Dear Coffee Potter, It was love at first sight. I spotted you driving through the valley when visiting up here and I knew if we moved I'd adore you. Well we made the move and you were the first business we visited. I was right. You're adorable. You're staff? Amazing. The food? Long Valley has finally got a great spot for coffee. For a long time the only places were chain shops and convenience store quality pots lined up on a counter. Hot-brown-water, to go. Coffee Potter is the real deal. Good, robust coffees, teas and iced drinks. A quaint interior and a drive-through. Pastries and munchies are good too. The place has also become a stop off for joggers, bicyclists, and hikers making it an informal town hub, something else we've needed for a long time. read more

This place is beyond adorbs. Cute little local place. Decor and vibe is trendy and cozy. Service is friendly and prompt. I had trouble deciding which drink. The barista recommended a hazelnut latte. It was delicious and probably the best latte I've had in a very long time. Great quality drinks. We were quite hungry but they didnt have too much as far as hot food. Wow how loud on a Sunday. Not the normal comfortable environment. You know the owners are not here

On the way to the country (well it's not really the country, but it is if you live in NYC), we stopped into this coffee shop for a quick snack and caffeine. It turned out to be a great decision. The coffee shop serves up great, strong coffee, frozen drinks that are far superior to the ones from that other chain and delicious snacks too. The prices are pretty reasonable, as they have quite a few options to choose from as well. They offer lots of kid food and drink options like chocolate milk boxes and cheese sticks. Their sandwiches and breakfast food all was very fresh and warmed up if you want to eat in. There is plenty of seating around and free wifi, should you need it. It appeared they also had a drive through, which is a nice perk if you were in a hurry. read more

This review is for The Coffee Potter in Ort Farms, and their apple cider donuts. They sell the farm's donuts, not their own. We got a box of 6 from them and they charged us $12 ($2 a donut). Easy to miss if you don't know it's there. You can tell from the building that it used to be a bank. The owners smartly used the old bank teller drive thru to deliver drive-thru coffee. I am sure this makes it a popular spot as most of us are in a rush these days. The decor is very much what you would expect of an indie coffee shop and that's a good thing. The staff is friendly and helpful. They seem to be very nice people who are paying attention to the details. I hope to see them succeed and stick around for the long haul. Parked in the lot with plenty of parking. Afforded a brisk walk in cold weather to get inside. I was greeted by and introduced to the owner and "crew." Everyone turned and said "hello." They had a great selection of coffees and things to eat. This establishment was just as good as the big national chain, even better! I really feel bad for leaving a review, but I have been here multiple times now and have left feeling soo disappointed. I'm a coffee snob, and have tried so many coffee places and really want to like this one since it's close to my house and a small business, but unfortunately the coffee is disappointing. I have ordered iced lattes and literally received a cup that was white (all milk) and tasted exactly as so.. first time I thought maybe it was just a mistake and wanted to give it another try. second time I realized that this is how they serve it... I literally had to throw it out it was so bad. i saw the owner reply to someone else who had the same experience saying that's how lattes are made and that its mostly milk, but this has never happened to me elsewhere :( read more

Pretty cute little spot! Nestled right along a nature trail. The drive through is convenient and service is quick even when the lines are long. I've only been here a few times, but the espresso / lattes are good (not as strong as I personally like, but that's just a "me" issue). This place is so good. I love their coffee. This is my favorite place to buy coffee. The reason I am giving this establishment 4 stars is because an employee with brown hair and weird gums gave me attitude and made me very uncomfortable. She told me I was holding everyone up and even asked me to leave, which was so unprofessional! Like I said, this is one of my favorite places to buy coffee, so I am disappointed to have a poor customer experience here. As you're passing by Long Valley, this is such a cute place to grab coffee and treats on a Sunday morning. It's the new place to go in town. It's like a quaint Starbucks that used to be an old bank. I've loved what they've done to the space. It's a great shop to stop by after a 5 mile hike on the Columbian trail. I love the atmosphere and minimal and simplistic decor. Awesome little coffee shop. Great location and parking in what seems to be an old bank. Great aesthetics inside with rustic feel but modern touches like USB outlets for charging near each table. This was my first time there as I was looking for a spot to kill a few hours. I would definitely go back. They have a nice little assortment of snacks and baked goods. I had a large hot coffee with cream and sugar and a raspberry and orange scone. This coffee shop had a great trail directly outside of it.
