    1 lb. Fresh crawfish
    Anastasia V.

So yummy! Glad I was able to visit the Crawfish Hut before the end of crawfish season. As others have said, this spot is in the same plaza as Rodeo 39 but parking isn't too difficult to come by. The restaurant itself is clean and service is friendly and speedy. Plenty of TVs for entertainment or sports-watching while eating. I usually like to sit inside and enjoy my seafood boils, but this time I got mine to-go so I could sit outside and enjoy the weather. There's a to-go order screen at the front of the restaurant. I got 1 lb of fresh crawfish with hut special sauce, mild spiciness, and corn. My order was ready pretty fast. The crawfish was so delicious and there was lots of sauce for dipping. They had some really big guys too which is always a plus. I like this spot, so I'll be back the next time I'm craving a seafood boil.

This seafood boil place is top tier with amazing and spacious seating. The employees are incredibly nice and friendly, no trouble at all. My girlfriend and I got the crawfish and shrimp and both were really juicy and packed with flavor. We got both in their house special sauce which was filled with a lot of butter and garlic. As for pricing wise, I believe that everything on the menu was reasonable 100% a must try for everyone who loves seafood boils.

This is my go-to seafood boil spot in OC! It's located in the same plaza as Rodeo 39 so parking can be a hassle, but there's never been a wait when I go despite how good it is. The workers are always really friendly and efficient. It's pretty spacious inside with lots of booths and tables. I usually get the Combo 1 with mild spice and their hut special sauce, which is a combination of all their sauces, and the cod basket with cajun fries. The seafood boil is super flavorful and not just butter like some other places. The best part about their seafood boil is how fresh and huge the seafood is! Even when we get frozen crawfish because the fresh ones are out of season, they are HUGE and taste great. The clams are also huge and soak up the sauce super well, and the shrimp aren't overcooked and mushy which is nice. I wish the combos came with more toppings, but we paid extra for potato and sausage, which were both worth it! We also tried their cod basket that came with fries of our choice, and we went with cajun fries. The fish tasted fresh and there was a perfect ratio of crispy batter. The fries were also crispy and well seasoned. I can't wait for crawfish season to be in full swings because I can't imagine how good they'd be!

Insane seafood boil spot! Been going here since they opened a little over a year ago and so glad to see there's a lot of customers now - they deserve it! We ordered 2 pounds of the fresh crawfish, 1 pound of the green mussels, and 1 pound of head on shrimp all with the amazing hut special mild sauce and a side of popcorn chicken gizzard. Love how the sauce isn't too salty and is loaded wth garlic and the chicken gizzard was fried to perfection - super tender and crispy. I recommend this spot to all my seafood boil lovers and it never disappoints!

Stanton, CA - can this beat the sauce at the OG vietnamese-run seafood boil place? On par! Definitely gotta try their house special sauce - buttery, tons of fresh garlic, slightly sweet, savory, goes really well with everything that's in the bag! We got clams, snow crab cluster, shrimp and corn. Also ordered half a dozen of oysters and the garlic noodles with shrimp. Clams and shrimp tasted plump and fresh. Oysters were briny and fresh, not as creamy as I hoped. The snow crab didn't have much flavor kinda like old frozen seafood to me. The garlic noodles were the biggest let down where the noodles were cooked for too long, and it wasn't garlicky and buttery enough. I appreciate the addition of some veg in the noodle dish. Celery was an interesting choice... it might be better with asparagus instead. The shrimp there lacked flavor so we just threw them in our seafood boil bag with the sauce. We also would like to have the option of a side order of garlic noodles instead of a whole entree with an entree price. Not too happy about that. Service was good. He gave us what we asked for but don't quite come and refill our water proactively. The space was big with lots of tables, definitely can accommodate big groups. Plenty of parking sharing the same plaza as Rodeo 39 food hall. Overall, great place for Cajun style seafood because their sauce was amazing, but I wouldn't say it's a perfect meal yet.

Crawfish Hut feels like a scam. I came back specifically to get what I expected to be live, fresh crawfish and clams, but was extremely disappointed. When I got home, the crawfish tasted like it had been frozen --there was none of the natural sweetness you expect from fresh seafood. Instead, it was stale, chewy, and lacked freshness. The sauce was also disappointing, tasting mostly like oily butter rather than a flavorful seafood boil sauce. I gave this place another chance, hoping for a better experience, but ended up even more dissatisfied. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

Coming in you are hit with a wonderful smell of the seafood. The workers were really nice, quick, and continuously checked up on my table. I ordered 2 pounds of crawfish, mild, with the hut special sauce. 1 pound was fresh and the other I chose to buy frozen. The fresh batch was so buttery and good. As for the frozen, regardless of the fact that it wasn't fresh, the crawfish were HUGE and it tasted just as buttery and good as the fresh batch. This is one of the best seafood boil places I've tried and i highly encourage you give it a try.

Came here for a quick lunch and it was way above all expectations. For one do expect a slightly pricier seafood boil but that is the price one pays. My favorite part about this spot is the sauce! Their special sauce manages to stay just spicy enough and isn't as oily as other spots. They also give some hefty portions of sides. Overall one of my top spots for seafood boil and I would definitely return!

We decided to try Crawfish Hut for my dad's birthday and anniversary since the 4.8 stars looked super promising. I was expecting something out of the box and memorable, but overall I walked away feeling a little mixed. The ambiance was cute, clean, and cozy, so props there. The food itself was tasty, not overly salty or drenched in sauce, but it was really oily. Like, tasty oily. But still super oily. We got three lobster tails, a package deal, fries, calamari, and linguine, which came out to about $170 after tip and tax. For three people, that felt like a stretch, especially since I could have easily eaten another two or three pounds of shrimp. The garlic bits were delicious, but I honestly felt kind of heavy after the meal. Service was kind and patient, but there were not many hands on deck, so things took a bit longer. Overall, not bad, but not quite the memorable experience I was hoping for.

I came in around 8:30pm on a Wednesday night with a few of my friends & we were warmly welcomed by the sweet employees! It's right side of Rodeo39 restaurant under the cool lanterns. There was groovy, chill music playing in the background with big TVs all around next to plenty of tables! The menu has variety of items from seafood to fried food baskets & free refills on their drinks! You can choose to order pounds separately or choose one of their affordable combos. We ordered combo #3 w/ shrimp, crawfish, & snow crab but we added extra crawfish pound & garlic noodles! Unfortunately, theres no alcohol here for drinkers but it's so delicious you'll forget about it. The strawberry lemonade was super sweet & they took it off the check as a gift aww. Current discounts: oysters are $15 instead or $20 for half a dozen & you get 1 corn for each pound of seafood you order! Definitely coming back soon :) They have reward points!

The Crawfish Hut is part of Rodeo 39 Public Market. It's to the right outside of the main building along with a few other businesses on the same strip. We came on a Friday evening, and it wasn't too crowded around 5:30 p.m. but got a little more crowded as the evening went on. I got the head on shrimp with the "Hut Special" sauce which is a combination of the Classic Cajun and Garlic Butter sauces. The taste is on the sweeter side compared to other seafood boil places. I got non-spicy since our server mentioned that even the mild spice level has a kick to it. I tried some of the mild sauce, and it wasn't too bad! They provide you with a bib, plastic gloves, plates, lemons, a small cup of salt and pepper mix, and a pair of scissors. The bag comes in a big metal bowl, so you can empty it out to make it a little easier to eat if you want! Staff is friendly and attentive!

ORDER shrimp + crawfish (4/5) YUMM! the shrimp was cooked to perfection and was huge. the crawfish was good as well, but the shrimp stood out to me. soso good and will definitely be my new go to. SERVICE so sweet and everything came out super fast. AMBIANCE located outside of rodeo 39. plenty of parking, but can be hard to find a spot during the busier hours.

This place is super cute and modern, plays good music, has great customer service and the food was delicious! We got the shrimp and the snow crab and the shrimp were huge and the snow crab cluster portion was very generous! We got the hut special sauce mild and it was perfect blend of spicy, sweet, garlicky and buttery! We will definitely go back!

Another Kei Concepts restaurant that doesn't miss. This time it's a modern twist on Chinese food…read more The menu has your traditional classic dishes like dim sum, roasted duck, braised pork belly, stir fried noodles, etc. but also many other dishes with an innovative nod but still rooted to the classics. The interior of Qua is bright, grand and stunning. Perfect for any occasion; from a casual family outing, to a nice dinner date, or celebration. I highly recommend booking a reservation to avoid a wait especially at peak meal times. Everything I've tried is beyond delicious. The crab roe with wheat noodles has a deep rich savory seafood flavor. My only complaint is the wheat noodles get stuck together (even when I mix the sauce in right away) since the noodles and sauce are served separate. The chili surf clams are my absolute favorite dish; the sauce that it's served with is sweet, salty, slightly acidic and bright. Such a refreshing appetizer. There was an oyster pancake that is now not on the menu that I loved as well- the oysters were tender but the pancake was not only crispy but slightly gooey from what I am guessing is rice flour in the batter. I really hope they bring it back one day! The egg tart trio is the perfect dessert to end your meal with. 3 egg tarts if more than enough to split among 4 people since it's so rich and creamy on the inside and with a super crispy and flakey (but not greasy) crust on the outside. You can really taste the different flavors of each one.

The interior is very open, high ceilings, modern. They have a large bar in the center of the restaurant which adds to the clean, contemporary vibe. We ordered a bunch of food, don't have pictures of everything, but a few standouts. First, I wasn't expecting much of the stir-fried cabbage with garlic, but it was surprisingly simple yet delicious. The cabbage had a much deeper flavor than what I expected or have tried with other stir-fried cabbage. I also really enjoyed the garlic prawns with glass noodles, but it was wayyy too much cilantro, my whole family thought so. We got an order of the mala fries, which I wasn't expecting to be so delicious! It was umami, savory, sweet, spicy - a great beer snack. Everything else was good in general, pretty consistent in flavor and presentation. My only complaint was that the food all came out way too fast and out of order. Some hot dishes/entrees came out before the cold marinated cucumber and other appetizers. It wasn't paced very well, so some of the food got cold as we ate. Other than that, service was good and they were helpful in answering all of our questions. We ordered 9 total dishes for 5 of us, and it was plenty of food. I'd like to come back here for their HH and try some more dishes.
