We stopped in Solvang on our way south on our road trip and were excited to get a little coffee to perk up for the rest of the drive. We ordered an oat milk vanilla latte (hot). Service was good and we got the drink quickly. Problem was, though, the latte was pretty much undrinkable. It tasted like a glass of warm oat milk. There was not the faintest taste of coffee or vanilla. We had lots of good lattes from different coffee shops throughout the weekend, so we were extra disappointed in this coffee. $6.50 down the drain - don't recommend. read more

We really needed a morning pick me up-we went to this cute place because it was across the street from our hotel. The ambience of this place is cute & cozy. Honestly the coffee and hot chocolate just tasted bad. I got a gingerbread latte, it wasn't hot nor was it strong, it was all milk, where's the coffee? Espresso? Disappointing. My child's hot chocolate with toasted marshmallow flavor was awful, It looked like a cup of steamed milk! She wouldn't even drink it. My partner got a brown sugar mocha coffee, he said it was terrible & had a stomachache after drinking it... he said the gas station coffee he got was better! read more

A must every time I'm in town! They have a ton of different flavors and always a few seasonal drinks. My favorite is the iced cookie butter mocha! Their pastries are super soft and fresh, they usually also have day old pastries on sale at the counter. I love that they have a kids section and plenty of areas to sit inside and outside. The staff are so friendly and always make my experience at this coffee house a pleasurable one. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in town. read more

This place deserves all the compliments. First, it's super cute and quaint, so you just have to stop by! But once you arrive the customer service is outstanding! And then, I can only imagine all drinks are as good as the honey lavender latte I had, because I have been drinking a lot of coffee this week, so I needed to get it with nonfat milk, and that usually changes the taste for me (I'm a big oat milk or whole milk kinda gal, but too much in one week isn't good for my figure! ). What a shame that my new favorite coffee house is nearly an hour away :( I'll have to simply treat myself on all future Solvang excursions. Firstly, this place is the most adorable little coffee shop I've ever set foot in. I've never been to the other Chomp branded establishments, but if they're this cool and cute I definitely need to check them out! Perfect place to read a book and get your caffeine fix. The custom latte menu blew me away--so many tasty options! Favorites in my group were the pumpkin chai, butterbeer, cookie butter, and of course pumpkin spice lattes. All were so delicious! And thankfully came with non-dairy options. My one complaint is that they have the full Chomp menu on display, but they don't serve any of those items strangely enough. I think this should be more clear, as I was hoping to grab a snack with my latte. Unfortunately they were also out of many coffeeshop items that they typically would offer. Popped in for a quick bite while in town. My americano was delicious and the blueberry muffin I got was pretty good (but not exceptional). Taking off a star because they gave my friend a hot drink when she ordered iced and didn't attempt to fix it. It wasn't a big deal but it wasn't good customer service. What an enjoyable experience was to visit Coffee by Chomp! I had a Crème brûlée latte - Perfect level of sweetness as is! Mocha espresso chocolate chip scone (Have your scone warmed up) Very moist, Sweet scone though not overly sweet. It seems that the flavor of the glaze is caramel. Make sure to ask for the key if you are going to the restroom! I will definitely return for a relaxing time and using the free Wi-Fi which by the way it's pretty fast! read more

They have a great environment to set up your laptop, connect to the WIFI, and get some work done. Their coffee is also decent and they have a plethora of flavors to select from which is really fun. The pastry that I tried was also yummy. The staff is friendly as well and likes to make conversation. The inside makes you feel home-y and productive altogether. I may have gushed a bit because I was so happy that Solvang finally had the kind of coffee shop I like, so yeah, it was a rave review. But then I got a notice from Yelp that my review had been removed for violating terms and conditions. The email I got said I appeared to be biased, that friends and family and employees are not allowed to write reviews. It seems that Yelp assumed, because I like the place, that I must somehow know them personally. Just to be clear, I don't know any of the owners or staff, and I don't work there. I'm just a guy from LA who visits Solvang 3-4 times a year and I've always wanted a place with good coffee where I can hang out in the morning, relax and get some work done. A little hard to find but yummy coffee. Pretty extensive coffee menu. Quaint little places to sti and sip your coffee. Love the fountain in the breezeway. Lovely seating out there as well. This is my 4th time coming back to this coffee place and I am very happy with the service they provided and their iced matcha latte was made perfectly to my specifications. The flavor is rich and tasty. I had them add the vanilla lavender to my matcha latte and it was very delicious.
