    Super yummy homefries
    Kristen S.

Ordered takeout online. Chocolate chip pancakes, a breakfast sandwich and home fries. I LOVED the home fries. Everything was piping hot. Good food but on the pricey side- $14 for the pancakes and $15 for a breakfast sandwich and home fries. Plenty of parking. Food was ready when I arrived and staff were friendly. They did not put any ketchup, butter or syrup with the food so I would suggest asking for it if you need it.

Probably one of the best steak and eggs I've ever had in my entire life.

Everything on the menu sounds so good the hardest part was choosing what to order. I was with a large party aged 16 to 84, and the staff was extremely patient, friendly and kind. Highly reccomend stopping by this cute spot if you are in the area.

I've been to the Cozy Grill a handful of times and they always have the best service. Their eggs benny is a solid choice!

Great atmosphere. I truly thought the service the entire time from the hostess to table service was outstanding. The food was sadly not as good. Serving portions were small including being a two egg for my Portuguese omelet. I hope to return to try another time as my wife lives eggs benedict and there's an entire benedict menu.

Our go to for breakfast! - the best home fries and pancakes. Decided to try the lunch and was just as impressed.

Bartender seating people had a terrible attitude. Talked to patrons like they were children. Ordered a lemon meringue martini. Thought it tasted an awful lot like pineapple. Bartender asked me if it was "ok". I just said yes because I didn't feel like complaining. Afterwards, I heard her telling somebody at the bar that she forgot to put lemon in it. She forgot to put lemon in the lemon meringue martini. Must be why it tasted like pineapple. We ordered stuffy's, which took forever to come out as we watch everybody else that came after us get their appetizers. Probably waited a half hour to even put our order and we had to repeatedly ask staff for everything because nobody would come over to the table. I got fish and chips. My husband got a veal Parm sandwich. The food was good, but the tartar sauce tasted oddly like nutmeg or cinnamon. Sat waited and waited and waited. Finally asked for our bill only to get someone else's bill and have to go back up to ask for our bill. I guess the locals must like this place but we did not... definitely a one and done for us.

But if you ever tried it, you might find yourself pulling in. Just for a slice. Inside, there's a couple of tables, steel chairs, gray walls, and a full suit of medieval armor in the corner. Because, of course there is. The decor feels a bit like it's still under construction and not quite ready for prime time. The place just feels comfortable though. It knows what it's doing, doesn't need to even tell you about it. No exposed brick, no fancy bulbs, no ironic signs. Just pizza. And...the chips. Oh man, the chips. The surprise of the chef just coming out from the back to set down a tray of fresh, still-glistening potato chips. Doesn't say a word. Doesn't have to. They're super hot, they're impossibly crisp, they're perfectly salted. Not a gimmick, not a side dish you ordered. Just a way to say you're appreciated. Then the pizza comes a few minutes later. It isn't Neapolitan floaty. It's not a bar pie. It's somewhere in the middle. The crust's got that perfect char and blister, crunches at the edge, and stands out straight. It's kind of a hybrid of a crackery bar pie and a New York style. On the thin end of medium thick. It's built for flavor, not engineering. The cheese is front and center, but it's not a sloppy mess. It's balanced. The sauce cuts through clean and bright. And the pepperoni? Those little curled cups, glistening, with just enough spice to remind you why it's a classic. Nothing's fighting for the spotlight. Everything's working together. You can taste the thought that went into it. You eat it slow, not because you're trying to be fancy, but because you just want it to last. One pie is enough for two hungry people, maybe three if you're being polite. And the staff? No scripts. No fake cheerleading. Just real people moving like they've been doing this for years, and concerned about getting it right. They aren't polished, they're just nice. Across the street, another pizza place stares over at Nomad. And honestly, with that knight standing there? It feels like a budding culinary Highlander situation. There can be only one, Nomad. And for now, Nomad's got the high ground. The food's good, the welcome's warm, and those things add up to something that you remember. Go for the pizza. Stay for the chips. Try it and let me know what you think.
