We've actually been to Ram's Horn two Saturdays in a row hoping to catch the car show. Sadly we got there too late for most of the cars on both occasions. Turns out getting out the door early on a Saturday with kids is hard. Anyway in two trips we had pretty good experiences., with no complaints. The first time I had their Eggs Benedict bowl and my son had French toast. The second time I had their breakfast with 3 eggs, hash browns, sausage links and toast. My son had blueberry pancakes and my daughter had chocolate chip pancakes. Everything was fairly fast on busy Saturday mornings. Only small complaint might be the elevated prices for what is really diner fare. But the atmosphere and service make up for that a bit. 4.2 rounds down to 4. read more

Good service. Hostess greeted you as you walked into the door and took us to a booth. Other staff came by to get you drinks and then waitress comes to take your order. Ram's Horn Restaurant was busy with patrons coming in for the Thanksgiving Giving Day Feast for $19.99 as well as patrons coming to pick up meals. The turkey was really tasty for you got two pieces. Was not familiar with the creamy yellow gravy which tasted ok. Use to the brown gravy. The stuffing was salty. Mash potatoes and butter corn was really good. It felt like Christmas coming to Ram's Horn Restaurant for all the decorations had theme revolving around Xmas. It was so festive coming here. Definitely be back here for breakfast. When you come to this restaurant it's usually packed. It's a good sign that you're going to enjoy good food and service. On a recent busy Sunday afternoon my wife and I stopped in and enjoyed a very fresh Greek salad and a traditional Gyro sandwich. The salad was one of the better Greek salads I've had in a while. No skimping on the feta cheese, kalamata olives or tomatoes. The salad dressing was delicious. The gyro was equally as good. For a restaurant known for its outstanding breakfasts, you won't be disappointed in any of the lunch or dinner offerings. I went to Rams Horn with a group of friends, and it was your typical Rams Horn with cheap and greasy food. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered the veggie pita sandwich, but it was pretty much a piece of pita bread with loads of cheese and a couple pieces of broccoli in it. If you look at my picture, you can see what I'm talking about. It. Taste it as horrible as it looks. One of my friends ordered an omelette and instead of the hashbrowns ordered the fresh fruit and if you look at that picture, it looks awesome and she said it was very fresh fruit, so that was the only good part of that meal. Our waitress was fine and they did split the bill for us individually which is a very convenient thing that they did but would I make a special trip to this place? Absolutely not. read more

The atmosphere is cozy 50s, with booths and a large selection of family favorites. Everything is fresh and delicious EXCEPT their nachos. The menu says "melted cheese" but it is gooey Cheese Whiz. Worst nachos in town. Try the Grilled Chicken Club,instead. It was perfect! read more

Stopped in Saturday morning for breakfast. Had a small wait as the place was crazy busy. We were seated after a short wait and were immediately asked if we wanted coffee. Our waitress arrived and took our beverage order for those that didn't want coffee. We order country boy bowl, country boy omelette, and the American omelette. Everything came out looking fantastic and tasting just as good. We have driven past the location many times without stopping and I"m glad we finally did as it was a great meal for a great price. read more

Very interesting establishment. Love the updated antique vibe to the decor. Love, love the open light aspect. Food was awesome; however, the server forgot to put our order in and only comped us for our orange juice. Not pleased with that aspect at all. Still undecided whether or not we'll return. Oh and this server set the coffee pot on our table while she helped the table across from us. I found that to be very odd as well. Food here is great but if it is busy expect bad or poor service, the manager seems that she does not care and does not pay any attention. The supporting crew offers you a glass of water ONCE and that's all. I had to ask for coffee and water refills every single time. Still a good place to go but lower your expectations overtime, continuous improvement is not in their DNA. read more

Survivor restaurant of 35+ years. I'm surprised that this restaurant survived the great indoor smoking ban. As it was one of the bastions for non-drinkers to come and drink coffee and smoke. This restaurant has been remodeled in the last few years, so there are no traces of the tobacco stained walls or ceiling tiles. This place is busy on a Saturday morning. There is adequate staff and they are friendly and proactive. Between the group omlets and basic bacon and eggs were ordered. It took a few extra minutes for our order to come. No open tables and a small line at the doors. Food arrived and the group got quiet. As far as breakfast goes, I've never had a bad meal hear. But, I have never had lunch or dinner here so I can only assume that it is the same. read more

I've been eating at Ram's horn for years, mostly when I was a kid with my grandparents, and now I go with my mom because it makes her happy. We wanted a nice breakfast, and I suggested we go here. Its been years since I've eaten at a Rams horn, and I figured to it was time to stop in and see if it was as I remember. My mom and I got here during the brunch rush. It was mid morning on a Saturday, about 11 AM. It was busy, as you could expect! We put our names in at the hostess station, and waited only about 15 minutes. We checked out the menu, and surprisingly, they had a great selection of breakfast items! I went with 2 eggs over medium, hash browns and toast. My mom went with 2 eggs over medium, toast, and she took half my hashbrowns. LOL. Service here was AWESOME. These girls worked HARD. This place was packed to the gills, and I was so impressed with our waitress. Ordering with my mom can be a frustrating experience sometimes, *COUGH* and this server took her time. I mean, she handled my moms order like a CHAMP! Im pretty easy with ordering, buy my mom always has a million questions! (what does this come with again? Whats the difference between over easy and over medium? Is it extra to get this with that?) LOL. The waitress was SO good and patient, that she actually took the extra time, leaned up against the booth, and went through probably 2 or 3 order slips to make sure my moms order was correct. What a saint!!!! Anyways, our food came out right, it was hot, and our server was friendly the whole time. She was actually hilarious! I thanked her at the end, and said she did a wonderful job with my mom, and she laughed, and said "if you want, I can come with you and help you order at other resturants!" I fell over laughing! Today is the first time in awhile I've gone to Ram's Horn. It's an American-style diner with people I knew. The Kasapis family are fantastic people... but, today I was so disappointed! My salad was bad, not like a little bad, but like I am in the bathroom after some intense cramping and I know exactly why! (Insert my sad face) My salad. It came out the first time slimey. Like rotten slime. I sent it back and got a new one although the lettuce was a tad better there was still rotten lettuce amongst the new lettuce. I tried my best to pick it out but damage was done. I was a little put off, I did take a box with about 3/4 of what was given. I ate a very small plate of what I could and picked out the bad. I was sad. My stomach is mad at me right now for putting rotten food into my body! Where they get stars: the waitress we had was great! It was her first day and she was a bit nervous but she did fabulous!! Another; my girls chicken was good. They ate- and bonus, they put kids meals into a little car for them after they eat. Bravo on that. And my last star goes out to them because I know that he Kasapis family. I was disappointed that a manager never came out to apologize for rotten salad. This place is extremely busy for a day-time which means they have a lot of regulars and I'm sure a few passer-thru like myself and my kids. But.. for $40 for a rotten salad, 4 kids meals and nothing more.. there is no value in it! My kids wanted something new and they got it... I've been here a few times and I just can't see how they score so high unless they get the same thing all the time and never have a problem. It will probably be a long time before we come here again. This rustic traditional restaurant hit the spot! Equipped with a wonderful staff and tasty comfort food. The wait was only about five minutes and our food came out at an appropriate time. I had the stuffed french toast and it was delicious. My only complaint is that the portions are very big but you can typically expect that in most traditional American restaurants. I'm not in Michigan a lot but this cozy restaurant made me feel right at home. read more

As far as diners go, this is one of the better ones for quality. But that just might be the nostalgia talking as my family would get Sunday breakfast every week for years, pretty much until I left for college, although not at this location. I know -- cute, right? I've only had breakfast omeletes or the grilled cheese with fries, which are phenomenal, by the way. The omeletes are massive and always packed with ingredients. The only knock is the consistency of the hash browns. Sometimes, they'll be crispy and other times the lump of potatoes sit sadly on your plate. Recently I was looking for something less ... massive ... and went with the healthy way breakfast. Egg beaters, turkey sausage, side of fruit and dry toast, although butter and margarine do come on the side. Other than the somewhat dry sausages, the meal was filling without the grease nor the heaviness of an omelete and hash browns. The eggs were light and fluffy. The fruit cup was overflowing with fresh pineapple chunks, grapes, banana and strawberries. If you get here before 11 on a Sunday, prepare to wait. For awhile. If you visit during the week in the morning or even late morning, prepare to be surrounded by senior citizens. Either way, it's always busy here, but the service is prompt and food comes out relatively fast. read more

I went here and I really liked it! I have to say this really hits the spot for late night cravings. They have great dessert options and the place and service is amazing! I had the cinnamon swirl ice cream dessert (I forgot the name of it) and I had chili​ fries (You get a choice of cheddar or nacho cheese). The food came out real fast and it is still pretty busy in the evening. It is a famous diner in Rochester and it is really good to go for families and dates. Tonight was the first time we had gone to Rams Horn. We took our grand daughter so she could see Santa. The Santa was amazing!!! We were so pleased on how great the food was. This is the absolute BEST breakfast place for your dollar. Typically you can order breakfast, coffee, and tip for about $10. A hidden gem on the menu is their oatmeal. It is thick and comes in a HUGE portion. The fresh fruit on the side is actually good fruit- strawberry, pineapple and grapes - not the typical melon sides at most places The service is freaky fast (step aside jimmy johns) immediately after you sit down they have a fresh pot of coffee ready for you with endless & frequent refills. The decor in this place is great, with an "1950's antique muscle car theme" similar to what you might find advertising the Woodward Cruise. The establishment is clean, service is good and the employees are hard working. The menu features a good selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Went for breakfast a few weeks ago and the portion sizes were huge! The waitresses were Incredibly attentive and friendly. I did see the hostess spacing out groups in an attempt to follow social distancing guidelines and all staff/customers wore face masks when not seated at a table. read more
