they don't look like the picture on the website. Overall, I will continue to go to this location. I stopped in to redeem my birthday reward and was pleasantly surprised by the new and open-concept design of this Coffee Bean. The lighting and new furniture are refreshed looks, but it still looks like the renovation is incomplete. The service was quick and friendly, just what I needed before heading into the office on base in the morning. Tip: when you redeem your birthday drink, don't try to get the 32 Oz drink (larger than a he large), especially if it's a drink on ice. The drink will taste weak and watered down. Instead of going for quantity, go for quality and stick with the regular or large sized drinks. Those sizes will have less ice and more concentrated taste with their shots than the extra large 32 Oz. read more

Stopped here for a caramel frap. Love the remodel. This CB has a ton of natural light so perfect for chilling or reading. I feel the previous set up was a lot cozier, this is more modern and less comfy but there two sets of sofa-ish chairs. They even remodeled the restroom. This CB gets so busy with the Marina being right there. It's a beautiful place. This is my fave CB to go to. I love walking around the marina then grabbing a frap. read more

Coffee Bean is at the Seabridge Market Place located in Oxnard, CA on Victoria Ave & Wooley Rd. Plenty of free parking available since there's lots of businesses & restaurants here. There isn't a drive through, so plan to go inside the shop. There's some inside seating & also some tables & chairs just outside of the shop too. It looks more modern since they remodeled. Inside is cute & comfy but it can get busy inside. That's why I usually order ahead on the Coffee Bean App when I'm nearby. That way I can just head straight to the pick up counter & grab my order. I come here once in a while. Coffee bean launched a new viral drink named vanilla dry iced americano. Today in the morning, I went in for the drink. While I was ordering the drink, the girl seemed to struggle to type the drink and when they called my name, the drink did not look like the viral drink. I told the girl (don't know her name) that i ordered the viral drink and she was like "oh that drink, you're supposed to tell the worker to add caramel sauce and the worker she's new, I'm sorry" and the girl fixed my drink and added so little caramel. Here's a couple of compliments 1. It's not the costumers responsibility to remind workers how to make a drink in the menu. Train your workers to memorize the entire menu 2. I don't know what part of Health and sanitation people don't understand when letting animal get too close to food. Animals bring parasites, odor and viruses out from the streets, specially dogs; there is gotta be a policy about letting animals inside the store and the worst part is that the dogs were not even service dogs. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a cafe. The drink I got was a white chocolate ice coffee and it was disgusting did not taste good so I asked them if there was any way they can make it sweeter or help me out and they told me they would have to charge extra. So I was like okay sure and they completely ignored me. Usually when I go to cafes and I taste the drinks and don't like it they're remake it or add extra sugar for free. This is why I never go to coffee bean. Bad service and bad drink. I would recommend any other coffee places but this. I think gas station coffee would be better than this. Regular coffee bean spot. Service is quick and good. The location is clean and on the marina in Oxnard which is also a big plus. They have seating outside as well! Coffee is good and of note they do have nitro cold brew coffee on tap...which is legit. The place is usually pretty busy and can be difficult to get a spot to sit for groups larger than four, however, as mentioned above, they do have an outside and the weather is almost always perfect out. Generally speaking, this location is great. They've given me great service and I enjoy the coffee they've provided. I just had an experience that shocked me to my core. The manager at this location is incredibly nice. He greeted me and served me with a certain chipper tone that one could appreciate. However, when I went to pick up my food, I conversed with the barista who said," My day is crazy. Nothing like working for Hitler." I was confused and later on hurt. This of course was said to me on 4/7/21 the day of Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. There are different levels to this that is incredibly disturbing. I really like this location that has the best you have any coffee bean in Southern California. The employees here also consistently make the drinks so much better than they do in Los Angeles. I don't know why the people Los Angeles are clueless how to make their drinks. I only wish that the nitros were a little bit colder. The strangest part about Coffee Bean, is that the Oxnard channel islands store makes a nitro's and a more mild much better tasting way to the Los Angeles coffee beans.
