This is my go to local spot in Greenville. They have great cocktails and even mocktails when you're not drinking alcohol; if you ask. The ambiance is my favorite part, along with the patrons giving it a neighborhood bar feel while still being welcoming to non-regulars.

This awesome little pub serves some great food! I was nearby visiting the Hagley museum & library and I stopped in for a quick bite before heading home. I ordered the bbq pulled pork sliders and I was not disappointed! They were served on a delicious toasted mini brioche bun and perfectly packed full of pulled pork and jalapeño coleslaw. My companion had the Cuban sandwich which he boasted was very well made. I stole a few of his homemade sweet potato chips and they were yummy. The service was great, the ambience was chill and the playlist was very favorable. It was too early for drinks but the cocktail menu had some very interesting concoctions that I would have very much liked to try.

Funky, cozy bar with excellent adult beverages and curious decor. My friends and I sampled several mixed drinks over the course of the evening and were impressed with the quality of them all. We also ordered food including the bacon wrapped dates, shrimp and mango salad, and the kinda cubano sandwich with house made chips. All were excellent. Great, attentive staff. Plenty of parking and good location.

Hands down the best cocktail bar I've been to yet! I've been eyeing this place for awhile now and finally decided to try it out with my girlfriend and friend last Friday. As we walked into the bar, there weren't any seats at the bar itself but a good amount of tables to relax at. The bartender came right over to us and handed us their cocktail menu. We felt very respected unlike a lot of bars around the area. We each got a few drinks and they were all great! (Corpse reviver, smoking barrels, old fashioned, whiskey sour, bramble, a deeper shade of pale, Long Island) In total the bill was about 80 bucks which is not bad at all considering a lot of bars I've been to charge 15 dollar a drink for something much worse! Unfortunately we got there at 10:30pm and they stop serving food at 10 which is okay and gives us another reason to come back! To sum it all up: Great atmosphere Amazingly crafted cocktails Very friendly service When I try their food I will do an update to this review!

The bartenders are the heart of the experience. They don't just pour drinks; they create them. There's real skill and artistry behind the bar, and the conversation is as good as the cocktails. You can tell they care about balance, technique, and presentation. The Walk in the Garden gin cocktail is the perfect example: bright, layered flavors, premium ingredients, and that lavender garnish that hits your nose before the first sip. The scent alone sets the stage for the drink. It's thoughtful, elegant, and exactly what a craft cocktail should be. The food holds its own right alongside the drinks. The skillet meatballs come out tender and full of flavor, the kind of dish that disappears faster than you expect. The potato skins are crisp, satisfying, and exactly what you want with a cocktail in hand. And the homemade Baileys cheesecake is the kind of dessert you plan to share but end up guarding with your fork. It's rich without being heavy, with that unmistakable homemade touch. One of the best parts of Hummingbird to Mars is the tapas-style menu. You can eat as much or as little as you want, a couple of small plates with drinks, or a full progression from appetizers to dessert. It gives you the freedom to shape the night however you want, without committing to oversized entrées or predictable bar food. And that's the bigger point: places like this don't happen by accident. They come from creativity, risk-taking, and a commitment to doing things well. If we don't support small businesses that put this level of care into their craft, we'll be left with nothing but the same chains serving the same menus everywhere you go. Hummingbird to Mars is the antidote to that; personal, inventive, and genuinely memorable. From the first sip to the last bite, it's a place that delivers an experience, not just a night out. It's worth supporting, worth returning to, and worth celebrating.

Started at a table and then learned there were happy hour specials only at the bar. They refused to give us HH pricing at our table even though we were the only people in there so we relocated to the bar. The bartender seemed skilled and looked like he was making an incredible cocktail. Both cocktails were absolutely terrible and tasted like perfume. Extreme let down. The meal had highlights like the shrimp and grits and steak, everything else was flavorless and not worth the money. It's a beautiful place and had live music but I don't think there's anything that would make me come back.

The seats are comfy, with backs, and there's a place to rest your feet. They have a few TVs, so you can watch sports too. The friendly bartender greeted us with menus and asked if we needed a minute before ordering drinks, and we did, because they have a nice, interesting, creative cocktail list. I had the Grill Your Fruit Honey, a whiskey drink, and it was delectable, but I was very tempted by the Does a Pear Spritz in the Woods? It was Saturday brunch time, so we got one item from their Brunchy menu and one from their main menu. We picked the Famous Post Breakfast Sandwhich with smoked chicken. The server recommended a runny egg, and it was perfect. I had my eye on the BLT, so we went with it. It was so good!! The bacon was thick, crispy, and so flavorful. The bread was perfectly toasted. We had a hard time picking a fav sandwhich, but I think the BLT won. We ordered a side of their cheesy grits, and they were award-winning, and I'm from the south, so I know grits.
