Stopped in around 4:30 just for a drink and to experience the ambiance that were heard so much about. It definitely lived up to the vibe! Bartenders were so nice and service was fantastic. We both started with a martini and it was delicious. Enjoyed it so much we decided to stay for dinner and ordered the happy hour special of a salad, Hangar steak and dessert. Everything was delicious from beginning to end (oh and to end the night with those cinnamon donuts - absolutely amazing!). So glad we stopped in!

The ambiance here is wonderful. Greeted by the Koi pond as soon as you enter, and we were offered fish food to feed them! The oysters were fresh as can be, and the steak options are divine. Too not neglect the sides, the potato gratin is 10/10.

So delicious, from the drinks to the steaks, everything was incredible! The decor and ambience was great as well. I had the bone in filet mignon and my husband had the 40 day dry aged ribeye. Sides of the roasted carrots and mashed potatoes. Next level really. Yummy yum yum!

We had a reservation at 7:30 last evening and were promptly seated on time for what turned out to be one of the best meals I've ever experienced. Our server, Ginna was cordial, well informed, and a testimony to the best! This has to be the finest dining experience offered in Naples by a margin. Crafted Cocktails served as they should be, fantastic appetizers and outrageously good Snake River fillets, au gratin potatoes and baby carrots followed. The 4 piece music ensemble was a treat, as was the coconut cake we had as a finale. We were suitably impressed by ALL the Continental delivered.

The only reservation we could get was at 5:00 pm, so we were lucky enough to find out about their early dining menu! Our meal started with a visit from the Dirty Martini Cart, a great little treat offering freezing cold martinis and olives served from a table side cart. We then ordered from the early dining prix fixe menu. Great value, $55 for a starter, main and dessert. I had a tomato carpaccio salad, a perfectly cooked 12 oz hanger steak with asparagus and au gratin potatoes and fresh donuts with maple bourbon caramel sauce. I also had an extra 4 oysters, very fresh with tasty sauce. Our server, Tyson, was very friendly and interactive, talking us through the menu and ensuring we had a great time. The restaurant is beautiful with indoor, outdoor and covered seating. Can't wait to go back!

Great location in Naples for a high end specialty dinner. Out with friends, we had a beautifully located table inside, yet felt outside due to all the open doorways. The outdoor patio seating area as well as the indoor restaurant are beautiful. We sat at 5:45, still time for the early specials (offered between 5:00-6:00). $50 for a three course meal, it was an amazing value and absolutely delicious. We tried the Caesar salad as well as the caprisi salad with beratta. Both were outstanding. Our main selection was the filet and lobster tail. Served with potatoes and asparagus. Cooked to perfection! We finished with fresh warm doughnuts with a dipping sauce. Other main course specials were a chicken dish and 2 seafood options. The main menu is full of great options, so no way you leave hungry. Very pleased with our dinners, the service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back!

The Continental is your quintessential steakhouse located in the picturesque downtown Naples. The decor, the neighborhood, the cars, the people all converging to create a posh yet approachable experience. The ambience was further amplified with a live jazz band and the perfect evening weather. The food and drink were TOP NOTCH. Almeidas had an Australian NY Strip which was phenomenal; Silva's had a hearty skirt steak.. seriously one was enough for two. Their steak tartar also a notable nibble. The donuts were an ABSOLUTE homer run with its chocolatey, salted caramely filling sauce. I seriously wanted to take a shot of it! Kudos kudos to the team for an amazing first impression!

We all work together in real estate, me for John R Wood Christie's international. I had not been to The Continental for a while but to celebrate our friend Carol's birthday. We went there with Cake in tow. We had their lobster special, which was absolutely delicious. Actually every bite even the bread was fabulous. I'd forgotten how good The Continental was going there hopefully most Sundays. It is a fabulous restaurant in a town filled with restaurants, but only perhaps a dozen that are truly exceptional in cuisine. This is one of them.

It had ceiling fans and a nice view of Naples Players Theater Plaza. Service was prompt & attentive, but never rushed. Marija offered great recommendations that worked well together. For apps we had the Hamachi Crudo with pickled mango and seaweed salad, as well as the Spicy Tuna Roll, which had just enough kick. Both were as authentic as anything we've had in Japan. For main course my wife enjoyed the halibut special. One thing I liked is that Marija quoted us the price wihout asking: right in in line with the other entrees and no worrying about 'sticker shock' check surprises at end of the meal. I had the pork chop, where getting it tender challenges many chefs. This one delivered: Perfectly done and seasoned just right. It doesn't come with vegetables so Marija suggested a half side of miso-chili broccoli, which was a great pairing. As we came in I noticed a lot of diners leaving with leftovers: portions were generous and we did same. For dessert, diners at next table raved about their giant 10 layer carrot cake. Marija offered me an off-the-menu 5-layer option that hit the spot. My wife had the flourless dark chocolate torte and ended up taking half home with us- it was very generous and really delicious. Bill was accurate and you pay at table on handheld terminals- no handing over your card and waiting. One of the more expensive restaurants we've eaten at here, but worth every dollar. It was a wonderful experience and we'll be back.

The cook of the steak was in fact medium rare as ordered, however, when we cut our steaks, immediately you could tell how tough the meat was. I'm not sure if these steaks are frozen or simply a poor quality of cut, but it shouldn't take more than 3 business days to chew a steak. The winner of our meal was in fact the sonoma ravioli. It was very rich and decadent. I also suggest the gouda tater tots and truffle mac & cheese. I'd skip the creamed spinach as it lacked flavor and was a bit runny. The ambiance was high energy, great for big parties and dates as well. Perhaps the seafood entrees may be better as I did notice other parties ordering those items. But to compare to other steakhouses, I don't think I can give it a positive review.

Everything about it from entering the grounds of The Ritz, walking through the hotel lobby, to being greeted at the host/hostess station elevated an experience that by the end of the meal can be summed up in the word Magnifique! Upon reaching the host/hostess station, we were efficiently greeted and brought to our table walking through a beautiful dining room with a piano player to boot reminiscent of the great restaurants of the '70's and '80's. Whisked to our table to a romantic table for two with a full view of the dining room a la Forge Miami Beach 1980. We were told that The Grill has been operational for 40 years and is the best performing restaurant within Marriott's portfolio and the only remaining Grill. Our server who was outstanding had been here for 29 years. He explained to a T the specials and was both professional and friendly what you would expect at a 5 star restaurant. We started by selecting our bottle of wine a reasonably priced Pride Cab that was not heavily marked up. The wine list was extensive with a wide range of wines priced many priced reasonably and providing good value all the way up to top end Screaming Eagle. We elected to start with a great Caesar salad and followed up with two bone-in steaks, one being the 22 oz. bone-in ribeye for $98 and a 22 oz. bone in filet mignon special at $142 that our server described as being 14 oz. of meat and boy was it huge! The bone-in ribeye was cooked perfectly and delicious and the filet was soft as butter and very very good. We had fantastic Cajun spiced steak fries and great broccolini. For dessert we finished up with two souffles that are personal sized, one being a chocolate souffle with chocolate sauce and in asking for sabayon - they advised that while they could not they would bring out creme anglaise. The cookies n cream souffle was even better and delectable! Service was off the chart polished, unrushed and absolutely great. All in all the experience was beyond 5 stars. A truly unique restaurant standing the test of time and without a doubt the best steakhouse and best restaurant that we have eaten at in the State of Florida. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants.
