Had a bite to eat for Happy Hour here with the family. Great times! They had a good number of selections on the happy hour menu, including some delicious fried fish tacos & a spicy mango margarita. For about $65 before tip, we got 4 drinks, 3 tacos, calamari and chips, mozzarella cheese sticks, and some good service. I especially liked the mango margs because they use real jalapeño and garnish nicely. The restaurant itself is nice, big with lots of wooden things. Wood makes me feel really cozy for some reason! Felt at home here. Only thing I'd change is the calamari , which is deep fried and kinda tough. It's not the high end lightly breaded tender calamari that I was expecting. Food was alright. You go more for the ambiance than the taste. Service was good but the food couldn't make up for it. "Sourdough bread" wasn't sourdough, tasted like cold French bread. The calamari was not very good unfortunately. Ahi tacos weren't great. Bucket of clams were good, good portion for a pound. Fried soft shell crab sandwich was great, best thing I ordered. The location and views here are awesome! We sat outside and it was nice, you can eat and enjoy the marina views. I like that they have a fire pit and chairs around it so you can enjoy a nice fire at night. The food was good. I ordered the wild Salmon tacos and they were really tasty. I like the blacken seasoning on them. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp tacos, those were ok. I had a bite of his taco but I preferred my salmon tacos. The works Bloody Mary was good. It was loaded with a soft shell crab, prawn, andouille sausage, bacon, and olives. $15 for a big chalet is a pretty decent. Service was good. The staff were nice and friendly. I went to eat here at 6 PM on a Saturday I requested the patio I already had a reservation for 7 PM but due to the fact they were not very crowded I asked them to seat me early. Beautiful view of the marina. They told me the patio dining menu was different from inside seating but I asked for an "inside" menu anyway. They obliged and everything was fine .... I ordered coconut shrimp as an appetizer and for dinner a filet mignon with king crab legs. The service was really really slow but I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't really matter. I had to ask for the appetizer and remind the waitress about it... She swiftly brought it out after that and I could tell it had been sitting for a while because the coleslaw in the middle of the coconut shrimp was hot. But it was good. I ordered my steak medium which should be a little pink in the middle and they brought it to me well done but that was OK because I cut it up into tiny pieces and fed it to my dogs. It was a good steak, mind you... I didn't order it for the dogs but I was really into the crab legs. They didn't give me very many crab legs there were two. But they were delicious. I was still hungry so I ordered an entire separate entrée which said on the menu 1 pound of king crab legs. They brought me what was supposed to be 1 pound of king crab legs and it was the same amount that was with my steak just a few minutes before. Maybe three or 4 ounces of crab legs. I ate it I didn't complain at all but I might get a little food scale to put in my bag for occasion such as these because that definitely was not a pound of crab legs. Overall the experience was fine and the food was tasty but for one person my bill was $225. It was not worth that much but it's just me and I can afford it. I would recommend it if you have a large party and what a beautiful view but I would order off of the happy hour menu! read more

Took my wife for Valentine's Day evening dinner. First time here. We made reservations so we were seated right away. Our waitress came and got our drink order, she was super friendly and bubbly. It was about 20 minutes to get our food, not a problem, however we noticed all the other tables got bread and butter before. We did not receive this or were offered. Food was great, had the Cajun shrimp, sausage with crab legs tray and the market shrimp and crab bowl. The down side was, we were given 2 napkins for a very messy meal. Our drinks were empty. Our waitress was engaged in conversation with two other tables for over 20 minutes. Again a very friendly person, but we could not get her attention or what we needed. We had to get a manager to fill our drinks and bring extra napkins, all while we watched our waitress still in conversation. She eventually came by a couple of times, but we had all we needed by then. We asked about the bread that we didn't get and she said they don't serve if you don't ask. Again, first time here and never offered. She did give us complimentary bread to go. Bottom line food is a bit pricey, but good, service needs some work. We happened to be in the area for another appointment which got cut short, so we loooked around for a nice place for lunch and stumbled across The Crab Pot. Having just tried the Crab Pot in Seattle a few months ago, we were pretty excited as we really enjoyed the experience then and were always hoping and wishing we could go back again.....and then here we discover they have one not too far from home. I will say that boiled seafood (particularly Alaskan King crab legs) are perhaps one of my all time favorites foods of all time, and I was pretty excited to try this place out. The location is right on the water with awesome views of the water and docked boats everywhere. Parking is plentiful, restaurant quite large and spacious with indoor and outdoor patio seating. The host (Jed) was super nice and listened to the seating we preferred and made every effort to accommodate us.....like, an outdoor patio table with water views, but not too much sun, and a heat lamp since it was a bit cold.....and he actually made that happen! We were then taken care of by our (Brooke) who was very nice, very friendly, and regularly checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy. So, as what we ordered at the Seattle Crab Pot, we again ordered the "Alaskan".....a variety Seafood boil which comes with.....Alaskan king crab, Dungeness crab, snow crab, head-on shrimp in the shell, steamed clams, Pacific mussels, andouille sausage, corn on the cob & red potatoes. Note that the price you see is per person. We were so excited when we saw our server finally walking toward us with the big bowls of hot steaming seafood! Beforehand, the table had been prepped with buthcer paper where the seafood would be poured, a cutting board, mallet, shell crackers, shuckaneer (like a can opener for shell fish), and cocktail fork, and a hand towel. Unfortunately, after having tried to peel and eat a few pieces of shrimp, mussels, and crabs, it was quite clear that our seafood had been overcooked and had dried out. We brought this to our server's attention, and she called over the manager (Rick?). Rick was so super nice and understanding and saw the dried seafood for himself, agreed that it had been overcooked, and offered to bring us a whole new batch of freshly boiled and perfectly cooked seafood. The second time was definitely so much better! .....ok, I will admit that the seafood during our Seattle visit was fresher tasting, but the seafood here was still pretty good. We totally enjoyed it all....especially with that drawn butter! We eventually thanked Rick very much for taking such great care of us, and he responded by saying that..... "It's all about the experience!" Oh, besides the main seafood boil, we had ordered the coconut shrimp that was really yummy!...and the complimentary sourdough loaf was pretty darn good too.....hot and fluffy on in the inside with a perfect crunch on the outside....and so yummy addictive when eaten with some of the provided creamed butter.....so very hard to stop munching on. Thank goodness they didn't bring the second loaf my wife requested!...or we would have been so stuffed! I will end this with the mention that this was an expensive, but very enjoyable experience......excellent service, wonderful outdoor patio on a day with incredible weather and views, and a fun self-peeling seafood experience. read more

We had the coconut shrimp and calamari for starters. Perfect start to our meal. I got the crab and crab, which is all I wanted - it came with red potatoes and corn on the cob. My family got the colossal burger, kids' grilled cheese sandwich, and two orders of the Alaskan (three crabs, head-on shrimp, clams, mussels and sausage, red potatoes and corn). We were there for a birthday dinner and the crab pot did not disappoint! We had a couple of large 1 L beers that lasted the whole meal, and then a nice clam bake that was correctly dumped on the table that had been covered with some paper for easy cleanup. We love to bring guest here because it's relaxed with excellent sea food, beautiful sunsets looking over the marina, with a choice of eating outside with heaters if needed, inside, or around the fire pit near the bar. Did I mention that they have free parking and friendly service? Most recently we had dinner with 6 of us having different entrees. Four of us had New England style clam chowder which I grew up with- full of clams and very creamy. Two of us had tacos- one fish, the other shrimp.The scallop skewers were done just right. The seafood pasta bowl was delicious with plenty of seafood. One of our group had the King Crab legs which they are famous for and the crab was sweet, cooked just right with some to share. Went yesterday and this place has gone down hill! If it wasn't for the views we would have left. The drinks and the food was subpar. Their halibut and chips are delicious! Fish and chips were food, captains combination was more than enough food. Delicious desserts. The rhubarb cake was decadent and unique. Definitely enough to feed 6 people. The mudpie was also delicious, definitely for two or more people. Service was really friendly and accommodating. David constantly refilled our drinks, listened to our requests and was really on top of it. Overall, a cool date spot. A little pricey, but the view and amount of seafood they have is good. Not too crabby of a place! I pulled into port after a day at sea and saw their banner for happy hour. This salty sailor made her way over to have herself a drink after work. Well drinks were only $5 and were made quite...well! I ordered the hot wings and my Captain got the salmon tacos. The hot wings were small, but mighty in portion size - though slightly dry. Zesty buffalo sauce with creamy ranch to pair. The Captain was pleased with the amount of salmon in his tacos and the seasoning didn't leave him fishing for more. We chose the cups of their clam chowder, cioppino, and the captains choice. The clam chowder was very tasty, filled with food sized clams. It wasn't creamy but a nice thick broth. Hubby's cioppino was in a huge, hot bread bowl filled with good-sized fish, a crab leg, clams, and mussels. I ordered the captain's choice, fried shrimp, calamari, a piece of cod, and salmon. There is plenty of huge shrimp and calamari. The cod and salmon are large pieces. I was hoping the fries were seasoned, a Cajun salt option would've been a nice surprise. Drove over 30 miles to go to this restaurant on a Wednesday for lunch. Great atmosphere, near the marina. Got seated, Nate finally came for our order, after a good 20 minutes of waiting. Ordered a Bloody Mary & ice tea, got the ice tea in 10 minutes. Waited at least 30 minutes for the Bloody Mary, once delivered, asked for napkins, they never came. My husband had to get some. Nate took our food order, which included a loaf of bread.
