The Copper Rocket has a great staff and great schedule Each week. My favorite is the Simon Time Trivia on Thursday's and Friday's. There are two rules for trivia: don't yell out answers, and no cell phones on the table. Pretty simple...you would think? The entire wait staff at Copper Rocket is friendly and always do a great job. The customers / regulars always seem to be happy when at the Rocket and Simon always has a full house for his Trivia Nights. On vacation this spring, we paid a visit on a Tuesday for the Simon Time Trivia Show. What a blast! He's made for the stage with his wit, and charisma. I will be returning next time I am in Florida. So sad we don't have something like this where I live... Even if they did, it wouldn't have him! That night was my one of my favorite parts of all my Orlando escapades and eateries. I went to Copper Rocket last night for a girls night. I had been wanting to check this place out after driving past it for months. The inside is modern, spacious and clean. We were greeted immediately. Our waitress was helpful when we were deciding what drinks to order. The food menu is good for a pub style place. I had the tenders and they were good. Not great but good but I imagine most people don't come here for the food. One of the girls ordered the pretzel and that thing was huge. You definitely get your money's worth in here. This is my favorite neighborhood bar and hangout! Before the pandemic, my boyfriend and I came here several times a month to have a drink and enjoy some food. Their wings are the best we've ever had -- hands down! We've tried wings from many other restaurants but none are as good as the Copper Rocket's. I recommend getting the wings with a mix of medium and garlic pepper sauce. This combination is so flavorful and addictive! You'll be coming back for more. Their pizza is also amazing. We always go for the buffalo chicken pizza featuring that same delicious medium sauce. They make that sauce in house and I would honestly buy a bottle of it and eat it every day. I got some wings and fries to go a couple of weeks ago and decided to try a random place. I've never heard of the Copper rock it before, and I don't think that I know where it's located, but I figured I'd give them a shot. I can't remember what flavor wings I ordered but I know it was a mixture of Sweet and spicy because that's what I normally get. The wings were good, the meat on the chicken was well cooked and not too fatty, so they were yummy. They are the best wings are out there but they were pretty good. They were well smothered in sauce which was great because I hate when there's not enough sauce on my wings. The fries are also really good though a little bit soggy from the trip since they were delivered. I'd be interested to go into the restaurant once everything opens back up! read more

Love going to the Copper Rocket for Simon Time Trivia. There is a group of regulars, but you will feel right at home the way the host (Simon) takes care of you! There ARE rules and Unfortunately, once in a while you'll get a new crowd that try to use their cell phone or "cheat". Simon and the establishment take care of that on the spot. I haven't been here for about a year and a half. We decided to stop for a late lunch and beers. I was really impressed. The bar was clean and the bartender was professional yet personable. I ordered the black and blue salad. Two grilled burgers, a bunch of salad and vegetable w blue cheese. Awesome with one suggestions-add a handful of hot salty fries and it will be off the hook (The fries are a Pittsburgh thing-go Penguins). While the food and atmosphere is great, the karaoke dj is incredibly racist. He openly sang a song with white supremest/racist lyrics with absolutely no repercussions. Honestly they should change the name to Copper Rocket 2.0. Before it was just a bar now its the BAR. Not much of a drinker but I remember saying this place isnt an atmosphere that I could really hangout in. Now Copper Rocket 2.0 is very nice. Just had food delivered via Grubhub. Everything was perfect. Wings cooked just right and just the right amount of sauce. Been craving a club sandwich and they hit it out of the park. I came here twice in two days. The first was their grand opening, and the second was on Super Bowl Sunday for the big game. According to locals, this place was on Bar Rescue and used to be a not so great place. Now, it's FANTASTIC. The Copper Rocket is a dark, dimly lit bar. It's not a huge place, but has ample seating and a really nice bar. There's a little stage, and on my first visit they had a singer with an acoustic guitar playing. The music wasn't terribly loud and it just made the atmosphere feel how a bar should feel: fun, noisy but not too noisy, and comfortable. They seem to have a nice selection of draft beer and bottled beer. They also have ample wine for a bar of this category and LOTS of tvs. We all tried the onion rings, the wings, and the burgers. All of them were excellent. My wings were great! They were crispy, and they weren't huge wings (I prefer a smaller, crispier chicken wing). They were nice enough to mix the medium sauce with the bbq sauce for me. The presentation was nice too. I'd absolutely get the onion rings again too. They are crispy and delicious and come with a nice sauce. I saw a couple of people get the nachos and they look amazing, so I'll definitely try those next trip. Overall, this is a cool place. I stopped in because it was featured on Bar Rescue but found it has new owners since than. They also remodeled it again I would have to say it's one of the nicer bars I've seen. I met the owner and he was really nice and they have a open mike night. Had a nice stage and lots of TVs a great looking bar top plus lots of selections. This bar reeks of mismanagement. The servers couldn't get the basics down but the food and drinks were decent. They served our appetizer, a potentially messy dip, and then we had to ask for napkins minutes later when we realized we were a bit messy from the cheesy dip. It was very uncomfortable to sit there feeling sticky. There were also a couple other things they missed. The triple dip, which consisted of beer cheese, guacamole, and pico de galo was average but nothing to come back for. The huge soft hot pretzel was amazing and maybe this place's saving grace. They did have a massive beer selection and nice big tv screens were everywhere. I heard bar rescue came to this bar. Went for an early lunch on a weekday. The atmosphere was nice with lots of TVs all around. Didn't seem like there would be a bad place to sit inside. Got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. The medium sauce I got on it was good which seemed to have a hint of citrus that gave it a nice original flavor. The chicken itself was really good, not fatty at all. The fries are excellent as well and I used the promo from their yelp page for the free draft beer with and entree. Can't beat free beer, right? I'll start with I have NEVER written a review in my life. I live very close by and gave this place a Try THREE times because everyone has bad days, especially those in the service industry. Out of the 15 years in hospitality I have never received such a bad experience. You can really mess up and own up to it and I'll move on and wouldn't write this review. BUT that was not the case. The "manager"'every time has been drunk and doing constant shots and drinking.... Fine do you but don't let it effect the business or customers paying money. Ordered wings, asked several times where they were where every time the bartender either gave us her finger, assuming she meant wait she's busy. When we finally got them they were freezing cold, and were wings the cook came out with 30 min prior asking bar staff where they went. No one behind the bar has ever worked in this industry ever! It took a manager 2 bartenders and a "waitress" to look at a phone to see a cocktail recipe and laughing, one with a beer in hand drinking! While the whole bar has empty glasses or hasn't yet been greeted.I honestly have no idea how they are in business. First time we went we called in food over the phone, went in for a cocktail and waited over an hour and a half for our food that the pizza came out half the size of the box and black! Forgot our wings they just magically kept going "missing" just no excuse. The manager again was messed up and couldn't help the situation. He wasn't even making sense! I don't know what his tie is to this place because I wouldn't hire him EVER! He was never rude or mean just is there to get drunk and be friends with staff. The cook had to come out and personally apologized. The bartender that night was nice from Rochester and could have a conversation to make up for the joke this place is. She gave me a snooty remark and asked me what did we want to order because she's not the bartender. She explained that the bartender had walked out. I decided to try to bring her around to being kind . I said I'm sorry. You must be really busy. My husband and I proceeded to order. She was still very nasty and quick with us. But I just ignored it. Once the food came out we realized that the order was wrong. We asked for fried wings and the order came back with 20 baked wings. She said they were fried. I said I've never seen fried wings with grill marks on them. She assured us they were fried. We watch her walk over to the cook. She was obviously informed the wings were in fact baked. I heard her show the cook the ticket were she indicated fried. I also hear the cook comment on the fact that we better not be still eating the wings. She rushed back over to us and snatch the wings from us and show us the ticket we're she put in fried and in a very nasty tone tell us they are baked. She walked away very aggressive! I proceeded to call her as she's walking away she boldly ignored me. I just wanted to tell her we'd just keep the baked wings. The man comes over and I explain to him how rude she was and he doubled down on her rudeness. I explained to him that we would keep the baked wings as we were pressed for time he sad No! You asked for fried. I then asked for an owner he said the owner wasn't there. I asked for contact information, he said he's not allowed to give it out. This is by far the worst service I've had in my life. There was nothing we did to deserve the way they treated us. I don't think any owner would be happy at how they treated us. The older bartender stated he was the manager. He did nothing to resolve the issue. In fact he escalated. We are new to the neighborhood so we were excited to know there was a local bar we could frequent and bring our guest. read more

I continued to give the place a plethora of opportunities, came at different times and nights, ordered different food items, and made sure to have different experiences whether that be takeout, dining in, or the bar. Each time I have been disappointed and regularly ignored more than I've been served.
