Just stopped here with my daughter. I'm soooooo glad I did. The kindest staff. I met the owner and he was so friendly and accommodating. It's kind of a relief that it was switched from what it used to be, being 2 blocks from an elementary school. I wanted to give the owner a congressional Medal of Honor or something just for making it the other place go away lol But this place is great. We will definitely be back. First time trying The Coffee Shack and was not disappointed. The shack is really cute and small with plenty of parking, seating and benches on the outside. We were greeted with a smile by the employee working there who was really friendly. Both the nutty treat and floral bliss seasonal lattes had great flavor, you could definitely taste the toffee in one and lavender in the other without it being too subtle of a mystery of what flavor it is. They weren't overly sweet but perfect for those that prefer a creamier/sweeter coffee. Support this place than the Starbucks across the street! The beautiful young lady working the window was so welcoming and kind even though we arrived just a few minutes before closing. I have thoroughly enjoyed every drink and snack I've had there and swear by their bean/cheese/rice burritos! No idea what it is, but something about them makes them extra delish! I also really enjoy their Italian soda option with sugar free vanilla syrup and the sugar free blue raspberry/berry energy boost mix in! Their breakfast croissant sandwiches are also great and another drink I'd suggest is their iced chai with oat milk and sugar free vanilla syrup and vanilla cold foam! I did not need this guys attitude this morning. Ordered a large white mocha. No questions were asked. It came out iced. Noticed the lack of me saying iced white mocha. Then when I asked if they make everything iced he said (with an attitude) yes unless you say otherwise. Why is that the norm? Coffee is hot. You turn it iced when you add ice (too much ice in my opinion) I deliver in the area and when need a pick me up I come here to support small business. I will no longer thanks to this one person. The flavors are accurately described and it reminds me of the fall/winter season. The cold foam was a great addition to this drink. The ice is also my favorite - small and crunchy. Terrible customer service and so much attitude from the first words that came out of the workers mouth. The guy working on Sunday, 9/21 at 1pm acted like I was a burden to him the second I pulled up to the window. He didn't care to really listen to me when I asked questions. He acted like he couldn't hear a single thing I said even after I basically started yelling out the window so he could hear me. I ended up leaving without buying a single thing because he was so unpleasant. Seems like for months now people have left reviews about this specific worker but nothing has changed despite the owner clearly being aware of this behavior. read more

Very friendly quick service. I've gotten a couple drinks from here, that were all very good. The breakfast sandwiches are also tasty. I love the convenience of the drive thru as well since I usually have my son with me. I met the owner who was super friendly and told me about a makers market that happens the 3rd Saturday of the month. I've passed by this spot while driving a couple times and have been meaning to try it. I saw the Coffee Shack on Doordash today and decided to order a breakfast sandwich and two iced lattes - a caramel and a vanilla one. While I can't speak on the ambiance or service this time, I can tell from the owner's online presence and responses to customers that he is very passionate about what he does and I look forward to visiting and interacting with him in person. The food and coffees were absolutely delicious! The sandwich I got was a nice homemade bagel sandwich, made to order with double scrambled eggs and cheese. It was cheesy, tasty, and fresh. The lattes had the perfect balance of sweetness, milk, and espresso. Not too sweet and you can still taste the actual espresso shining through. I love the espresso they use, it's super rich, nutty, and delicious. I love going to coffee shack in the morning most days! it's been my go-to as of recently. normally I'm left extremely satisfied with both the service and my coffee! However, on two occasions now, I've gone to get coffee right when it opened and there was a guy working there who had a very bad attitude right off the bat. He served me a cold muffin and honestly both times he's made my coffee it's been pretty mediocre. I've been here a couple times and was between a 3 and 4 star review because most of the time it's okay. The last 2 times I have gone I had a 10 minute wait, the girl that was helping me was on a FaceTime call while helping, at least she was nice and moved quickly. Then a 30 minute wait for an online order that said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I get it things happen but over 30 minutes was ridiculous. I was not acknowledged at all while waiting and multiple people who drove up were helped and served before me. They either need 2 people working (I get it's small) or at least someone who enjoys their job because reading the negative reviews, I probably had the same boy "helping" me. Not only did his attitude lose business but in the 30 minutes I waited, multiple cars drove away due to the wait time. Coffee is okay. I really come for the craft sodas, the sunset vibe is super refreshing. The thing that really sucks when I come during the week is the guy who works the stand. He is unfriendly, never smiles or asks how you are, and just looks miserable being there. He took 20 minutes to make 2 drinks!!
