Came here because it is very close to the boulder theater. This restaurant is located in a hotel which is lovely. It was pretty busy but the food came out rather quickly. Unfortunately, the food was ehh.. the clam chowder soup was lukewarm but the calamari was delicious. They definitely need a few more people behind the bar because drinks were coming out super slowly. Overall decent experience. I loved that they were able to split up all the checks. I would be happy to come back when I wasn't on a time crunch to get the full experience :) Overall, 3.5/5 stars.

Nice trout dish and outside sitting area. Kitchen is open late night which was a nice find at 10pm on a Sunday night. It is attached to the Boulderado hotel

Before catching Nikki Glazer at the Boulder Theater, my husband and I stopped in for a little bite and NA happy hour. We opted for a table outside, as the temperature was perfect to kick off the evening. Although we encountered a little rain throughout our visit, the umbrella managed to keep us both dry and cozy. Our server greeted us with a friendly smile, despite being busy and having the entire patio to himself. Happy hour pricing continues on the weekends, so each appetizer is under $10! We opted for an order of the firecracker wings and truffle fries which was the perfect bite before our show and dinner later. We also sipped on 2 of the 3 mocktails on the menu - which were light, fruity and full of flavor! YUM! Our experience was quick yet fulfilling and I'd easily return !

I was in town for a few days visiting and found this place on Yelp. The food and service did not disappoint. I forgot the bartenders name but he was very attentive and nice, when I come back to town I will definitely make sure to stop here again.

Had lunch here a few weeks ago while vacationing. It was amazing! All on my party loved their food options which were salads, burgers, and a kids meal. My salad however, was to die for! It consisted of arugula, cherries, chicken, Brie cheese, some fennel, and maybe a few other ingredients I'm forgetting, but it was topped with a honey poppyseed dressing. Absolute perfection! I've recreated it several times since I've been home it was that good! This is also located inside a hotel, which is so beautiful and decadent! A wonderful experience and very attentive staff. Not crazy expensive either. Highly recommend!

Sit outside. Great cocktails and food. We only had cocktails. They have fresh oysters. They looked yummy and so did the wings and purgers. It is located in the historic Hotel Bolderado. There is street parking.

I had an amazing cocktail created by Monica with a refreshing, citrus flavor. She is a refined mixologist. I usually drink a White Claw but they don't serve junk here so she asked me what I liked and created a perfect cocktail for me. We are visiting from OHIO and it was a perfect night cap. Kudos to Monica. I'll be back every night until we fly out of here.

Second visit here. First time was pre-pandemic, so it's been awhile. We had clam chowder, calamari, and amazing mule cocktails. Service was excellent. Stopped in yesterday for drinks, it was my birthday and we were out and about in Boulder, a rare occurrence, and I remembered the great drinks we had prior. Apparently they recently changed their drink menu. Which is ok, but the ones we got this time weren't near as good. Service was also fairly poor. I get we just ordered drinks (we had already had lunch elsewhere) but we still spent $40, I would expect to not have empty glasses on the table for 10 minutes and have to wave down a server.

The corner bar is situated in a lovely historic hotel Boulderado! Complete with 1905 elevator, cash register and original front desk! We stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat. There was live music that was really loud but awesome! I ordered a cocktail that I can't pronounce. It was nice and smooth with a hint of strawberry. I also ordered the cauliflower and Brussels sprouts appetizer and prime rib sliders. The veggies were delicious and surprisingly the sweet chili sauce paired perfectly with it! The service was hit and miss with the drinks but the waiter did mention that the bar was backed up.

Food was excellent! The cinco de mayo special was so good. Service was great and checked on us often. Live music Sundays makes for good vibes.

My fiancé and I walked in here with the goal of eating late and healthy because we were still pretty full from eating a bunch of unhealthy German cuisine (which was great and zero regrets but I will save that for a different review) And it was a massive struggle when we saw how scrumptious the menu looked! We ended up ordering a lot more than I expected. The oysters were SO delicious and fresh. I could eat those all day. My fiancé and I ordered different soups, and I loved how flavorful my clam chowder was. However I think my fiancé fell harder in love with his butternut squash soup. Up to this evening, he is still talking about how tasty it was and this dinner happened last night! I'm starting to get a little jealous of that soup ha ha. We also ordered the Santa Fe chicken salad and asked to split the salad into 2 plates, but the portion was HUGE it was as if we ordered a full size on our own! At this point I was so full from my soup and oysters, I only took a few bites of the salad. I enjoyed those few bites though! Would love to come back when we are actually super hungry to try the more filling entrees. Also a huge plus that our waiter was super friendly and attentive!

We chose the outdoor seating at this historical hotel restaurant. We had our dog with us: he was welcomed and the hostess brought a bowl of water for him. Elliot was our server and he was friendly and professional. His recommendations were spot on! We had the chicken waffle sliders and the Paillard chicken! Chicken sliders were more of a donut base, than a thin waffle, but not disappointing at all! The raspberry drizzle over the Popcorn type chicken on top was so tasty! A wonderful balance of flavors. The Paillard chicken was pounded thin, yet thick enough to be juicy. The lemon dill sauce over the arugula was so delicious! We highly recommend this Boulder gem!

We tried a lot of things on the menu and liked each dish. But our absolute favorites were the kimchi sweet potato fries (this was a crowd favorite dish and we're still dreaming about it), ginger chili potstickers (so good!), and the hot fudge cake with ice cream for dessert (melt in your mouth warm chocolate cake with ice cream, it was 10 out of 10). We also enjoyed the butternut penne, everything crunch salad, and butternut squash arancini which were all delicious. Also, the bread deserves its own shout out - very soft and warm, and still rich in flavor. Easily the best bread I've had in a long time. Service was great with a friendly and attentive staff. Ambiance was warm, inviting, cozy and sophisticated. Would definitely recommend stopping here to anyone!!

I've been here many times in a variety of ways--sat at the bar, at tables with friends and by myself, both inside and outside, and even experienced the large farm table prix fixe menu, which was fantastic. My experiences have consistently been great--the food, service, and atmosphere have always been top-notch. Tonight, however, was my first disappointing visit. I ordered the root vegetable bruschetta, which was very good. I also ordered the butternut squash penne pasta, a dish I've had before and really enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time it was extremely spicy. I'm not sure if the recipe has changed or if it was just a heavy hand in the kitchen, but it was not something I could eat. I mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't have an answer, so I simply asked for a to-go container. Since I couldn't eat it, I later gave the container to a homeless woman sitting nearby with her grocery cart. On my way out, I spoke with someone at the door who brought over the manager. The manager asked if he could see the dish, so I opened the container for him. He then asked if he could taste it and reached in, picked up a noodle, and tried it, saying he didn't notice anything unusual. He also wasn't aware of any changes to the recipe. I suggested that if the dish is now spicy, it might be helpful to note that on the menu so guests know what to expect. What left me disappointed wasn't just the dish itself, but how the situation was handled. There wasn't an offer to replace the meal or provide an alternative, which would have gone a long way. As someone who is only about six months into living in Colorado and a new business owner in the area, I often refer places I believe in. Tonight left me questioning whether I will continue to recommend Leaf based on how this was handled, though I'm hopeful that by tomorrow morning I may feel differently. That said, based on my many past positive experiences, I still believe Leaf is a great restaurant. I just hope this was an off night and that a little more attention is given to both consistency in the kitchen and how concerns are handled moving forward.

Always exceptional food, beautiful presentation, with sustainable practices, this is the place to celebrate a special occasion. The current menu, which runs through June, is the final menu by the current chef and it highlights Costa Rican cuisine. The chef and staff have gone to great lengths to showcase this Latin American dining experience. The Barramundi was by far my favorite on the menu, although that is relative among the 7-course meal. Everything we tried was knock your socks off delicious. I love the quiet dining room, with a chance to visit with others sitting near you at the chef's counter. Their fermentation program is second to none. One thing that always makes a meal memorable is the service. The Bruto team takes care of everything and knows just about everything food or drink wise. The kitchen, 18-seat dining area and foyer are all one open, neo-industrial space in which concrete and steel are somewhat softened by lighting and splashes of color from food or dishware. They have two groups of seating per evening, one around 5pm and the other at 8pm, which they stagger into 3 groups each so food can be batched and presented appropriately. Everything is thoughtfully curated and choreographed, from the beverage selection to the portions of the plating that you get to see between courses. But the choreography does feel a bit stiff and cold at times. While the maitre'd was lovely, it was harder to engage with the other staff. I generally avoid alcohol pairings (my taste buds get overstimulated after the first few rounds), but I did enjoy my cocktail from the a la carte menu. Through our 7 course tasting menu, we explored a fun fusion of local and Central American cuisines. The bread mentioned in previous reviews is gone, but we traveled from ocean, plains, and forest in various presentations of small plates. Some of the bites seemed less inspired (of course adding pate and caviar is going to feel fancy), but other courses like the red snapper ceviche and chocolate + papaya dessert were playful, tart, and funky. You can tell that sustainability is also a huge part of the consciousness here. Be open minded to different flavor and texture profiles and know that not every dish is meant to please everyone. We ended our meal with a copy of the evening's menu as well as a satchet of house-made spices meant to evoke the essence of this Costa Rican fusion. I appreciated the effort that went into each course's preparation, but I don't know that I would pay for another experience even with a different menu.

The business itself is a pay at the counter service, and they bring your tea and food to you. What I liked about this tea service is that once you are sat down, and your choices ordered, its just time to hang out and relax with your friends. There are no other interruptions or check ins, which for me I really liked. Some might wish for more service, but this was really nice to just be uninterrupted to be with the people I came to have tea with. Listen, this is a new growing business that is trying to make it. I don't think they had a huge budget for really nice quality furniture items and I didn't love the quality of the decor or seating, but you know, I really love that this is a young business who is making a unique and original offering in our town and you can tell they are doing their best. I am confident as their business prospers we will see general improvements in decor and furniture. Its a super casual environment with tables close to one another. Since my adult daughter and I were going to be there for a little celebration I made the reservation through the restaurant's website requesting to be seated at a 4-person table. Unfortunately upon arrival the restaurant not only did not even check to see if they had us on the reservation list they also didn't allow us to sit at a 4-person table. The restaurant wasn't busy at all on a Monday night so they simply treated us like a "walk-in" guest. Mmm...what's the purpose of the reservation link on their website if they don't value it?? They took us to one of the smaller two-person tables. After sitting there for 5 minutes or so perusing the menu, we kindly asked one of the workers if we could move to the bar seating that overlooks the busy Broadway. This was the game changer. The elevated seats and the tabletop made the ambience feel more like a special occasion. Thank goodness...this was the only bummer part of our dinner. The rest, fortunately, went quite well! Food: It looks like another Indian/Nepali restaurant at first but in my personal experience, this one ranks the best or top tier for their authenticity. The below is directly copied/pasted from the electronic recipe of ours: -PANI-PURI (Vegan/DF) $8.00 -Ice Tea $3.00 -Masala Chai $4.00 -COCONUT CURRY WHITE FISH. (DF/GF)$20.00 (Medium heat) -KHATTI MITTHI BHINDI (VEGAN/ GF) $15.00 (Medium heat) -WHOLE WHEAT BREAD $3.00 Pani-puri came out after our two main dishes although Pana-Puri is more of an appetizer (lol). Tho two main dishes were cooked in a medium heat and yet they were extremely doable even for someone like me who is not much of a "heat" person. My daughter is not a big fan of naan bread so as she is way more versed in the very cuisine (she had just come back from India spending a month to be trained to be a yoga instructor with a certification) she suggested we get the thin wheat bread. This bread went efficiently well with our two mains. Both iced teas were a great accompaniment to our whole meal. And again, how authentic everything tasted and how meticulously everything was cooked and prepared, it was something we couldn't ask for better quality. A bit of a disappointment with the whole reservation situation and yet the quality of the food broke even at the end. Service was good to decent although it wasn't exceptional but our basic needs were met.
