Authentic Korean food in a casual setting. The default spice level is low but if you ask them they'll make it really spicy. They have lots of kids figures around the windowsill which means entertainment for smaller kids. read more

Try one of the vege-jeans, they are crispy vegetable pancakes (fritters?) with a delicious sauce. Sometimes the food can take a little long to cook, but it's usually worth the wait. I really enjoy the Spinach Daen-Jang-Guk Noodle soup, which is my go-to spicy treat when the weather's cold and rainy. They have a nice selection of microbrews from the Lost Coast brewery in the Pacific Northwest as well- try the Downtown Brown or the Tangerine Wheat beer. read more

My wife and I took her brother here for his birthday because he really wanted to try a ramen place. Her brother is mentally handicapped. He likes to be friendly and talk to people. He smiled and talked to the owner/chef. The owner immediately saw him as a threat and came from behind the counter, started screaming at him, then threw the three of us out. We never even got our food, which we had been waiting over an hour for. What is wrong with the owner? My brother-in-law was in no way being loud, belligerent, or rude. He was smiling and talking to the chef. What kind of monster screams at a mentally disabled person? Please, take your business elsewhere. I would rather learn how to make my own ramen than be subjected to that type of abuse again. Seriously? Screaming and threatening a mentally handicapped person? What is wrong with you? I don't care if you own the place. There is a basic level of human decency that is demanded from most people, and the owner definitely fell short of that. This will go on record as the absolute worse service I have ever had. We should have left when I order d tea and the waiter asked me if I was sure I want d it because he had other things to do and I could expect to wait a long time for it. Well we waited a long time for everything. Appetizer one came out 25 minutes later. Number 2 another 20 minutes after that. Our drink order was wrong. We never got water. My tea came an hour later. We arrived at 7. Meals began coming at 830. I say began because 2 of the 5 at our table got their dinner. 15 minutes later 2 others. Our 5th person shared our dinners. She finally got hers at 9 pm boxed it to go. None of the sides we requested came. I paid the bill because I just wanted to get out of there with a promise to never return. Adding to all of this our waiter never once checked in our table. Never cleared any dishes. Zip. All the while we longingly looked across the street at LBOE wishing we had gone there for an amazing burger and amazing service. NEVER EVER GO HERE. That's my review. read more

I've never seen a person behave like the guy cooking at this noodle restaurant. I guess he's the owner. Apparently he doesn't want to do take out. What is this? Uber Eats will deliver it but he lost his skull over my daughter and me wanting to place an order to go in the restaurant! I won't ever give this guy a dime of my money. He was so rude. Something must be really wrong with him. The waitress was nice but while my daughter and I were looking at the menu I started hearing the soup nazi by the stove ranting that he would do this no more. He was really yelling! The food prep area is right by the entrance and open to the dining area. Everyone could see and hear him yelling. I honestly can't believe a person could flip out like that over a to go order. We put our menus down and quickly walked out. I just read the other review from the person with a special needs family member that were treated very poorly. I can totally see that happening there. Come on, really? It's a noodle house. My wife and I went on a Sunday night and ordered take out. Service was fast, the seafood ramen and mando ramen were hot, just the right spice level, oh and the fried mandos were a great starter. We saw people bringing wine in so we will know to do that next time. read more

Yassssss omg the rice ramen is amazing!! Delicious mild-to-medium spicy broth, vegetables, and rice noodles!! Also I got the kimbap but with tofu instead of beef and it was sooo good!!! It came with potsticker sauce that was probably the best I've ever tasted too. Best of all it was gluten free. The prices are good, service was good, and it's such a cute place. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. I like spicy food and my noodle dish had great flavor and the perfect amount of spice. We ordered a couple of appetizers which were just as delicious as the main dishes. I would absolutely have given 5 stars except that the service is SOOOOO slow! We waited for 40 minutes for our food and after we finished eating, another 20 minutes for our check. This long wait has happened both times we've been there. Genuinely disappointed with my last experience here. My review is not for food but for customer service. I received the wrong order due to a misunderstanding during take out, when I called to ask to receive the right soup instead I was met with an argumentative manager. When I came to the restaurant in hopes that they would give me the right soup she was very rude and said I would have to wait an additional 20 minutes because she had several orders in front of me. Mind you, I live 40 minutes from this location. I was very disappointed in how this was handled. Don't go if you are hungry. We waited for 50 minutes. In that 50 minutes, no one checked on us. We had to ask twice what happened. The first time he said it's on its way, and we have to ask again 20 minutes later. He then finally admitted that they basically ignored our order and was working on the uber eats order. I must admit I was really excited about eating here even as food was being served to the neighboring 4 tables. I can not give a description regarding the quality or taste of the food cause unfortunately my girlfriend and I never had the opportunity to try any of it. Twenty minutes after we ordered the sole waitress (who didnt write down our order and really needs to learn how to do so) brought a dish to me only which wasn't what I ordered. She promptly explained that she would remedy the situation and returned to the kitchen. From that point on our experience began to sharply decline. We waited for over an hour to not only not be served any food, but was not revisited by our waitress to refill our drinks, offer an apology or ask us if she could bring us anything while we were waiting. We both watched as two tables of a group of four came into the dining area, were seated and received their meals. Finally after an hour and a half of waiting with empty water glasses and an empty cider bottle we left without ever being approached by any staff member. Let me preface all this by the fact that we never once complained to the waitress or any staff. The most unfortunate thing about this experience was the food looked really really good. Will give this spot another chance after we have both had some chance to forget the virgin experience. One of my favorite places for lunch. Smaller restaurant with a bit of a kooky atmosphere. Its affordable, great home-cooked food and the ramen bowls will really warm you up. The kim-chi is so good too, and they have some great veggie options. Almost everything is at least a little spicy, and somethings are VERY spicy so if you don't like the heat just ask your server for suggestions, they are super helpful. I asked for what was apparently the hottest thing on the menu my first time here and they asked if I knew what I was getting into, I tried the dish at a later time and it was no joke. It can take some time since it is a small kitchen and tends to get pretty busy during the rush-dining hours so order up an appetizer (because they're delicious) and play with some of the action figure toys lining the windows. You'll know it when you see it. Its a very comfy place to sit with a small group and the patio is nice when the weather is good. Parking can be frustrating because the lot is small and the street parking is lacking but this place is worth it. read more

Wow!!! I guess the secret is out about this great place. Not usually a big fan of Korean food, this little restaurant is a oasis of deliciousness in the heart of midtown. The menu selection for a light lunch is not that large because most the dishes are large & heavy, and better suited for dinner. I had the "bi-bim noodles" and it was terrific. Spicy. Customers should note that parking is a problem here, and because there is very limited seating, that can't host large parties. I saw the waitress turn away a four-top + child because there just wasn't any room at lunchtime. Come early. read more

Good prices, great service, and even better food. Recently went to Crazy Noodle for the first time with my SO. We were quickly greeted by our server, Zac, who did a wonderful job. He was very prompt and extremely helpful. We were indecisive with our choices, but after some questions I decided to have the Manduguk. We did not wait long for the food at all, and we definitely did not leave hungry. The food was delicious, you could tell that the ingredients were quality, and for that low price we will definitely be returning.
