Came and were seated immediately! They have great indoor and outdoor seating, we sat outside in a cabana which was really nice. The calamari and shrimp bake were our starters and were very hot and fresh! I had the island hopper salad with blackened salmon and it was SOOO good, the perfect summer salad. My friends also enjoyed their meals. I'd definitely recommend if you're ever in the St. Augustine area

Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing drinks. Sitting in the tiki hut is the only way to go for the best vibe!

What a great place!! Unique and beautiful outdoor seating. My husband had their chicken sandwich and I had their pasta (added shrimp ) Sooooo tasty and great service too!! Being in the water... you may want to bring a light jacket or sweater if you're outside in the early evening. Cute and classy gift shop reeled me in too The claim to fame is definitely their KEY LIME ‍ pie x1000 Thee very best key lime pie I have ever had in my 56yrs of life

This is the spot if you want to dine by the water. Amazing views, great service, cute decor, and good food. My dad and I came for an early dinner on the patio and later discovered there's a separate bar area right out on the dock. They don't serve food out there, just drinks, but it's such a cool space. It felt like a little nautical speakeasy. I ordered a Caesar salad with blackened chicken and honestly wasn't too impressed. My dad got the conch club and the flavors were great. The chicken on his sandwich was actually more tender than the chicken on my salad. We also ordered a side of hush puppies, which I usually don't go for since I'm not from the South, but they were surprisingly really good. We went on a slower weeknight, but I was impressed by how massive the parking lot is. It definitely seems like they can handle a big crowd. Overall, a really nice spot for the views and atmosphere.

Wonderful views, delicious food and drinks, and friendly quick service. What more could you want on vacation! Easily a great place for some drinks and live music or a nice outdoor meal for a date or family gathering.

Great place for a nice dinner. We came here around 6 pm on Saturday. They don't take reservations. We were seated immediately. It was a cold rainy day so we sat inside. They have a nice menu with different options. I had market fish tacos. They were pretty good. Fish was fresh and cooked well. Service was friendly and attentive. They also have some unique drinks. Ambiance is laid back. We also ordered smoothie for our child and that wasn't good at all. Was pure sugar, and seems like was made from some premade stuff and not from fresh fruit. Other than that we were happy with everything else.

This cool restaurant is accessible by boat and car. There are neat "high rise" dining areas on the outside deck and spacious indoor dining though the indoors can be a bit noisy depending on the parties dining there. Staff is friendly and very efficient. We started with a cup of their World Famous Minorcan Conch Chowder that is spicy, tangy, and delicious! Our Banana Pepper Calamari was a crispy delight. My Fried Shrimp Platter was so good, I ate it all. Normally have to take some home from getting too full. Not today, this was too darned good and I totally stuffed myself. My husband's Caribbean Chicken Sandwich was just as good. This is a great place to take a date, friends and family, or even a group of party goers. Enjoy the lively ambience and excellent food!

Food was 5 stars!! Our server, Amber was the best! We are a group of 8 from all over the U. S. Came here on a girls trip. I highly recommend this place!

The food is amazing and the view is beautiful! We enjoyed the food so much that we came back a second night!

Shrimp Salad Wrap and cucumber onion salad

I guess I never finished my first review! Second time was just as good. Ordered the same thing LOL The only thing is no hard alcohol til 1. So I drank wine. Next time it's a rum drink for me. We have been wanting to try The Conch house and there is usually always a wait. We happened to be in town on a weekday and thought we would give it a try. It was a great idea! No wait, fast friendly service. I ended up with a shrimp salad wrap with cucumber and onion salad. We started off with cracked conch. Everything was great - fresh and very satisfying. I can't remember our server's name but she was great. We will definitely be back but next time we want to sit in a tiki hut table. They looked fun!

Parents in the tiki table with the marina behind them

No matter how busy they are the wait is usually not that long unless you're waiting for a palapa table, and you can always go down to the end of the pier and get a drink and sometimes there's a Caribbean reggae band playing down there. Get a tropical drink and check out the crow's nest. Fabulous views of the marina, and if you have a boat, even better, tie up for lunch. The menu is pretty standard I would say nothing special, but I sort of feel that way about most of the restaurants in town. The clam chowder however was DELICIOUS, and I could've just stopped there and been as happy as a ... We've been here many times and the service is always next level. These servers have a really tough job running up and down those stairs with giant trays and they're always super friendly and attentive. They must do extra service training with their people and it shows. It's really a perfect place to go on a sunny day.

Banana Pepper Calamari

The Conch House Restaurant has such a beautiful view from the cabana seating! We ordered the fish tacos and banana pepper calamari which were more than enough to share between two people. We loved the hot sauce that was provided and honestly preferred it to the banana pepper sauce. Our server was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu as well and was honest with us about his favorites on the menu. I loved my experience here.

Tiki carvings and elevated dining platforms for those wanting to enjoy the larger creek view.

There are occasional bands playing in the afternoons which is a big plus. The sun can be a bit oppressive in the late afternoon summers. The umbrellas are ineffective at that time. Overall, I recommend Beaches for mid-day food and drink or late day entertainment and food.

The Marley Burger was a tasty flavor bomb but you can't put this stacked deliciousness down once you start on it - ask for extra napkins ahead of time. The Tuna Wrap was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. Both come with sides - we opted for the coleslaw and the beans with rice. While you're there, pick up some Minorcan Mike's Datil pepper products (salsa, rub, jelly, mustard and sauce) for home or hostess gifts.

The restaurant is located in the Hyatt hotel and has complimentary valet parking. We went for a Mother's Day dinner. The ambience was classy with a live pianist and upscale decor. Our party of three shared a Petit seafood plateau with oysters, shrimp, cocktail crab claws, poke tuna, accompaniments. The food was fantastic! We enjoyed CAFECITO-CRUSTED SALMON FILET with creamy risotto, forest mushrooms, miso crema BRANZINO, artichokes, citrus, capers, castelvetrano olives, sauce verde and ATLANTIC SWORDFISH with mousseline potatoes, broccolini, crispy capers, pan jus. Dessert was equally decadent and delicious with a cupcake shaped tres leches cake and dark chocolate treat with berries. It's worth the drive to Vilano beach!

Unfortunately the weather decided otherwise. The weather was terrible and the rooftop closed. We opted to continue with our evening as one of our friends lives in Vilano. I had visited the original restaurant many moons ago but was looking forward to the new location despite it being in a hotel. I am a vegetarian and the options for those are very limited. And I get it. It's a steakhouse. My friends all love steaks. Between the four in our party we had the bread which was out of this world and we ended up ordering a second order, the goat cheese terrine which was tasty, chopped Salad minus the bacon was delicious,Caesar salad for one lady, the mashed potatoes and they were not great, the seasonal vegetables and those were awesome, the Brussel sprouts which were very good but a skimpy portion, a filet steak review was it was ok, steak mofongo and review was ok, and lastly the vegetable pasta and again review was ok. I personally just had the sides as I hate onion and I could not get a vegetarian pasta without onion. The pros are everyone on the staff was wonderful! Bartenders, our server Jonny, hostess, valet guys, etc. The cons are the chairs are cheap and uncomfortable, the space is dressed up a bit for a hotel but still a hotel restaurant, some of the patrons had on shorts and ball caps. For the menu prices a dress code should be enforced and more comfortable seating available. I still want to check out the sunset rooftop and the bread is worth another trip. Other than that, I have other places in SA I lean toward.

There was no one at hostess stand because system was down and they were having troubles which I felt bad for the hostess who seemed stressed on obviously a busy night. They were out of both of the entrees we wanted, which was unfortunate but I ended up getting the catch beurre blanc and it was delicious. I ordered a sangria but our drinks took a very long time to come out, after our appetizer (crab, an heirloom tomato bruschetta which was yummy and more filling than regular bruschetta!) Overall, the food was really good and waitress was nice, but water was never refilled and everything took a really long time to come out. Would love to try it again on a regular night and hopefully they have the entrees we wanted to try:)

Catch 27 - St. Augustine, FL…read more Came to St. Augustine with a group and Catch 27 was suggested for dinner. Great choice. I checked the Yelp reviews ahead of time and it definitely lived up to them. People in our group started with drinks and everyone at the table seemed happy with what they ordered. I had the red wine braised beef brisket for my main and it was excellent, very tender and full of flavor. My friend Damon next to me had the red snapper and I tried some of that too. Also very good. Someone else at the table had the Rockefeller crusted snapper and that looked and tasted great as well. For appetizers, I had the shaved pear and blue cheese salad. It was really good and honestly enough for two people to share as an appetizer. People at the table also ordered the Devils on Horseback and liked them. I do not eat bacon, but they were happy with that dish. The deviled eggs with southern fried oysters looked really good, and I had the smoked salmon spread, which was very good too. I also saw the shrimp and grits come out for someone else and that dish looked excellent. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding and it was a strong finish to the meal. Others at the table ordered the seasonal crème brûlée, which was chocolate that night. It looked great and everyone who had it said it was very good. Sunny was our waitress and she did an exceptional job. Attentive, kind, and on top of everything the whole night. In my mind this is about a 4.7 star experience, and I am rounding it up to a full 5 stars. Catch 27 is a great choice in St. Augustine.

We started with the Chili-Lime Shrimp, and that dish alone set the bar high. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and coated in a spicy chili-lime garlic sauce that had just the right kick. The miso butter emulsion and sweet soy tied everything together with a rich, slightly sweet finish. The Poke Tuna was fresh and vibrant--sashimi-grade ahi tossed in a cashew-citrus ponzu with red onion, cucumber, and seaweed salad. The fried wontons added a nice crunch that balanced the dish beautifully. The Mediterranean Pizza was a pleasant surprise. The combination of green olives, spinach, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, goat cheese, and garlic worked really well together on a crisp crust, giving you a savory bite with a hint of tang. The Surf & Turf Fried Rice brought bold flavors to the table. Tender beef tips and shrimp sauteed in a spicy chili glaze over vegetable fried rice, finished with fried garlic, chili oil, miso butter, and sweet soy--it was rich, flavorful, and very satisfying. The Beef Tenderloin was cooked just right--tender and juicy--paired with creamy mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a decadent truffle sauce that elevated the whole dish. Beyond the food, the service truly stands out--warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel taken care of throughout the entire meal. They also offer an excellent selection of wines, beers, and spirits, along with a solid dessert lineup that's worth saving room for. To top it all off, there's plenty of parking available, which is always a bonus in a busy dining area.
