We have had takeout three times from the Coop. I would say to call this a BBQ place is an overstatement. The food is just not that good. We ordered three items today. The boneless wings today which were average. The brisket tacos and BBLT were barely edible. The brisket is definitely not smoked (look at this photo an show me a smoke ring) and everything is under seasoned. Just not worth the trip if you are not in the mood for wings. Keep hunting for BBQ elsewhere but have wings or burgers here. read more

This place was a home run! I had the BBLT with macaroni salad. The sandwich was so damn good. I would come back just for this sandwich. I'm a big guy and could not finish the meal for lunch. The brisket was very well done and had great flavor to it. The mayo and bbq sauce was the key to the car to take you to flavor town. The sourdough bread was perfectly toasted and was a great choice for their sandwich. The macaroni salad was good with a very unique flavor. When in the Westborough area of MA don't forget to stop and have a great lunch or dinner. This is the second location for them. Will be back soon to try another selection. read more

There are not many wing places in this area so I was excited to see this one open up. The ordering process was done online and was quick and easy. I ordered a dozen wings with two choices of seasoning, I chose a dry rubbed wings and sauced wings along with a piece of corn bread. The prices are high but I was willing to overlook that if the quality was good. The wings were not as big as I expected and the seasoning on the wings were lacking. A few of them had no sauce on one side. The corn bread was the size of a small brownie and tasted like it came from a mix you could just buy in the grocery store, to dry and overpriced and $3.50. The wings tasted ok not great, like something you would find at a wing bar at the grocery store. Overall I don't think I'll go back for wings here as it is overpriced and just average. read more

Stopped by The Coop tonight for a last minute meal. I was pleasantly surprised. Although, slightly expensive - the food was really very good and the servings were substantial. You could easily split the combo meal with maybe 1 adult and two kids. We had the 3 meat combo.. pulled pork, brisket and rib combo that came with two sides, macaroni & cheese and sweet tator tots - $27.00. We also got 12 wings with sauce on side (Hot Honey and Parmesan Peppercorn(?) - sauces, and both were great) Everything was great! The wings were tender with the perfect crisp. The meats in the combo were excellent - impressed with them all, and the brisket was great- not fatty, but super tender. I will recommend.. and will definitely be back! read more

These guys are great! We've been there three times for dine in and twice for takeout. I'm super impressed by the balance of flavors that the chef achieves consistently in their tacos. Delicious combination of spice and sweet. I've tried all three taco variants and each is delicious with its own unique flavorful combination of proteins and toppings. We discovered The Coop after a recommendation from a friend. This was our third trip since. The staff is all super friendly and helpful. The boneless wings are truly giant pieces of chicken. We've had several different kinds, all excellent. The fries are crisp, the tots flavorful. Tonight we brought friends. Two of us split the combo platter meant for one. We still had leftovers. I've been there twice. Wings are good and worth going back for. Ribs were not good. They were dry and lacked flavor...I can definitely make better at home which eliminates the need to order them again from this place. Maybe I'm wrong but it seemed like the ribs were previously made, frozen, and then warmed up again; at least that what they seemed like. If they really were cooked that day, then there's something more significant left to be desired in their ribs. Waitstaff is polite and helpful, but their system to process orders in the kitchen leaves much to be desired. Anytime it gets busy they are totally overwhelmed and they can't deal well with organizing online and in person orders in a logical manner. Overall, food is okay, but not enough of a draw to make me feel like I have to go there again. read more

The sour cream for the nachos was not in the bag when I arrived home. Without it, the fries were too dry. If you order takeout, check your bag before you leave.
